It's really simple if you (at first) just ignore flavoring reviews, creating, and all that and look at top rated recipes on alltheflavors. Pick something that looks reasonably close to your usual preferences and it'll probably be a good fit.

From there, in terms of the mechanics, you're just clicking the "Mix" button and dripping stuff into a bottle until a scale reads around the number on ur screen.

You need:

Bottles (I use dropperbottles.com and buy 100 at a time)

Whatever flavorings go in the recipes you chose (bullcity and ecigexpress are good sources. Diyvaporsupply too)

Nic (I use Vapers Tek, which is good quality EU nic and not expensive)

VG/PG (Can use Essential Depot on Amazon if u aren't ordering from somewhere that sells base)

A scale that measures to the hundredth of the gram (a lot of people use the American Weigh Scales LB-501)

And you're done :)

Probably be good to include 30ml bottles so you can split up the nic. A small funnel would help with that. Put the nic you're not using in the freezer. Disposable gloves can be a good idea.

Nothing else I can think of that really makes it easier. I guess [condiment bottles like these](7-pack Plastic Squeeze Condiment Bottles - 16 Ounce with Red Tip Cap - Made in USA - Perfect for Ketchup, BBQ, Sauces, Syrup, Condiments, Dressings, Arts and Crafts - BPA-Free https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01HAWNA5M/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_gWVEDb927PWQC) for dispensing the VG/PG if you start out with bulk. Have to cut the tip around the second line for VG to flow.

You can buy packs of them from amazon like these or perhaps these. Just get ones that fit your tank. 21-22mm will usually stretch and fit well on bubble glass, for straight glass they'll stay but are too easily moved around, imo. So I'd look for something a bit smaller for that tank like these 18mm ones. The width of the band is also measured in mm, and thicker is almost always going to be better. I wouldn't bother with the super thin ones like the SMOK ones that are only 2-3mm tall, cuz they dont protect for crap unless you use a bunch. For reference, 6mm = 1/4", 12mm = 1/2".

Most online vape sites, surprisingly, don't sell them and when they do they're usually overpriced. Hence the Amazon links.

I haven't had this issue with vapor specifically, but the combination of two cats and occasional indoor smoke had us waking up congested and vacuuming/dusting all the time from the overall poor air quality. I picked up a HEPA type air filter which does an amazing job since it picks up anything 3 microns or bigger. It keeps our air clear and smelling fresh even while we vape heavily, so it may help you as well. It also does a great job of reducing dust and pet debris if that's a concern for you.

Does anyone have a reliable figure as to the size of vapor particles? That may help you see if this will work, since I believe most devices made specifically to clear vapor from the air work the same way.

This is the device we have:

I just ordered a similar set up and got it yesterday. I too felt lost. There is an awesome website that really helped me decide which flavors to order.
Still when I started a felt overwhelmed. I just rolled with it and it was nice and easy. Made some shake and bake grants custard. Amazing.
Not that I will be your best help, but I am only one step ahead of you. If you want any more help lmk.

I didn't order the starter kit from nicotine river because it was really buggy for some reason. So I ordered everything separately on there, minus the lab stuff. I found some great deals on Amazon w/ prime. And doing it this way gave me a lot more stuff for the money. I already had a scale although I didn't need it at all. When I get more comfortable I will start mixing by weight. So you don't need that.

My order on nicotine river was about $50 shipped.
All of this below came to $25 shipped.

Hey man, I would love to help you quit smoking and didn't notice the first time I commented that you didn't have any experience with vaping. So I'm going to try to put together a list here of what you need to do to start vaping for very little money.

  1. A mod. I am suggesting this mod because it is very simple and fairly cheap.

    https://www.vapordna.com/Joyetech-eGo-AIO-All-In-One-Starter-Kit-p/egoaio.htm

This is another option for you.

    https://www.vapordna.com/Eleaf-iCare-All-In-One-Ultra-Portable-System-p/icaref.htm

I love my Icare, but you will need to use high (24-36) mg ejuice with it, whereas with the ego you would need 12-24 mg/ml.

  2. Eliquid making basics.

OPTIONAL: flavoring. If you want flavoring just ask in a reply I'll let you know what to get based on your tastes, but it's not necessary and you're trying to go cheap.

This is the recipe for making flavorless, 12 mg juice.

    http://e-liquid-recipes.com/recipe/1240996/For+cheapos

You can make an account at that site and adapt that recipe to be higher or lower nicotine if you want.

I know this seems a lot more expensive than the Ryo cigarettes, but trust me, this makes like a year or two worth of liquid and the mods I suggested have really cheap coils. Please believe me, this is worth every penny of the investment, you will never regret it. If you need help with mixing your first batch of eliquid, go to r/diy_ejuice and look at the new mixer thread in the sidebar. If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask me, but comment it cause I don't get message notifications on my phone app.

I charged like that for a long time, pretty much until the shield came off. The same thing happened to my brother-in-law's Revenger X around the same time. I still charge using that port in a pinch so I'm not saying never do it.

Here's what convinced me though:

  1. You're not reversing the charge through the board which is just easier on it in the long run
  2. I can now check the battery condition between each swap. Before, I never checked the batteries due to laziness and "out of site out of mind"
  3. Instant full charge!! I didn't realize how much I would LOVE this! Now I don't have to leave it while it's charging...just swap the batteries and BAM...full charge.

I got the 2 extra batteries for $20 and I got the external charger for $20. Plus I can use the external charger as a power bank for my phone as an added bonus.

I'll try to get links for the charger and batteries added here.

Xtar PB2 (crap, it's like $5 cheaper now lol)

Thank you sorry I’m just now seeing this! The grip is actually just some pink leather I cut from amazon! Here’s the link! https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07QWQB5VN?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share and the wrap is from zap wraps! Super cheap and easy to apply 😊

I haven't tried it personally but this has great reviews via Amazon:

your local B&M "should" have them. i have used lots and Nitecore are by far the best out there and there a good price for peace of mind. Happy vaping!

Ditto on D2. You can get this one and it comes with a battery case for $1 more! I had an i2 and it worked great; gave it to a friend, now using the D2. Both worked and still work great.

It's definitely cheaper than my other hobbies, flight simming and photography. Diverting my attention to vaping actually ended up saving me a bunch of cash.

In fact... DON'T take up flight simming

You first need this OR this

Then you're all like, wtf? Why doesn't it look anything like this

Then you buy one of these and realize that FSX doesn't support hyper threading since it's a POS software from 2006 when Microsoft stopped developing it. So you actually need one of these, overclocked of course.

Then you need realistic controls, your keyboard and mouse just won't do so you get a cheap joystick which is ok for the first few months, till you come to the conclusion that what you really need is a HOTAS controller.

Which is about the time you buy TrackIR, which tracks your head movement for added "realism"

This is of course precisely when you realize that you would rather fly general aviation aircrafts, like Cessnas and Boeings and military aviation is just not right for you, and you get a different controller, something like this.

That lasts you all of two months before you're sick and tired of the plasticky build quality and erroneous "null" zone so you go and buy one of these.

Now that you're comfortable spending money on your "hobby" you get into serious money territory and go ahead and buy instrumentation. Your setup now looks something like this

By this time you would have spent roughly $5000 or more on hardware and a whole bunch of software plug-ins and add-ons, because FSX by itself it's pretty basic.

You're now completely committed and have dreams of being a real pilot, you start to think about how you will justify buying a properly kitted out sim and actually "charge" people money to come sim at your home. And you buy something like this which of course comes without a yoke which you have to buy separately. And then add an overhead panel.

By now you are running FSX on multiple fast computers and have connected your iPad and other devices to your setup.

There are folks who have spent many hundreds of thousands of dollars on this "hobby".

Stick to vaping. It's just a whole lot cheaper.

I've tried a few myself. I've settled for the giant bags of organic japanese cotton that you can get on Amazon. I dont notice a difference in taste. My wallet loves it too.

Edit: https://www.amazon.com/Selena-Organic-Cotton-Puff-200Pc/dp/B00N7E9YYO/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?keywords=puff+cotton&qid=1559191035&s=gateway&sr=8-3

This is what I use. I prefer the pads over the puffs. This is enough to last well over a year.
