Not OP, but I have this dashcam and absolutely love it. 1080p, awesome convex rearview mirror. Daytime video is so clear you can see bugs on the windshield, nighttime video is not quite as good. But overall I like it.

Amazon has it pretty cheap, like this item: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00886HO02

I use the Ajinomoto brand myself, works great. Any decent size supermarket should have it as well, barring that, check your local ethnic market. Just remember that you don't need a ton of it to boost the flavor of a dish.

If you already have coax in the room you can try one of these. It has worked well for me. I previously had a ethernet-over-powerline solution that had adequate speed most of the time, but would randomly be slow due to interference or something. However, those were a really old standard and the new ones with their higher theoretical throughput might fare better. It's hard to say how they'll work without trying a set in the specific outlets you'll use, though. Neither solution is as good as a real drop but are certainly easier.

I did keto for a few years before moving up here and a little bit after (unfortunately, STL's great food scene got the better of me). Trader Joe's was good for some of the staples. I honestly never found anything of value at Aldi's except meat and cheese, which I can just get (better quality) anywhere in STL. Everything else was overprocessed or frozen food shit.

TBH, literally the only thing you'll run into SOME issue with is the flours/powders. If you end up having to find them online, so be it, just buy bulk and don't worry about it. Be sure to get unblanched almond flour AND almond meal, as they're two different things for two different uses. Don't let anyone fool you.

Also, Schnucks carries at TON of flavors of Halo Top ice cream which is keto-friendly you are welcome.

I did end up ordering online a few times but I'd make huge bulk orders of staples. I did most of my keto shopping at Netrition.com, they have a lot of "weird" stuff. I bought some CarbQuick but never ended up using it. Most people would say you're "not supposed to" make foods that are keto versions of baked goods (mostly) because it'll just make you crave the real thing, but who knows. I fell off that ship a long time ago. Now I'm big enough to sink one.

Basically it'll make it because it will all melt together in the end. I think if you just finely dice up the cheese together or use a food processor to basically turn it into a nice uniform blend.

And as for the dressing, there's usually a few places to buy it online, but this may be the most expedient option, but is super expensive at 25 bucks. Its basically a sweet creamy Italian dressing, so I'm sure there'd also be similar products at your local market.

When patriarch of US Democratic Socialism playfully rousts about in communist kitsch, praises the Castro and the Sandinistas even going so far as hiss followers calling themselves [Sandernistas] (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LZE7B8M/ref=dp-kindle-redirect?_encoding=UTF8&btkr=1), and posting things that praise for Venezuela on his website, I think one has to come to the conclusion that this was never going mainstream in the US. Don't be such a defeatest -- the Dem's have a real chance if they don't throw it away on idealogical non-starters.

Nonsense. My TiVo that has a 1TB hard drive and can store something like 150 hours of HD recordings. Storage is cheap, and surveillance video doesn't need to be stored indefinitely. Just a few days worth, and anything notable, like this, can be pulled and stored elsewhere.

A 3 TB WD Purple hard drive which is optimized for surveillance is $109 on Amazon. That's not a lot of money.

My bike was stolen yesterday in Maplewood. If anyone spots it I'd love your help!

The bike is a Trek Marlin 6 hybrid mountain bike. The most noticeable thing about it is that it is a very large bike: a 21.5" frame with 29" tires. The paint scheme is black with lime green highlights:

http://s7d4.scene7.com/is/image/TrekBicycleProducts/Asset_247203?wid=1490&hei=1080&fit=fit,1&fmt=png-alpha&qlt=80,1&op_usm=0,0,0,0&iccEmbed=0

The tires have a very distinctive tread pattern as well:

Other distinctive features are that it has a wide gel seat, and the rear axle has a bike trailer attachment point. The top of the body will have a Maplewood Bicycle shop sticker on it.

Do it yourself like a man should! You also need some beard wax for that man, my god! This stuff is the shit. The ladies dig the scent too.

I've had this one for about 2 years. Pretty standard features as far as dash cams go, but I like it. Let me see if I can link some clips from mine. I may PM you if I link them from my facebook.

Check out the book Secret St. Louis by David Baughner.

He was on StlPublicRadio a few months ago promoting it and it was all pretty neat stuff that I had never heard of.

Some people absolutely left for racist reasons, but others were responding to strong incentives, and even non-racists were right in recognizing that property values were falling in demographically changing neighborhoods.

The other, sometimes overlooked factor that explains a lot of that map are the institutions that encoded segregation into wide areas of the law. The book to read about that is The Color of Law.

I was just at The Book House in Maplewood and saw a few books in their local section that looked very interesting. Weird Missouri and Finally! A Locally Produced Guidebook to St. Louis By and For St. Louisans.

Off the top of my head, you could visit Bevo Mill, The Minature Museum, and The Silver Ballroom Pinball Bar all in one stop.

Here is the Groupon for our Wax Museum. They don't exactly dust it....ever, but that actually makes it more fascinating.

P.S. In house advertising.

You've got people in your bar, why not advertise to them. If you have MS Office learn power point. Create your slides of what you want to promote (I usually do it the start of every month for the upcoming months bands, food specials ect).

Save as a 720p video. Throw it on a USB stick and plug it into a cheap media player (like this http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008NO9RRM/ref=pd_lpo_sbs_dp_ss_2?pf_rd_p=1535523722&pf_rd_s=lpo-top-stripe-1&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_i=B006EFQYLY&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=0498M8FQW33881ZFBDFJ)

Connect it to a TV in your bar.

u/Ithurtsprecious · 1 pointr/StLouis

I bought two orders of these. They're authentic, arrived perfect and not broken like anyone elses were. And Prime ftw!

For what it's worth, I was a bio major in undergrad, am currently in med school, and science was always my weakest section on the ACT. So she shouldn't feel bad about it :) From what I remember, most if it was interpreting graphs and data. I'd encourage her to just do as many practice science sections as possible, and work her way up to doing them timed. You can get a book like this that has a bunch of questions, and explanations for each answer.

Since it's an all in one deal, does the tinnyneas only happen when playing vinyl? Or is it there with the tape deck and am/fm tuner? If so, your eq might be hosed. Sometimes a good squirt of deoxit will help.

If it's only the table, then probably the needle needs to be replaced. It's actually a fairly simple fix.

You can find parts here.

I have been telling everyone I know, after watching this one, go watch The Safe Side of the Fence. It covers a lot more of the history behind it, and I found it to be much more interesting and less melodramatic (not that the situation doesn't warrant the drama!).

Here's a link, it's on Amazon Prime:
