3. Bliss Kiss Simply Pure Cuticle & Nail Oil Pen To-Go 2ml - Crisp Scent 1PEN-CRI

    Features:
  • Embarrassed by Your Nails & Cuticles? If you’ve ever shoved your hands in your pockets or tucked them under the table to hide raw, red cuticles or broken bitten nails, you’re not alone! If your nails are thin, brittle, peeling, chipping & refuse to grow, there's hope! Our cuticle oil pen brush applicator is convenient and spill-free perfection for your purse or pocket. Get fast relief for stubborn nails & painful skin, even if you’re struggling to break lifelong habits. Take one wherever you go.
  • Broken Nails That Refuse to Grow? Aren’t you tired of wishing you were born different? Most people think that “harder” nails will help them grow longer. Using a nail strengthener or hardener actually makes nails too hard, more brittle, and more prone to breaking. Longer nails flex when you bump them into things. Strong flexibility comes with using a high-quality nail oil blend. Bliss Kiss nail and cuticle oil pens are the best portable nail repair solution for broken nails that just won’t grow.
  • Damaged Nails? Have gels or acrylics betrayed you? If you’re ready to break up with the salon and save money, time, and heartache after having your nails and cuticles damaged from gels or acrylics gone wrong, the Bliss Kiss cuticle oil pen is for you. If you’re tempted to get acrylics to cover up peeling, short nails that refuse to grow, use our oil instead. You don’t need a manicure, you need Bliss Kiss! The results others share in the reviews can be yours too!
  • Hard, Cracked Skin? Deep, painful hangnails or splits in the skin around your nails makes it terrifying to wash your hands, apply hand sanitizer, squeeze a lemon, or just go about your daily life. Bliss Kiss helps heal what’s hurting you. Our cuticle oil isn’t just for fingernails either. Treat your toes, too! Hard calluses don’t stand a chance against the hydrating power of Bliss Kiss! Our proprietary formula softens calluses and hard skin around your nails, toes and cracked heels.
  • Feeling Hopeless? If you’ve tried other nail strengtheners and nail growth treatments and been disappointed, you’ve finally come to the right place. Bliss Kiss nail and cuticle oil is hand-made with love and backed by nail science. No water. No dyes. No parabens. No preservatives. No mineral oil. No gluten. No almond oil. No fillers. No kidding. Each Simply Pure nail oil cuticle pen is hand-made with love in the USA since 2012. Remember, Bliss Kiss is best for instant relief & lasting success.

Hi, OP :)

*Disclaimer - I'm not a licensed nail tech. I'm a self taught hobbyist who learned how to do her own nails, and occasionally friends' nails.*

So, I've been doing this for about 5 years and my old reliable lamp from amazon (a random brand called youspicy - which is no longer available, sadly) just gave out. It was a beast. 48 watts, UV bulb in the top AND LEDs around the sides, mirrored bottom that was removable, etc. After it finally gave up and died I was using a strictly UV light lamp that a friend had gotten me last year, and I HATED it! Not only did it take 2-3 times as long (90-120 seconds vs. 30-60 seconds in my old lamp), but it got really hot inside - like a tanning bed does. I ended up setting that one aside in case of emergency and was hoping I could find something similar to my old lamp.

As one does, I hopped on amazon and found that in the 5 years since I'd bought my old lamp LITERALLY everything has changed. Now nobody really uses the combo lamps with UV bulbs AND LED - I mean they exist, but aren't particularly good/well priced - all I was seeing was lamps lined with only LED lights. After a day or 2 of research I realized that it really does come down to wattage. LEDs are much more energy efficient and get the job done just as well as anything. Basically, you find one that fits your needs (i.e. I knew I wanted a lamp that had a pad on top for your hand, at least 48 watts, and 10, 30, 60 sec timer), read the reviews, and go from there. Absolutely no need to spend hundreds on a branded lamp that is essentially the same thing.

Here's the one I got recently on amazon - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N0BCN9B/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_U_q4r4DbRXKW8Y2

The products you use will make a difference, though!! Definitely splash out on quality base/top coats if nothing else. Hope this helps :)

Beauty secrets from sally beauty is really good and way cheaper in the long run. I bought a cheap drill off amazon. I've had it for years but it's still good. It came with a bunch of attachments and I bought a random drill bit also off amazon to go with it I can't remember what it's called but it's the kind for when your going to take a lot of the acrylic off.

Edit- this is the drill I got https://www.amazon.com/Aooher-Professional-Electric-Polishing-Manicure/dp/B0171UR798/ref=mp_s_a_1_17?crid=485HL90KTGI8&keywords=acrylic+nail+drill&qid=1551046473&s=gateway&sprefix=acrylic+nail+dr&sr=8-17 but when I got it years ago it was purple and came with more drill bits but tbh I almost never use them. I only ever use those sandy ones or the one I bought separately. The one I bought separately I'm almost positive is a carbide medium grit. I just bought a cheap random one that had good reviews.

I have a little nail oil stick that I carry in my purse and apply throughout the day. My nail person said it helps to fill the pores in the gel which prevents stains and also helps keep it more flexible. If the gel is reacting to something else though, I don't know if that would help.

I buy Gelish from Sally's Beauty Supply.

Have you tried the China Glaze Gelaze? I bought this lamp yesterday (it's coming tomorrow!) and went to Sally's today and took advantage of the buy 1 get 1 free sale on those polishes; I love normal China Glaze colors, and have heard good things about Gelaze...

these ones

We also use 5 per take off, so I take it off one hand first then pop them on the other hand and dip my fingers in remover to soak em again. That way you get double the use. So I guess the 100 wraps will give you 40 removals instead of 10...right? Lol math

Thank you! I used loose gold foil like this and stuck it to the tacky layer of pink gel. It does need two coats of topcoat over though as it can be harder to work with than transfer foil! :)

I bought my [LED nail lamp] (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00KBNWDA6?ref=yo_pop_ma_swf) from Amazon and I really like it. It cures my nails just fine and has way more settings than I ever have used.

Sorry i don’t know what you mean I’m pretty new to all of this but I got these brand AORAEM 500pcs Lady French Acrylic... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01CSANBU0?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

The lamp I've been using is a led lamp I purchased on Amazon (NailStar Professional LED Nail Dryer Nail Lamp for Gel Polish with 30sec, 60sec, 90sec and 30min Timers https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01DC414QO/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apip_BoYEoNfThEmhC). It get the job done but after awhile I started to feel that the lamp may be the reason it's not curing correctly.
The also the possibility the nails are not prepped correctly before the building the tips(I just have to practice more) . Sadly I bit the bullet and bought ibd hard gel it seem to last longer. (Doing the extension with the hard gel and the rest of the natural nail with the soak off builder)
