Most Vitamin E oil is mixed with other things - i've used a ton of brands over the last decade of lobe stretching and the biggest difference i have noticed is that usually the stuff that comes in a bottle is thinner/easier to apply than breaking open the little capsules. I think right now i have this bottle

That said - if you are trying to heal scars (not earlobes) you might have better results with something like mederma or scargo. I was introduced to mederma because my aunt used it on her implant scars and she recommended it. Also taking vitamin e and zinc orally (whatever the daily recommend is) can help your body to build new cells and break down old ones...good luck.

Thanks! You're not going to believe this, but the box is from Amazon!!! I've been looking for the perfect jewelry box for YEARS and I found this box and gave it a try. I added balsa wood dividers (the glue is a bit wet in the photos still, the yellow bits will fade). The pumpkins are one of my favorite pairs, they are from Frozenfire on Etsy. He isn't taking custom orders anymore but he is still adding items to his shop, I expect he will add some more pumpkins and jack-o-lanterns around the fall.

I am only at 8mm, but work in an auto body shop that stays pretty chilly since we have garage doors opening and closing all day. I wear a Half Buff . It is thin enough that I don’t start sweating underneath it, but is able to keep my ears warm and wind doesn’t cut through either.

Edit to add- Yes they can be a bit pricey, but I like that they are versatile enough that I can wet them in the summer to keep me cool. So really they are a year round item for me.

There’s a middle size between 2g and 0g. It helped me A LOT.

Also, go very slow! I know it’s easy to get lost in the excitement but I wish you the very best and can’t wait to see your journey!

I don't want to plug a specific company, but I used screw-on back, surgical steel tunnels like these:

I had a wonderful experience with them, used the tape method to go between sizes and they don't fall out when you sleep. He's a ways off from the highest sizes, but right around 2g I switched to glass for the half sizes and it was easier on my ears.

Hey, dude! I just wanted to let you know you can get that exact kit from Amazon for a little cheaper!
Good luck! xoxo

i use something like this , but bigger and i can rearrange the slots to fit bigger plugs, and then make them smaller for my smaller jewelry.
if i can find the one i use i’ll try to post it, but tackle boxes and art supply cases will be your best bet

edit: fixed link

I got mine from amazon that had steel tunnels and tapers for around 25$ They go from about 16-0g. Its cheap and they work well. Do NOT get acrylic, stick with metals. Also make sure to go online and look at a stretching guide so you know how long in-between stretching as well as tips not to have a blowout. And for god sakes... PLEASE don't wear tapers as jewelry...

Storage option. Clear top and only one level so everything is easy to see. Its divided into 2" squares which makes it easier to grab things out than some of the smaller organizers.

They run out pretty quickly, so they may not have your size now but keep checking! They have great flash for their price!

Use bondage tape. Nothing is better. As for how much, Just put another loop around your 2g plugs whenever you feel like your ears are ready. My sister taped from 1g to 0g and it took 3 days.

That being said, you could also try and find some 1g jewelry online. It's a size that is becoming more and more popular and you could always stretch to 1g, then proceed to 0g.

Regardless of what method you pick, listening to your ears is the most important part.

You may be able to get some from your local piercer, but it is likely easier to find online. Amazon link provided of what I use. Please note it is not the cheapest stuff ever.

I used this one.

Pros - single flare steel tapers and tunnels, I haven’t had a reaction to anything.

Comes with acrylic, but don’t wear them until you’ve had a stretch for a while. I ended up with better jewelry that I like for the same reason as the acrylic, so I probably won’t ever wear them, but it’s nice to have. Some people can’t wear acrylic at all. They have the same thing without the acrylic.

Cons - they have a pretty deep indent for the o ring on the tunnels, you’re stuck with tunnels until goal size more or less. I had an issue getting my 2g tunnel in because of the indent, so I ended up buying different plugs. Hurt my ear because I’m stubborn and stupid.

I specifically got these because it looked like they have no o ring indent, they do, just to a lesser degree. Not all stone is ok to stretch with, but amethyst is a quartz which are not porous. They’re more pink than a deep purple.

Get 1g glass plugs at minimum, the jump from 2 to 0 is 2mm.

The best way is buying single flare glass plugs and dead stretching. Tapers aren’t jewelry and should only be used to help guide tunnels or plugs through.

Thanks! And I wish I could remember! I think these are the ones I bought. The balls havent fallen off yet and I've had them for several months. I think I bought the 8mm ones. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01CQQIIEU/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_Gc5PDb5VY94GE

I've been using these tackle boxes to hold my 1'' collection. I have a few of them to organize by plug type. They're cheap, size is great for inch plugs and can hold a lot of plugs. The dividers can be moved around to have each pair in their own spot. They're available at Wal-Mart as well so its convenient to get if you want them now instead of ordering.

Ruifan Unisex Pair 2 in 1 Stainless Steel Screw Fit Interchangeable Taper Plug Piercing Ear Tunnel Stretcher Expander 4G(5mm) Gauge https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07B2KS3SF/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_1H0qDb60641X1

These are the best.

u/SuperNovaNala · 1 pointr/Stretched

What size are you now? I'm sure they would look good. Here's the ones I ordered, variety of sizes as well

Edit: I don't know how to reddit

u/latenightrage · 1 pointr/Stretched

Good to know. This is what I bought. It says it stainless steel, so I think I'm probably good.

u/blalokjpg · 1 pointr/Stretched

Sorry for the late reply,I think I switched off inbox replies, but I basically got a stretching kit off Amazon. It probably isn't the best way to get into stretching, others will probably recommend better quality and methods but it was relatively inexpensive and I have had no problems with it so far!

Here is the link for the jewelry!

I've seen this recommended before on here.

u/tree_village · 5 pointsr/Stretched

No, use a stainless steel kit
http://www.amazon.com/Pieces-Stainless-Tunnel-Stretching-Stretcher/dp/B005PZPSC0/ref=sr_1_9?ie=UTF8&qid=1368486933&sr=8-9&keywords=ear+stretching+kit
I used a kit similar to that one and it worked great for me. Stretching with acrylic isn't terrible, but stainless steal is a lot safer.
