You should take /u/Helicopterrepairman's advice and check out r/flashlight to make sure you get a few awesome lights. You would be amazed what just $25-$75 can get you. This light would probably work out pretty well for you. There's plenty of options. Doing the exploring you're doing a few proper lights would be a HUGE help for you and it would really help your videos too.

I have zero personal experience with the Nitecore brand, but I have been told that they make a decent quality charger. I can't speak for any of their other products.

For cases, I'd recommend Case Star waterproof cases as they are the only ones I have personal experience with. I have had 2 of them for a few years, and am very satisfied with the purchase. They seal very well, and they are cheap. They do not fit super snugly though, so the batteries do rattle a bit in the case. I solved this problem by padding the insides with a square of self-adhesive foam tape on the inside of each lid.

Check out this book - it is pretty much the bible for single rope technique for caving.
