This is my first post in this subreddit so excuse me for my complete lack of flair.

Are you interested in trading for steam redeemable codes? If so, would you be interested in the PAYDAY The Heist 4-Pack for your Holiday Sale 2011 Gift of Half-Life 2+HL2:LC and Half-Life 2 EP 1 + 2?

Here is my steam profile is my profile. I literally just bought my own personal copy of PAYDAY The Heist and I'm willing to buy the 4-Pack if you're ok with the idea of trading those games of yours for the 4 game codes. I also still have unused Darksiders and Supreme Commander: Forged Allicance game codes left over from my recent purchase of the THQ Bundle from Amazon. I already had Darksiders but I really wanted Metro 2033.

So if any of that sounds interesting, I would greatly appreciate it if you considered.

Maybe I'm not the right person to ask... since I have 3 copies of Blur. But I'll chime in.

If you want to play the game without pirating it, and you don't care if you have to add Blur as a non-steam game to Blur, then buy it there.

Now, if you want a copy on Steam, you need to find a seller. You can't buy it from the store anymore. Go ask every single person out there with a tradeable copy of Blur. Then buy it from the person who'll sell it for the last amount of money.

The cheapest it has been is $5, and its normal price was $20.

But because now there's a finite supply, the average price is likely going to increase as people re-trade it, as the game becomes more scarce, etc. Unless the demand drops significantly because the game comes back to the steam store, it starts giving users viruses, etc.

So uhh... where was I going with this? Well basically you can't put a definite price on this game, since we can't amass all the copies of Blur available, we don't know how many copies are available... or what people are willing to part with them for.

I'd recommend finding a couple traders, their price, and then deciding if Blur is worth the same price as a new triple A title.

I mean, if you're willing to spend $60 on COD Ghosts on release, then why is it so unbelievable to spend $60 on a game you can't buy anymore?

Just a friendly FYI Amazon is going to have this on sale in a few hours for only $20. All keys activate on Steam.

If you you would rather just trade a Amazon gift card code, get the "print at home" version. You can copy the key from the PDF file they send you and then give it to whoever you're trading with. I've done this for trades in the past as well and got my codes generally within 10 minutes of purchase.

Sending an email gift card redeems the balance onto their account when they open it, there is no key involved.

Mass Effect (1 and 2) is $10 on Amazon here. Definitely a better deal than trying to trade for it on steam since you really have to overpay to get a tradable copy.

If I remember correctly, the Steam version originally ALSO listed Space Marine. A whole bunch of people bought it, and then they removed it from said bundle (including already purchased ones). Caused a bit of an uproar.

I'm not really keen on offering, was just wondering if you had a price in mind for some games I played a while ago when younger (I only have one of them on Steam). But if you've had it for a while, surely that means you want to move it on? :P
