Honestly, a lot of the popular foods you find in the stores and not really that good for your poochie. Our rotties are eating Fromm Salmon ala Veg because it contains Taurine. Stay away from peas, lentils, and other legumes or potatoes because it blocks Taurine absorption which can lead to a canine heart disease, known as dilated cardiomyopath (DCM). High levels of legumes or potatoes appear to be more common in diets labeled as “grain free". Here's the link to an FDA warning.

My wife has worked for a vet for 20 years and has spent a ton of time researching which food is best and right now that seems to be the Fromm. We're considering going to a raw diet soon because they love it and we can control exactly what they're eating. We want our babies to stay around for a long time and we've spoken to several breaders and owners to see what they're feeding them and many swear by the raw diet. We've had rotties for 20 years but have never had one make it to 10 years but some of our friends have had several that have made it to 13 & 14. A lot of the people we've talked to swear by the raw diet.

My wife knows the author of Raw and Natural Nutrition for Dogs, Lew Olson. You might be interested in getting this book and taking a look. Good luck.

I have 2 puppies right now. One is very much like tax, the other is very calm and relaxed.
He's probably bored and needs to get rid of energy. You could walk him around your house on a leash, that would get him better used to the leash and you being a leader, also gives him something to do and releases energy. Make sure he's paying attention to you while you do it.
Make sure he has plenty of toys and things to do. The best toy to keep my 2 occupied has been this
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B000KV7ZGQ?psc=1&ref=yo_pop_mb_pd

You can fill it with treats or food and they have to work at getting it out

Okay. First off, he is fully grown. He doesn't need those nuts unless he is of good lineage with a good record. Here is a good rule of thumb. Neutering him will help take away the instinct to obsessively mark his territory. Additionally a male body wrap may help him stop marking and he'd have to wear it in the house except when crated.

Your dog smells that cat. He may not know what it is but he smells it.

Putting stuff where he pees just leaves you with more stuff to clean when he pees there again.

This is an issue not specifically tailored to the breed and there is a lot of good advice on Youtube which is pretty much how I've trained my dogs.

Thanks! It’s a Vailge car hammock my sister bought for me off amazon, had to find it for you since I didn’t buy it. Works great though. Good pick on her end :)

Here is a really high-quality harness. I use these for my boys. They're padded, fully adjustable, and crash-tested.

Like please PLEASE get one of these for Chief. Keep that sweet baby safe.

We got our 90lb girl this life jacket size X-Large.

It's a little pricier than some others on the market, but the quality is great. She has much more confidence in the water now with the jacket on.

This is the one we got. My dog is 55 pounds/Labrador retriever and we got a large. It even looks more comfortable than a lampshade hah. She looks like she’s ready to go on a long trip to somewhere fun. (Which who knows when’s she’s on these painkillers hahahahaha)

Are you able to install baby locks on your cupboards? We have a cat that liked opening up drawers and we just didn't like that for sanitation of our dishes, so we got baby locks. There are the kind that can lock doors together like this or this, and there are kinds that go inside the cabinet if your door doesn't have knobs/handles like this. We have the inside kind and it's definitely helped. As for your fridge, you might just have to take off any magnets and things and find another place for them if you can't deter her from leaving things alone.

Edit: Also, if you're looking for a baby gate of sorts, we used one similar to this while training and pet-sitting. We still have it for our cat room to keep the dogs out of the food/litter and the cats are small enough to squeeze through the bars or they'll jump. It's fairly cheap for not needing to screw it into the wall, and the door is nice for not having to take it down or step over it whenever you want to use the kitchen.

Haha! Indeed a paradox.

I have a 7 month old male rottie who will end up in the 110 - 120 range.

I got this crate and it has been perfect. I recommend using the divider for crate and potty training.

I got a raised dish that looks like a maze to slow them down when they eat. It helps a ton. Not this one, but one like it:

Thank you! I got the bone from Scheels. Here's the Amazon link for it as well. https://www.amazon.com/RedBarn-Mammoth-Beef-Bone-Inches/dp/B0013C1CDS

I’m assuming you mean the white circular thing? It’s a clip-on LED light! You press it to turn it on, and it’s decently bright. We use it for when we go for walks in the evening or when we let her out in the yard for potty at night, since she can be hard to see in the dark. It was less than 10 bucks on Amazon - I totally recommend it!

EDIT: Found it here! We got white, but it also comes in different colors

PetSafe easy sport harness, we solely purchased it for the handle, we mainly hike off lease, I grab onto the handle if a person is going by since Rottie are pretty scary to other people

those might be a little too large since he's still small. I would go with something like this or this.
