Best mods for the money:

aFe High Flow/Reusable Filter - $83

TRD Airflow Accelerator - $25

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00P3FQ97A/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Stock Air Box Mod

Cheap version ($20) - https://www.tundras.com/threads/alternative-stock-air-box-mod-sabm-cheap.3428/Original version ($65) - http://tundrageeks.com/forum/showthread.php?t=8800

More info on the SABM with Dyno results: https://tundraheadquarters.com/toyota-tundra-sabm-kit-available/

Skip buying the cold air intakes by TRD, K&N, aFe & S&B. The stock intake IS a cold air intake. Doing the SABM gives you true cold air, the ability to use dry aFe reusable filters and sounds great. Plus, better acceleration & MPG.

And my #1 favorite mod:

BAMuffler Exhaust System.

http://www.bamufflers.com/

Keith of BAMufflers is running $75 off all orders and free shipping right now. If you're a veteran, he's offering an additional 40% off. You'll save a stupid amount of money as a vet -- way more than the group buy! If you can't decide what system you want, call Keith and he will ask you a very simple 3-5 questions and tell you *exactly* what will work for you. He's super friendly and has great customer service. The thing I like about these exhausts (besides the 10/10 sound and +10 HP with Dyno proof) is that they're specifically made for the Tundra. If you slap on any other system, you will lose low end torque. These are the only systems (that I know of) that actually let you gain low-end torque and a few horsey.

They have been amazing! Super easy to install and configure and they're super stable, they don't wiggle around in the wind

Just got back from a 40 day road trip and they worked very well.

Highly recommend

Here they are:

Only had it for three days, but I have plans.

  1. Switching out the cloth seats for leather in the next couple weeks. Doing this at the dealer.

  2. Adding a front camera via the FRAC harness. Considering this camera, but open for suggestions - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07H852D49/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_77WmDbEQ7CB8X

  3. Adding a couple usb outlets in the back - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07F84VVB4/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_Z9WmDb0HXGEXB

  4. Remote Start - but don’t know which one yet. Would like to be able to use the stock key/remote.

  5. Leveling - I’d like to level it, but tbh, I’ve never done it before and I’m worried about the downsides, impact to steering and safety sense, or going nose up, when I pull a trailer or carry a load. For normal driving though, I really like the leveled look.

  6. Gull wing truck box - don’t know which one yet.

Just getting started, so appreciate any suggestions or ideas. Can’t break the bank, but trying to add functionality. Love to add the supercharger, but $8K isn’t in the cards!😜

5100 shocks
This is the setup I got, stock springs fit. My alternator went out at about 175k miles. I get oil changed 4-5k miles. Timing belt water pump changed at 182k. Follow up with me on anything else you do I’m interested! We basically got the same truck.. see you at 200k miles 👌🏻👌🏻

I put them on all four corners on my 2010, fronts on the middle setting. Ordered this for the rear: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00DBS4OSC/. Bilstein says just reuse the bushings, but I felt better replacing them due to the age.

I've been happy with them; to be fair, the factory shocks were in bad shape so anything was going to be better. It looks better too. The rears were easy to do myself, the fronts are much tougher so I had a shop do that and the alignment you'll need. Labor installing the shocks was $250, I think.

Only issue I've had is the links on my front sway bar are apparently over-extended and pop now. I've been meaning to look into that.

it seems to have all good reviews, the ones from rock auto are pretty nice too, you also try to measure the opening and see if you could fit something like this, I have a 23 inch led bar between the fog lights and two square ones in my rear bumper, ill ask my sister to grab pictures for me as the truck is sitting at her house while i'm away.

Got them from Amazon because I couldn't find the link on the manufacturer website. The main difference is they have the halogen look but also add the LED U-Bar around the low and high beam. Also the amber LED turn signal. I love them and have gotten compliments on them in the last 2 days.

I've had these for about a year and I'm very happy with them. Not the same style as yours, but the Tyger brand is legitimate in my experience. Cheers.
