I've got this pair of Rockports and I've been really impressed by them. I've had them almost one year and I finally wore through the sole and the side tore recently. They don't even smell bad. They aren't steel toe but they've been great for the custodial work I do. The waterproofing was great and the non-slip rubber lives up to its title; I was able to maintain some traction even while stripping and waxing floors, which is literally the most slippery surface I can imagine ever walking on. I'm absolutely buying another pair and I'll retire my old ones to lawnmowing shoes, because they're still comfortable and wick great. Given that these things have been in some pretty harsh chemicals I'd say they've held up really well. The leather scuffs really well and gets more character the older it gets and they look fine with jeans.

I use the Reebok Men's Realflex Transition 2.0 Cross-Training Shoe very good for jumping and lateral movement, not recommended made for running though. I use them for max interval training. They're kind of narrow so you'll want to go about a full size up from your normal shoe size. But I think they're pretty good.

Cole Haan used to sell these at Nordstrom Rack but they no longer do. I tried to find them on Cole Haan site, the Nordstrom Rack site, and Amazon. Something with a small, hidden rise is preferable

Perhaps I don't know what to Google for though. I tried "loafers", "casual", "slip on", and some other terms. I'd happily buy something decent from another company though. Every single shoe that's remotely similar to these has curly-cues, are too pointy, or both.

EDIT: After an hour of searching I bought these slip ons by Ecco. Payless also has something similar but cheaper. I'd still like to know what type of shoes the shoes in the photo are though! "Slip on" seems really broad!
