I wear these with an insole. In brown, maybe looking into a black pair.

It's one of the sequels. Comes from the same author as Go the F**k To Sleep.

Eye hooks should be workable..
Put the hook on the door frame and the eye on the door... even a fold out eye similar to a fold out boat cleat if the clearance is too tight...

a fancy hook

I had to call 911 last night for an elderly lady that fell in her room and couldn't get to the door. She had flipped the night latch (This Style) so we couldn't get the door open. Turns out the EMTs had never seen that type of night latch so the fire brigade had to be called as well. A police officer managed to get it open with a bit of wire after about 10 minutes of trying.

The fire fighters were pretty disappointed they didn't get to use their fancy shiny axes.

Based on about 3 years of traveling with a little one, most places that claim cribs actually have pack n plays.

Edit: And the others have this: https://www.amazon.com/Baby-Deluxe-Holiday-Folding-Metal/dp/B0017KHFD2/

Interestingly, the place we encountered the metal folding crib was the most inconvenient one to use such a thing - a big spread out resort where we rented a condo-style unit overlooking the golf course. They had to drive it over in one of those little utility trucks.

On the plus for those, nobody's going to steal one of those. It has to fold to fit through doorways, but it's damn unlikely to fit in anyone's trunk.

Something like this might work for you, to drown out whatever is going on with your white noise: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07J58Y8BB/ There are a lot of headphones now that are meant to be slept in.

If you’re in the US, that’s illegal. Someone pulled that on my husband and not only did we threaten to report him to the department of justice for violating ADA laws, we also complained to that guy’s manager the next day.

Carry some of [these cards](Service Dog Cards - 50 ADA Service Dog Information Cards State Your Rights - Service Dog ADA Info Cards state your legal rights - Give them to people that don't know your rights which allow you to bring your dog anywhere https://www.amazon.com/dp/B006OLNBKU/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_26oWDb1W1SMWS) with you when you travel. Most people are ignorant of the laws and it’s good to have a reminder handy.
