Here's the link to the spreadsheet that ranks tsums based on their coin earnings: https://www.reddit.com/r/TsumTsum/comments/55gvtv/tsum_coin_ranking_list_october_2016_and_beyond/. It's really the best resource for deciding which of your tsums might be your best bet as a coin farmer.

I am very much not the best player out there, but I can tell you some things that help me boost my score.

  1. The device you're using can have a huge effect. Older devices that don't run the game as quickly will cause you to get a low score. I'm not saying go out and buy a new phone just to get a high score, haha! :-) But rather, don't judge yourself a bad player if you're not getting the same score as someone with a brand new phone.

  2. I found that I greatly improved by using a stylus with a fine point disc tip, like this one: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B019W92B74/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1.

  3. Score is also affected by the level of your individual tsums (not the Skill Level, but the tsum level). The higher the level of the tsums in each game, the better your overall score will be. And the only way to increase this is to play...a lot. It takes a while to get them all up to level 50.

  4. Some of the best high-scoring tsums I've seen mentioned are: Cinderella, Maleficent Dragon, Bee Pooh, Piglet, Conductor Mickey, Birthday Anna, Jasmine. Cinderella is by far the best, IF you are good with her skill. I am not! So for me, my best scorer is a SL6 Conductor Mickey. Before him, Jasmine was my best and she got me my first 10 million score (barely).

  5. Some people play with both hands...popping bubbles and activating the skill with the left hand and connecting tsums with the right hand. I am not ambidextrous enough to do this, but you could give it a try.

  6. Regarding when to pop bubbles, I think you're on the right track. If you're close to ending fever, save two or three to get back in quickly. Otherwise pop during fever. The one thing I'd add that I think can make a huge difference is to ALWAYS pop score bubbles during fever. It's my understanding that (during fever) the score bubble applies its bonus to your whole fever score. Whereas, outside of fever, the score bubble only gives a bonus to the tsums cleared when you pop it.

Sorry for the length; I kept thinking of things to add! :-) Good luck tsuming!

edit to add: One of the most important tips, and I forgot it! You may already know this, but you can quickly tap the tsum button when it's getting close to being ready to activate and this will use the skill but apply any extra MyTsums towards the next skill activation. So say you need 13 Jasmines for the skill and you've cleared 11 so you just need two more. If you clear a chain of 5 Jasmines and immediately start tapping the skill button before the 5-chain has completely cleared, it will use the skill and apply the extra 3 Jasmines towards the next activation. This helps keep you from "wasting" MyTsums and lets you use the skill more frequently.

Just a general tip for any character - keep a bubble or two handy so that when you've cleared several long chains in succession you can pop a bubble so it stops the animations and gets the new tsums to fall right away.

I used to use my finger to play and was really fast, but playing so much my finger tip was actually aching. I got a stylus and while it initially slowed me down a tiny bit, now I'm faster with a stylus and it keeps your swiping hand from obscuring the screen, so you can see and make matches even faster.

I bought this one from Amazon and it's super - very comfortable and the tip is great. I recommend getting the replacement tips so you have them on hand.

Sorry for the delayed response, its been a crazy couple of weeks. I hope the links work, I grabbed them from my recent orders page.

7-Inch Figurine, Clear - Holds about 8 nicely.

Clear Magazine Holder - I put my Holiday Tsums from Target on top of the boxed set and just slide it on top.

I have a set of these:

https://www.amazon.com/MEKO-Precision-Stylus-Bundle-Replaceable/dp/B00N1BRWLA/ref=pd_lpo_vtph_147_tr_t_3?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=J29Y715EPEWFGTF5E6EE

The mesh end works great, but the disk end is even better. The point is tiny and the disk is clear so you can see exactly where you're going. The two phones that I play with (LG Stylo 2 and LG G4) both react very well with it and my wife uses the same type with her S7 Edge.

Bought this recently and it's brilliant.

Not just for playing Tsum Tsum, but that's what I've been using for more often, especially on my coin farming sessions.

I don't know if this little tip will be useful (or even allowed), but I just wanted to share it.

Great purchase.

I have these! They're pretty cute and they found a fun way to work them into the rest of the Marvel universe. The four individual comics are still floating around and not too expensive on places like ebay. But they also collected them into a single paperback volume if anyone wants to just buy one book and get them all: https://www.amazon.com/Marvel-Tsum-Takeover-Jacob-Chabot/dp/1302902644

Then there are a whole bunch of "tsum tsum variant" covers like the ones u/elfmaiden687 found. These are regular Marvel comics with a special tsum themed cover. There's no tsums inside those books, but even then I got the Spider-Man one because it cracked me up: https://imgur.com/BD2MzXH

Sure! https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00K4NVS86/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i8UqzbXFZQEEA

This is what I ended up getting and I shared one with my boyfriend who also loves it. Nice rating, not too expensive for a 3 pack + replacements, and I looked through their reviews to see a few who recommended it for tsum tsums :)

The other one I considered was this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00N1BRWLA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_b-UqzbT4D9B9R It also had tsum tsum players in its reviews, but I've seen people on this Reddit with concerns that the disc could scratch your screen.

The stylus is definitely awkward to get used to at first and I'm going to look into a cheap rubber grip for the barrel but I don't think I'll ever go back to using my finger.

u/ColorFromTheSun · 1 pointr/TsumTsum

Ever since I picked up some of the cloth-tip stylus from The Friendly Swede, I can't go back to using my fingers on my phone. On my iPad I still use my fingers. Amazon link to the ones I got: http://amzn.com/B00E0GV9IC - They're great!

This is what I have at home for my tablets: https://www.amazon.com/Kastar-Swivel-Rotating-Tabletop-Collapsible/dp/B00Y1NGRM2/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=stand+360+for+tablet+pc&qid=1554608210&s=pc&sr=1-1

For a phone, though, I haven't shopped around. My phone for tsum is an old iphone 6 and I rarely use it to actually play the game.

I think the most important thing to do is to try something inexpensive and then find other means to give it support, rather than going for something expensive with the intent for the stand itself to give you the stability that you need. I support my stand with a depleted jug of laundry detergent that's filled with water. That's heavy enough.

I use this and I love it.

https://www.amazon.com/Dimples-Excel-Precision-Stylus-Hybrid/dp/B01B7X4HOS/ref=sr_1_2?s=wireless&ie=UTF8&qid=1473370847&sr=1-2&keywords=micro+stylus

I only use the micro/hybrid fiber tip. Which I love. And yes, it does help me get higher scores and higher coins (I actually asked about this in a thread a few months ago also). There are cheaper versions than the one I linked, I wanted two so I could give one to another person. (The precision plastic circle one doesn't work that great for me, personally).

This Sylus is better It glides on your screen like a beast! Its micro nit and never grabs your screen! I've tried it on iPhones 4,5, and 6. I have an Android and it works perfectly for all phones. $10.95 for two!

u/goldiesmith7 · 2 pointsr/TsumTsum

I've used a 7" tablet and a 5" screen. I prefer the 5" phone, but find that sometimes my finger is a little big. I like using a stylus I found at the dollar store. It is a slightly narrower stylus than the normal size. (https://www.amazon.com/Zebra-Stylus-Pen-Silver-33161/dp/B009ZMK33S/ref=cm_wl_huc_item)
I also feel that the narrow stylus allows me to move quickly instead of moving my hand.

u/Onceuponajoe · 1 pointr/TsumTsum

I've tried quite a few out over the past 2 years and this has been my favorite by far. Plus it is very affordable and doubles as a pen.

Fiber mesh tip stylus are AMAZING. They don't drag, don't scratch, and don't leave marks. Meko styluses are the brand for this, but are currently marked up for some reason. I JUST bought a pair with replacement tips for $15 2 weeks ago, so I'd wait a bit if you wanted this brand.

Non-mobile: I bought this one from Amazon
