It won't, because the casing of your laptop itself determines its own ambient temp, which will increase as your SoC's will increase as you play Warframe. Getting a laptop cooling pad isn't a huge financial investment, they cost like ~$20 on Amazon.

Edit: Plus, if you're going to college (which it sounds like you are), you can sign up for Amazon's 6 month Prime Student Membership which will give you 6 months of free 2-day shipping on Prime eligible items, which the link I gave you above is.

Steelseries Merc Stealth my friend. https://www.amazon.com/SteelSeries-Merc-Stealth-Gaming-Keyboard/dp/B00292OW1U

Best gaming keyboard I will ever use. The keyboard doesnt have the most modern features as it is 7 years old and was discontinued. But the ergonomics on the left are fantastic. My friends that play warframe say their pinky hurts from playing Warframe. I have no such issue.

I have slide rebound to shift, sprint/roll is alt, and transference is bound to a button on my mouse that my thumb rests on. I still need to use my pinky for slide but it's such a natural position for me that it doesn't get sore unless I play for 10 hours straight.
Edit: my mouse btw https://www.amazon.com/Zelotes-Button-Optical-Wired-Gaming/dp/B00IFRH6JS it's made from cheap materials but the extra buttons are helpful for nearly any game. Mines lasted 3 years and shows no signs of dying soon. Worth the $13 I paid for it.

Graphics card I bought

Love it, plays Warframe beautifully on my 144Hz monitor.

u/MidnightPagan · 5 pointsr/Warframe

Hey bud, I know its expensive but check these out.

You can customize the buttons any way you want!

I have 1-4 bound to the directional thumb stick so its just a flick of my thumb (which my thumb only has partial movement anyway - a pellet stove got one good lick in on me when we were fighting)

Razer Tartarus

Razer Orbweaver Chroma

I really can't imagine gaming without my Tartarus anymore. Even if I had full use of my hand.

This looks like you just looked at a reference image of Ash and drew what you saw. The character looks distorted, as a result, because you really shouldn't draw that way.

You should frame out the body parts, using simple placeholder shapes (mostly ovals) and study other images of the character to get the details. There are parts here where it would seem that the reference was too dark and you just kind of scribbled to show shadow where detail should actually exist.

Even if you are only a hobbyist, you should grab a copy of Figure Drawing for All It's Worth and actually use the principles in that book. It will help even simple sketches to look amazing, if you get it down.

We weren't meant to be copy machines. You'll be a much better artist if you get away from that.

My love,

Here is the link on the processor
https://www.amazon.com/Intel-i5-3550-Quad-Core-Processor-Cache/dp/B007SZ0EJW/ref=sr_1_1?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1484227716&sr=1-1&keywords=i5+3550k

For some reason i cant find the K version of it, but its some kinf of OC version, pretty old and not the most popular, it makes sense that amazon doesnt show it.

And this is the link on the RAM, 16GB + 1 4GB
https://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Vengeance-3000MHz-PC4-24000-Memory/dp/B0134EW7G8/ref=sr_1_3?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1484227792&sr=1-3&keywords=DDR4+ram

480gb SSDs are down to $100 these days, check out OCZ 150 series, they're pretty sweet. I have an Arc 100 and a Trion 100, some of my favorite toys. The 150s are even better. I know it doesn't solve the immediate issue of the missing files, but this is a longer term solution you could consider.

It's not ideal, but if you can scrounge up some change for a cheap hard drive, you can move some of your lesser-played games to it. Or just move Warfame to it by itself so it'll always have plenty of space.

You can easily get a small SSD for pretty cheap these days:

My settings are "only" 1920x1080 borderless windowed mode most settings on high, some maxed - not yet in the 2k or 4k range.

On this gaming laptop: https://www.amazon.com/Eluktronics-Pro-X-P650HS-G-Gamers-Laptop/dp/B01M0QV49X

But, I waited for upwards of 10 years to afford a dedicated gaming laptop, and oh BOY was it worth it. Plus there's a LOT of options now, so if you're in the lookout for gaming laptops, lemme know, I can recommend a couple.

I personally use the Corsair Scimitar. Its an awesome mouse, and doesn't feel giant (i'm a large dude with medium sized hands) not to heavy for me but doesn't come with weights to adjust it. the number pad is movable to your comfort level and the numbers are all programmable with the CUE software from corsair.

u/deliasharpalyce · 11 pointsr/Warframe

honestly, as someone who has carefully crafted her warframe (and all weapons, etc. matching) to be vaporwave blue and pink with obnoxious pink flames to the point where it looks like i've set one of those 90's swishy cups on fire after dunking it in barbie-brand pepto-bismol as i run past because this is the only instruction i have ever taken to heart for playing warframe

...if you ain't having fun with it, what's the point

it's fuckin video games, not doin your taxes

make it do the pretty colors, it is f i n e

get a back up power supply, it's saved me so many times I can't even count

https://www.amazon.com/Tripp-Lite-Line-Interactive-Protection-SMART1500LCDT/dp/B009TZTGWK/ref=sr_1_2?keywords=backup+psu&qid=1549971694&s=gateway&sr=8-2

they're not cheap, and you can probably find a less expensive one, but put your PC and your wifi and one monitor on it and it will literally save your warframe life

u/Kliuqard · 1 pointr/Warframe

I don't really know how to read computer specs efficiently to know the power behind them but I did find this.

Would you say it's a good one to get if I get the used one?

Otherwise, depending on your opinion I'll go to that subreddit and see if I can manage.

u/ViqTriana · 10 pointsr/Warframe

I can see that. I was thinking more like this lol.

u/ypmaws · 1 pointr/Warframe

Also look into sounds dampening. Honestly it's as simple as egg crate foam stapled to the walls.
May I suggest:
CAMERA: The Olympus TG-Tracker
RING LIGHT: Any cheap one
MICROPHONE: Marantz Professional MPM-1000
POP FILTER: Anything cheap
SOUND DAMPENING FOAM: Also cheap
RECORDING SOFTWARE: OBS
RICK ROLL: Rick Roll
