Sounds like a ton of effort but also fun. Especially teeth and gums are extremely impressive. The only thing I'd change is using painted glass balls (every toy store has some) as eyes and then socket them in milliput. To me the bigger ones seem too flat while eye is usualy spherical. Perhaps I'd cut them in half first to better fit in.

Still, once more, amazing job.

Never used Liquidex. Next time you're doing something similar - trapping colorised glow powder in transparent/clear epoxy casting resin gives off amazing results (glows in the dark). Imagine if teeth and eyes or purple tissue glowed in the dark. Who knows perhaps it would also work with transparent liquidex. ;)

Not sure what you mean by "Terraria format". C# is a language on its own.

As for resources, oh boy, there is a LOT out there, many are completely free.

My favorite book is probably: Pro C# 5.0 and the .NET 4.5 Framework

The best online resource is probably Microsoft's MSDN network.

Third, to tie all that into Terraria, it'd be best to visit their API reference page.

Hopefully that helps

I don’t use a laptop but I beilive that something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Dell-Inspiron-Touchscreen-Bluetooth-i5570-5364SLV-PUS/dp/B077T46GLP/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&linkCode=sl1&tag=laptopunderbudget-20&linkId=bec97acb618faeb69c49c5de476595ed
would work fine. Just find any laptop around that price range and it’ll most likely be fine.

However you could build a desktop if having a laptop isn’t a necessity. For $600 you can build a fairly respectable PC that will last several years.

Yeah. Would be great to see some more higher quality stuff on sale. The only ones I got so far is the plush bunny and corrupt bunny because only some of the plushies are really worth getting. The one OP posted though is honestly pretty shitty. It doesn't sit well with the art style of the game what so ever.

Thanks, but I have enough Steel Siberia v2 headsets for now -- I've given quite a few away to friends. :-)

I would suggest that, but holy fucking shit is it expensive in the UK

I love that head set since it works anywhere and it comes with its own USB soundcard that is friggen awesome

I got started with AI Techniques for Game Programming. Excellent book. PM me if you would like a PDF.

Hardmode coming soon, according to: http://terraria.gamepedia.com/Mobile_Version_History

According to the description:
> ON SALE FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER $1.99 (60% off $4.99). LIMITED TIME ONLY!

though I think there have been deals on the Amazon Appstore version in the past.

I still favor mouse and keyboard, but the amount of content (especially for a mobile game) is fairly impressive.

Actually I don't have enough money. Could someone please get it for me?
While you are at it could you also please get this?
And perhaps this?
And this?
This too?
Add this?
And finally this (twice).

Are you talking about this: https://www.amazon.com/505-Games-Terraria/dp/B00G6ZTM3Y ?

If so, I'm fairly certain that thing is considered "Old Gen" as well. (Also it's Amazon Fire TV, not prime. Just to avoid future confusion)

There's a lot of alternate controllers you could try. Something like this perhaps

u/Thistlebalm · 6 pointsr/Terraria

I found this after a short search, smallest one is 1/4". Or maybe you could make your own from the top of a pencil(the eraser end) and just make it square. Though that would probably get annoying removing any pumpkin that got stuck in it...

edit: These look like they may be even better.

The Ultimate Survival Handbook and the Crafting and Construction Handbook are planned for a November 1st release. I believe they'll release a Kindle version as well!

Remove the hard drive from the computer. After it's out, you can connect it to your computer either through SATA internally, or though a SATA to USB connector like this one.

WiiU version is $30 USD on Amazon.

As well as, Walmart and Gamestop.

u/Puritifyer · 1 pointr/Terraria

The Mobile version of the game is released by a different studio (505 Games) which earns no money when it is purchased on PC. The studio probably wouldn't make much off of Terraria sales considering how cheap the PC version goes often and they wouldn't even get a fraction of that money.

The Android version of the game is still free on the Amazon App store for a bit (I'm not sure how long to be specific) if you really aren't interested in paying for the Mobile version.

It's the Eye of Cthulhu toy made by Jazwares.

They've been available for a while (there was a whole line of toys at one time). You can find this particular one (and maybe a few others) on Amazon.

this isn't it?

I've noticed there's a lot of problems with fireTVs and terraria. I'm not sure if it's on the dev's end, or amazon's tho
