I have a few process pics if that'll help. Just a few though, I didn't take too many for this sculpture.

For smaller sculptures (such as this one, it's only about 4 inches tall) I usually just build the sculpture piece by piece but for larger sculptures I make an entire preliminary frame with aluminum wire twisted together (helps the clay latch on easier).

This is the first process pic I took. The body has a wad of aluminum foil shaped inside as well as the head. There's aluminum wire going through the head to the torso and coming out of both of the legs from the torso. For the face I used clay shapers to sculpt the features.

Monster kid sans! This is when I decided to make a base that has an aluminum mesh inside for stability. I used a conditioning machine meant for clay to roll out thin sheets of clay. It makes sculpting thin clothing SO much easier.

Here again I use the clay conditioner machine to make the hoodie. I used the conditioner to make the hood part too. I find cutting slices out of a flat sheet of clay makes it so much easier to control the clay and make things symmetrical. Zipper is the conditioner too. Everything is basically the conditioner. All hail the conditioner.

The final unpainted sculpture. Here I added the arms (which also have wires in them) and I did detail work on the clothing. I used a clay needle for the stitches and such. I textured the snow with a rough plastic brush. This piece isn't extremely textured, but for other textured sculptures you can find things around the house that can apply textures. For example, for scaly things I have a sea shell/coral that leave a scaly texture. Little details like that really add to the piece.

But really, if you don't have clay shapers or a clay conditioner I definitely recommend them. They make sculpting so much easier.

If you have any unanswered questions, don't hesitate to ask!

I am setting out to DIY something like this myself for my house after seeing this and let me tell you these types of fans are nearly impossible to find anymore!!! They're all enclosed fans these days but I found a series that looks similar if anybody wanted to do this themselves

If anybody can find something better let me know xD

I don't know if my paints, brushes or paper are just crap quality, but i can never get watercolours to blend like that so effortlessly! Water doesn't carry the pigments as much as i want it to, and it's kinda frustrating when i feel like doing a picture with more empty spaces than outlines and such.

Also yes white gel pens are the best! What kind are you using might i ask? I've currently got a couple of these hanging around to add that extra shimmer :D

Actually, I built him as an immobile mage carry, like Ryze. Assassins all have abilities which let them jump on people and move around: see also Ahri, LeBlanc, Zed, Master Yi, etc. ASGORE is a close range mage like Annie, Ryze, and Brand, and I designed him that way because at least 80% of his fight with you is him using fire magic attacks. Sure he looks juggernautish in model, but I decided to go more based on translating the gameplay, so that playing against ASGORE in lane and team fights would feel like fighting him in Undertale.

Thanks for the compliment on my design! I'm actually a professional game designer in real life, having worked on three Vampire: the Requiem books freelance (these three: 1, 2, 3), and released two games of my own (Bad Decisions, Kitsune: of Foxes and Fools), and currently working on some other projects, both freelance and of my own. So I think seriously about these exercises!

OP instructions for making a lapel pin:

  1. Get annoying dog (or any other) sprite.
  2. In your favourite photo editor, alter colors so that the part you want to have show up is solid black. (If the sprite you pick is complex, you can use shades of gray to denote detail: darker colors will be more pronounced)
*. ADVICE: The eyes on my dog came out a little small because 3d printing, consider making them larger on yours.
  3. Google Shapeways
  4. Go to the "Easy Creator Apps" section and find the "2d to 3d" app (or click: https://www.shapeways.com/creator/2dto3d/#landing)
  5. Upload your thing
  6. Make sure your thing looks right
  7. Buy a print of them. White plastic (perfect for Undertale) is like $3.
  8. Buy some tie tack backs: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B002QNPWNE/ref=yo_ii_img?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  9. Buy some e6000
  10. Wait in front of mailbox for several days
  11. COMBINE
  12. :D

It's pretty cool, the jaw moves and stuff. I would have made my own if I hadn't ran out of time, anyway here's a link to said mask http://www.amazon.com/Thumbs-Up-Mr-Fox-Mask/dp/B00MIUT5V0

I'd recommend at least two TITAN Z's (not the ones on sale, those are cheapo), and an i7 3770 with 8 2GB sticks of RAM. It also has to be water cooled, and run on a good monitor.

If you're crazy, though, you could install Windows on it.

(I kinda want to make a uselessly expensive PC build list, if you can tell.)

Not exactly, I used Ecolines , they are like diluted ink, they aren’t cheap, but if you use them correctly they can last for years; I had them for about a year or two and they are still full.
