I've tried a few, they all turned our pretty well if memory serves. If you want more True Blood recipes, True Blood: Eats, Drink, and Bites from Bon Temps is really good, and has great photography to boot.

For enlightenment on the bodily processes of vampires, I recommend reading the Necroscope series. In my opinion, it handles it best out of any books I've read.

[True Blood cookbook!] (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Blood-Cookbook-Karen-Sommer-Shalett/dp/1452110867)

Doing some sort of shot into these might be appropriate. They're cheap enough and a bit of gold paint from craft store might be enough to glam it up.

After Dead

But that other book you read was supposed to be the final book in the series. It is in a way, because to me "After Dead" is only a book in the sense that it is a permanently bound collection of pages with words on them. More of an index than anything.
