This is a reply to another person starting to use SFM. Hope this helps you and anyone else.
Do NOT give up. I'm forcing myself to go ahead and learn to animate.
Here's some stuff you can use to learn about animation.

Plus, look for SFM Tutorial (add animation to specify) and you'll find a lot of tutorials. Some nice stuff is Jimer Lins and really, REALLY recommend the stuff from Zachariah, specifically lighting and camera tutorial.
