PLEASE, going forward, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE get a dashcam. Make sure it has low light capabilities and HD recording. doesnt need to be anything fancy. you can get a fancy one if you chose, but you dont need to.

THIS IS THE ONE I HAVE and it works AMAZING.

I had someone hit me and it made it so easy to get their insurance to pay for everything. even if you just tell them that you have a dashcam and not send them the footage, they will still pony up.

I am glad you are safe, and hopefully it doesnt take a toll on your insurance.

It's quite easy to install on your own, particularly speakers, which are literally plug and play. If you're you're looking for component speakers or adding more then perhaps the pros are the way to go. Adding an amp and sub are similarly easy. The hardest part is often finding the last screw holding a panel on. As for the head unit, all you have to do is connect matching color wires on the wiring harness and plug everything in.

I have installed or upgraded 3 car systems now, head units included, and have needed nothing more than YouTube, a screwdriver, electrical tape and zip ties. I had ZERO experience with electrical systems, and less with car audio equipment.

You can get a very nice audio system piecemeal for sub-$1000. Highly recommend pioneer, Alpine, kicker, Rockford fosgate, JL. I've personally had fantastic success with the Sony GS600BT head unit. I've bought 3 of them. Bluetooth, Pandora, USB, NFC, SiriusXM compatible, audio in, hands free mic. Best combination of features for what I need.

Just my $.02

Sounds good man!

What’s wrong with the engine itself?

Also I should probably look into my swaybars as well, I always forget about those and I’m sure they’re worn.

And the headlights on mine are aftermarket, clear Depo Black Diamond assemblies. They’re on Amazon for about $162. I bought them shortly after trying to fix the yellowing of the originals, sanding them down and refinishing them and what not, but that only did so much and they had cracks in them too, so I just bought new, clearer assemblies. They’re super easy to swap in as well. Just a couple 10mm bolts and obviously the plugs for the lights. They look so much better than OEM!

I would browse amazon and such and see what reviews state, like these:

http://www.amazon.com/Versachem-90180-Heavy-Duty-Fuel-Repair/dp/B002N5JAO2

http://www.amazon.com/Permatex-09101-Fuel-Tank-Repair/dp/B000ALDYIO

You can easily weed out the idiots of reviews that didn't follow directions or clean the surface and prep correctly, that does make all the difference.

I would hope you aren't inside the tank as you are under the car repairing, any repairs needed from inside I would highly recommend the replacement tank instead, but if you meant what else should you look for while under the car? You can always look at the gas tank strap and ensure it isn't damaged or screwed up in any way. Also if you do end up replacing the tank then get some undercoating spray in a can and after installed and tested then take the strap down, spray coating where the strap wass and while still wet replace strap, then coat the rest of the tank thoroughly, it makes a world of difference and helps bind the strap from moving as well.

Get a magnetic phone mount like this;

https://www.amazon.ca/iClever-ICH04-CaptureFit-Universal-Windshield/dp/B00M807UK8/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1464290205&sr=8-7&keywords=magnet+car+phone+holder

The base is magnetic and you just put magnet between your phone and case and it works perfectly. This is the best option because you can just grab it or put it on it super easily

Well, they sold the Soarer in Canada from Dealerships. So you should be able to just go to a dealership and buy a Badge.

Also Toyota IS Lexus. The Lexus Brand is just what Toyota calls their Luxury cars in the US. Same thing with Ford/Lincoln, Honda/Acura, Chevy/GMC, etc.

So while the Lexus badge might be a different size the mounting points will be the same since it started out with a Toyota badge.

I found a rear trunk badge. http://www.amazon.com/CHROME-TRUNK-BADGE-EMBLEM-TOYOTA/dp/B008LL3W5A/ref=sr_1_29?ie=UTF8&qid=1342770236&sr=8-29&keywords=Toyota+badge

But trying to find the front proved difficult. I managed to get a lot of hits for the Griffon Logo, but finding the Oval Logo was almost impossible. I would try the dealer to be honest with you. If they have it's probably overpriced, but at least you would have it.

These guys are in the states, but if they have what you want they'll be willing to ship I'm sure.

Good luck!

Get a double din head unit and install a backup camera. It will be a nice "wow" feature. I have an android head unit in my car with backup camera abilities and I love it. It makes parallel parking really easy because you're not so worried about hitting the car behind you. You will have to run two wires all the way to the back of the car and install a ground but it should not take you that long. Do not get the crappy license plate one if you can help it. Look into the ones that install like a factory one that require you to drill into the plastic above the license plate.

This is the one I have:

The head unit I have is no longer being made but here is a good recent one:

Not a RAV4 owner, but I do like to mount my smart phone from time to time. I use one of those mounts that clips on to your air vent, not this exact one that I linked below, but similar. It doesn't block my air vent too bad, keeps my phone cool and stays in place. I got mine off of eBay for like 3 bucks with free shipping - while feeling a bit cheap, it gets the job done. http://www.amazon.com/Belkin-Smartphones-including-Samsung-iPhones/dp/B00O5JARCI/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1449295131&sr=8-1&keywords=Belkin+Car+Vent+Mount

I have a 2008 Lexus Es 350 with projector headlights. I installed these bad boys and they commit a wonderful job at lighting up the road and I've gotten compliments from friends on how ridiculous it lights up the road.

Install them, adjust the leds to 9 by 3 like a clock and you'll be good to go. You might need to buy a new inverted dust cap, I had to get one for my Lexus. These LEDs appear pure 5000k white.

You will not blind oncoming traffic as long as your headlights are properly adjusted. Any questions I'll be happy to answer.

My baby.

Update :: Oops. Didn't see you already purchased new bulbs, sorry 🤷‍♂️

Could be a relay to make the 3rd brake light flash a few times and then hold steady when you apply the brakes. Some automakers are testing systems like this in the US. They're already pretty popular in Europe

Something like this: http://www.amazon.com/Vehicle-Flasher-Module-Universal-Motorcycles/dp/B00FADDOL4

Here's one in action: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P_ORq2XyfMQ

I use this flash drive in my Tundra and it works great. It easily holds all of my music and it's SUPER tiny. However, when Windows recognizes it you only have two options to format it in, exFAT and NTFS. Neither of these work with the Tundra's Entune system.

Here's the fix

Click on the picture to download the program, then format your USB drive to FAT32 using that program and bam, it should now work with Entune.

Keep in mind there are some pretty stupid restraints on file names, number of folders, etc. so it's best to just dump your music in there and let the Entune system detect the tags and sort it itself.

Not sure but look at your local home improvement store. Just make sure it works with your liftmaster model. The liftmaster remote is around 35 dollars. You can get it from amazon for 27 dollars, LiftMaster 893Max, https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00IA2RXUU/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_BqV2DbGNPZQKJ

I have been looking at a Kenwood unit myself, along with a Maestro adapter I can still use all the steering wheel controls and gain the ability to reset cel codes and monitor tire pressure. Apple CarPlay is just a bonus.

This one is a but more expensive but it has a second camera to mount on the rear windshield as well. Might come in handy for getting rear ended and it might even capture cell phone use and stuff like that
