In regards to spoilers, I think it's important to note that there's some things which are going to be spoiled no matter what you do. This thing's been out for several years now, so some stuff will be spread around, especially from Stardust Crusaders. It's easy for those of us who've read it already to forget that the details of Dio's Stand were a significant plot point. It's best to treat some things like the conclusion of The Empire Strikes Back, and accept that though they may not be surprising, it's still quite a ride to go through.

For reading the manga, things are kind of up in the air at the moment. Officially, there's only Stardust Crusaders in English so far, with Jojonium on the way, and though everything is translated in one form or another, Parts 3 and 5 still have subpar chapters, and we see a new one updated every couple of weeks on bato.to, so there's no big collected download for those parts in decent quality. It may be a good idea to emphasize supporting the official release; as that's the only way we'll get more translated officially. Related to that, it's probably a good idea to point out the name changes in the translation. Some people are very sensitive about that, so maybe let them know that there are fansub groups for the anime, though that doesn't support the official release.

Unfortunately, the books seem to be the easiest thing to buy; the anime is spread across fifteen volumes, all of which are fairly costly, and there's no stateside release yet. It's all on Crunchyroll, and you could buy a premium membership if you want to support it, but I think there's some debate on whether or not that's really worth it. Apart from that, the most common merch would be the figures, with the Super Action Statue line being poseable, smaller figures, and the Statue Legends line being larger, static, and more detailed. Might be worth looking for someone to give you more precise terminology. There's other things floating around though, like this beautiful piece of work.

The games are pretty easy, but it may be worth including something like this Pastebin of instructions on how to get Heritage for the Future running with Fightcade. I have no idea if that actually works or anything, but there are ways to get HftF running on PCs.

When it comes to introducing Jojo to people I think the anime is pretty much the best option. I tend to use this clip when showing off what it's about. It's not much of a spoiler, and works really well as a barometer for whether or not they'll be into the series as a whole.

Something that might be worth including is the various unofficial attempts at making a Jojo tabletop game that have happened over the years. This seems to be the most complete one, but someone else might have a better idea. A FAQ might also be a good idea; I.E. What order should I read them in, why did they replace the Ripple, how does King Crimson work.

My current collection is very big, but I like what I've got. I have volumes 11-16 of Stardust Crusaders (I really love the last several battles of Part 3), the DVD set of season 1 of the anime (the one with the dub), and an Iggy plush I got as a gift.

Anyone selling it right now on the Amazon US site is a third party reseller instead of directly from Amazon.

I checked it on release day, the game was going for slightly under $60 US with 4 dollar international shipping. You won't have to pay the special taxes that Japanese have to pay for these goods, either.

If you're unsure of the price you can run the price on Amazon through a quick Yen to Dollar converter on google.

I've bought a number of art books and games through Amazon Japan and the difference in price is palpable.

That would definitely be the third volume of the Battle Tendency JoJoniums, here's a link to it on Amazon, assuming you want it in English, as long as she's caught up to that volume it should be the perfect choice. It has some good content featuring Caesar and even has him on the cover.

Should be simple. Blue tank top. Gray pants, preferably jeans. Brown costume boots, probably some pirate ones cause those have bell tops these are probably the best. Get these gloves with these too. I can't seem to find a belt that looks like Jonathan's, but a brown belt with a gold buckle should be convincing enough. Don't forget the shoulder pads and Maybe this for his backpack. If you don't like the shoulder pads, maybe get them off a set of football pads and paint them the darker brown.

I got it new from Amazon. The 2 volumes costed me 19.49 dollars without the shipping. with standard shipping to Israel(where I live)it costed me 26.46 dollars. I also activated the free trial for amazon prime to get a discount. So I guess that if you live closer to America(or "Amazon.com Services, Inc.") then you should get it for even cheaper.

For Johnny blue lipstick, this is pretty much perfect imo. It looks way greener in the picture than it actually is. It is almost exactly Johnny's shade irl.

You can buy him the actual manga(like this one for example) though there aren't any Josuke ones(aka Part 4 mangas) in English yet but its nice especially if he hasn't read the manga yet and the covers are cool plus they aren't too expensive.

They are known as fountain pens. ink is stored in the pen that is dripped out at the tip which spreads apart depending on the pressure used when pressing down. This also allows for different pen thicknesses without using different pens. They get pretty price-y but they can be pretty reasonable, too.

The wammu drawing is taken from the back of the re-release of part 2 , with new cover art by him heres the amazon link. And checking online its says the re-release was made in 2014 in japan and 2015 with english text, so this wammu picture is definitely recent and has his part 8 artstyle considering JoJolion came out in 2011. So yeah it's really weird to see wamuu like this, if you want an even weird out here's all the jojos in his part 8 style in a group shot

I purchased these along with white gloves for my cosplay of Joseph. They turned out pretty well for a test run, I am thinking of making some more out of black leather and Velcro or snap buttons when I go back to revisit the piece.

I believe that when I watched it on Crunchyroll, Parts 1, 2, and the first half of Part 3 were the uncensored versions. (If I'm remembering wrong, feel free to downvote this comment and tell our bro what's really up.)

But if that won't work, English blu-rays for Parts 1 and 2 are coming on the 25th (which will include the Japanese dub as well). I assume they'll also be available in Canada, but I guess I don't really know for sure.

Your best bet is with this, although quite a few retailers are seemingly selling it if you have a preferred one. The only other legal physical release for the show in english was just a mess. There's no dvd/bluray for the rest of the series yet.

The big volumes soon to be released in English are in colour. I've already pre-ordered mine ;)
