There was an issue with some Google Slates that had lag and was shortly solved.

The other one is the constant talk of Google Glass was canceled. Which is also NOT true. They did pivot and currently testing the third generation.

Google has hit a new market over and over again and taken it. Heck their search was late to the market and won. Gmail was really late and won. Apple and Microsoft owned K12 for decades and yet almost overnight Google took the market.

Microsoft had over 90% of browser share before Chrome. Now they have less than 10% for their two browsers and have thrown in the towel and will just use Google Chromium.

Even newer products Google keeps doing it. Look at how Google WiFi has been the top selling Mesh and also #2 best selling since the day it was released.

See how it is not only #1 but #2? Google basically knocked Eero out of the market and caused a huge loss in the firesale to Amazon.

Ultimately it is about money. Google is growing at 22% constant currency and more than tripled profits last quarter YoY.

I just finished this really sweet setup a few weeks ago and the quality/modularity of it is amazing for the price! (<260€ with some good price hunting)

The DAC is there mostly for the mic volume/quality, and it is amazing how good it sounds. In a good environment, it is pretty close to a $200+ pro microphone and is useful is waaaaaay more situations.

It's cheap, it's only a wireless N router, but it's been working fine for me. I haven't used it for gaming but it works just fine for when I stream Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, and Youtube.


The other nice thing about the travel router is some places I've stayed only let so many devices connect to the internet without paying more... well the router is just seen as one device... so I connect the router to the internet and then connect every other device to the router and boom, as many devices as I want without paying extra lol.

I haven't tried my magnetic charging doodad on the Stadia controller yet, but I have it for just about every other device and it works great!

Looks like the power adapter has the micro-USB cable molded in, not as a USB type A port. But, you wouldn't need an adapter to extend the micro-USB cable – just something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Extension-Cellularize-Extender-Adapter-Samsung/dp/B07881TBL1/ref=asc_df_B07881TBL1/ (micro-USB female to micro-USB male). To be clear, though, I wouldn't do this if you're going to use the Ethernet port.

I'm going to save someone some grief here and point out that the "specific adapter for 360 controllers to allow them to talk via USB" is the Microsoft Xbox 360 Wireless Receiver for Windows. This will let you connect up to 4 wireless Xbox 360 controllers. It's only officially supported on Windows, but you can use it on Mac and Linux as well.

DO NOT BUY the poorly named Xbox 360 Play and Charge Kit. As much as it seems like it should work, it DOES NOT allow you to use wireless controllers over USB. The cable only sends power, no data.

There’s other options, even a 3-pack... This was just default Amazon’s Choice

It’s stable enough to hold my Pixel 3 XL... but the volume buttons are in the way and always turn off because of the clamp. That’s just the case of the phone’s design though, and couldn’t imagine it being any better with the official Claw. I can say though that it makes holding the controller heavy on the top side, so I hope the official Claw’s design really makes it ergonomic.

You can buy 3rd party adapters. I have 2 of these for my regular Chromecasts and they work wonderfully.

Standard ISP provided routers typically do the bare minimum and are configured for mass market to work in the majority of homes. If you need prioritisation features then you'll need to find a router to replace your current one, likely one that can be used for a DSL connection if you're on BT, then with the spec you need.

I replaced my BT Smart Hub a couple of years ago after getting sick of going back and forth with them on how bad it was. Since it is just a usb ethernet adapter you can use many 3rd party adapters such as ones like this
