Drill the back, use a flexible scope to see if there's anything inside. It's worth nothing more than scrap value in its current condition anyway.

Grab a bunch of Saflips. They're archival quality and contain no chemicals that will harm your coins, like PVC. I store mine in slab boxes.

For your banknotes, I'd highly recommend one of these binders. It'll hold about 45 notes before it gets too full. I comes with 20 sleeves and you can buy refill packs of 10 sleeves.

If you want to try and fill a binder for each of your coin types, I would highly recommend Dansco albums.

Also, grab a copy of the 2017 Red Book. It's the standard coin guide for American coins. Also available on iBooks.

Looks like you already tried a hammer. Get one of these and drill a hole in the top.

Aww, crap. I read and thought of it wrong. I was thinking of Gordon Korman's book, "Swindle". It's a children's book that tells the story of a kid who found a valuable baseball card. When a collector gives him a few bucks for the card worth thousands, the kid has to go and steal it back. It's a pretty fun read.

The device on the right here is a parallel ruler. The idea is it slides perpendicular to the lines you draw, so that you can draw parallel lines. Like this.

Well, sort of, but a humidifier is generally used to humidify a whole room or something, and a humidor is specifically for keeping and/or aging cigars. Here's a good example of one. They can vary in size though. That's more on the small end, but I've seen whole rooms rigged as humidors.

There's a common type of chair that has these as the end cap to their raise/lower and recline/lock lever. And its real easy to unscrew them accidentally. Sorta looks like these but not these, can't find a link.

Its a lock for the port, needs a special type of key to pull it out.

Pretty simple to defeat but slows someone down.

$20 carbide drill bit + $17 endoscope and then you'll then know if its worth the effort to get inside.

The sides are divide by parts of the inch. In your picture, the top is tenths of an inch; the bottom is 50ths of an inch. the other sides will say 20 30 40 and 60. This was made sometime before the marks were changed after German reunification in 1990. When the marks changed depends on the company. Source: I have both the engineer and architect scales from Staedtler from around 1991 and they are marked W. Germany. See a similar item here

Well there's this, but I don't think the DNA would last long.

Ammo can but seal the stuff on the inside in a mylar bag with oxygen absorbers (you can also use the blue at litter its the same thing in them as other dissicants). You can find various sizes relatively inexpensively on Amazonhttp://www.amazon.com/10-OxyFree-Absorbers-Freshness-Dehydrated/dp/B001Y0Y8C6

Apparently.

This pyrite is selling for $4.95 for 2 ounces, which is $39.60/lb. Go to any metal recycling facility and try to get $39.60/lb for anything.

I think it is a mini green screen for doing video effects and a camera tripod or a tripod for holding that screen up.
