I took most of these classes last semester so I might be able to help.

2100: I think the book will depend on the professor for this class, but mine was [this] (http://www.amazon.com/Data-Structures-Algorithms-Michael-Goodrich/dp/1118771338/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1425927129&sr=8-1&keywords=data+structures+and+algorithms+in+java) one. If you could avoid taking it with Huang I would, he's pretty bad and makes the class a lot more painful than it needs to be.

2300W: I'm assuming Keith Barker is going to be the only one teaching this class again, which is good because he is a very good and fair teacher. I don't remember what the book is but you don't really use it anyway so it doesn't matter.

2500: I am currently taking this class with Russell, but I think he's only teaching this class because they changed the format of the class. However if he is teaching it again next semester I would reccomend him, he's pretty good. [Here is the book we used for the first half of the semester.] (http://www.people.vcu.edu/~rhammack/BookOfProof/)

I just looked it up on Amazon and I couldn't find the single card edition, but I did find a dual card i7 edition laptop that's ~$1020. And there's also a link to an i5 if you want to save $75.

This is the best deal I could find on a dual card i7.

Here's the i5 edition.

A switch is the way to go. Wireless IMO isn't nearly as reliable as a wired connection. It's also theoretically a bit more secure too. A 5-port switch is useful at home, the dorm, or just about anywhere else. Here's a great example

Yes, we have this problem too.

My roommate bought a sponge mop with a wringer. Now we just wipe the floor and wring out the excess water. It works very well.

Kind of like this: http://www.amazon.com/Rubbermaid-Commercial-Sponge-Wringer-Lever/dp/B00002N60G/ref=pd_tcs_subst_hg_5?ie=UTF8&refRID=1VRY6KBC0G9H695NE7EQ

I've had a $200 chromebook for the past 4 years and it's still going strong. I use it for emails and stuff on the go, but can also remote in to my desktop with all my big boy applications. You'd also be able to use skybox on it. Would recommend.

Something like this I guess

A knife isn't allowed, but a couple of these https://www.amazon.com/Pentel-Graph-Gear-0-5mm-PG1015/dp/B0013NHU7O/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1511989836&sr=8-5&keywords=graphgear+1000

are probably equally effective for defense, and handy for using on exams or in class.

Joking aside, make an appointment with the dean of students office, and ask for advice. They might be able to speed up the process.

probably is. don't have it handy.

since you're learning data structures and algorithms in python, any general data structures and algorithm course should work; just implement them in python.

it's hard to suggest [a good resource] off the top of the head, that isn't a mere udemy shill or incredibly dense like stanford's algo course. grokking algorithms was okay, while people might suggest introduction to algorithms (but there's a reason why it's 1k pages and pure madness to "refresh" your knowledge).

doing projects (crash course, automate) would help to refresh using python.

Idk about this year, but last year's CLAS tassel looked just like these. Black, gold band around it and a charm with the full graduation year. It was the same in 2010 when my boyfriend graduated too, I think they stick with the same color scheme for tassels each year.

Not sure how invested you are, but the Wyze camera would do the job

Took micro (1201 with Johnson last semester and we used Microeconomics (Hubbard/O'Brien 6th Edition). Pretty sure that the macro class used the same publisher's macro book, also 6th edition: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/0134106229/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1483402014&sr=8-1&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=hubbard+obrien+6th&dpPl=1&dpID=41A3t9V8deL&ref=plSrch

You're also going to need MyEconLab. I bought my set from the UConn Bookstore

if you have $200 to drop (or $100 split between you and your roommate):

just hide it from your RA

my roommate had one all 3 years he was on campus and never got caught. it just looks like an intense fan if you throw some clothes over it.
