The RMX 750W instead of the 850W? The difference in price is ~20$ here, might as well go with the bigger one just for ease of mind...

As for the Chromax fans, I'd just need to get a replacement Chromax-branded fan like this and install it instead of the default brown one on the cooler? I'll have to google around for a bit, 60€ (~75$) seems a bit steep for 2x just to get a better looking cooler :\ Thanks for the info - I think I'll just save myself the hassle for now and go with the vanilla Noctua, then if I absolutely hate it I'll just swap out the fans for black Chromax ones.

Edit: not sure if this setup uses any custom fans, but it looks perfectly ok.

Pretty shitty.

  • Only DDR3 12GB of RAM, DDR4 has been out since 2014.
  • 1TB harddrive is okay, if it's in good condition.
  • 760 is pretty outdated but just like the 1050ti and should be upgraded to something a bit better when the craze for mining is gone.
  • I5 is going old and not too good for gaming. Try this.
  • The motherboard i'm guessing takes DDR3 and not DDR4 so you should upgrade to the B350 only if you're going for the AMD card!

I have the MSI Gaming AMD Ryzen X370 DDR4 VR Ready HDMI USB 3 SLI CFX ATX Motherboard (X370 GAMING PLUS).

I've done a bunch of researching and I think the issue is related to the Ryzen, but I haven't been able to find a solution. I have also updated the bios a few months ago, and try to keep my drivers most up to date.

Do you mean this? I don’t need an ultra slim. That doesn’t really matter to me.

Alright, I guess I have no choice.

G.Skill TridentZ RGB Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 3600MHz (PC4 28800) Desktop Memory Model F4-3600C16D-16GTZR

I really do not want to spend so much on ram but I want the best for my build.

I will be getting the asus tuf plus x570. I do not want to deal with the bios setup either. I am really excited to have a higher end cpu from my i5 6600. I just hate this long wait for the parts to come in :(
