Yeah Einstein, that's why some of the folks I'm relating to won Nobel Prizes and you are academically jerking off typing here on Reddit et al.! Btw. even your own "Debunking" table that you posted shows China as Nr. 6 on IQ and only 1,374 $ income, just as I mentioned before and the other high income countries accordingly. Studies vary slightly but even yours proves again the high correlation between higher IQ x higher income. And regarding Israel and the topic of ethnicity among them read below.

ASHKENAZI  JEWS**: Unlike the “average” Jew in Israel whose IQ is given above as 94, the Ashkenazi Jew is said to have an average IQ of 110-115, sometimes as high as 117. This is 10 points above the Hong Kong Chinese (107), 20 points above the Canadians (97), 30 points above the Mexicans (87), and 50 points above the Nigerians (67).

>
“The 2005 paper “Natural History of Ashkenazi Intelligence” by [Cochran](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gregory_Cochran), Hardy, and [Harpending](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Henry_Harpending), argued on the basis of inherited diseases and the peculiar economic situation of Ashkenazi Jews in [medieval Europe](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Middle_Ages), that Ashkenazi Jews as a group now inherit a cognitive profile that includes higher [verbal](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Verbal_intelligence) and [mathematical](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mathematical) intelligence than other ethnic groups, along with lower [spatial intelligence](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spatial_intelligence).
One observational basis for inferring that Ashkenazi Jews have high intelligence is their prevalance in intellectually demanding fields. From 1901–2010, 21.5% of Nobel prize winners were Jewish, while Jews make up a much smaller fraction of the population of the countries represented. For example, 36% of Nobel prize winners from the [United States](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States) have been Jewish, while Jews make up 2.1% of the U.S. population.
G. Cochran, J. Hardy and H. Harpending additionally cite the disproportionately high percentage of [Ashkenazi Chess Grandmasters](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Jewish_chess_players) and [Fields Medalists](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fields_Medal) in mathematics, as well as winners of the [Turing Award](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Turing_Award) in computer science.
Their median IQ is calculated at 117 in [From Chance to Choice: Genetics and Justice](https://www.amazon.com/Chance-Choice-Genetics-Justice/dp/0521660017) (2000), published by Cambridge University Press. This is 10 points higher than the generally-accepted IQ of their closest rivals—Northeast Asians—and almost 20% higher than the global average.”**

His “Smile” w/ Pac posthumously is a favorite of mine, and I know him from Geto Boys’ “G-Code” (almost an of course in the hip hop genre), but he’s definitely a rapper with whom I need to spend more time. I was born early 90s and didn’t find my love for hip hop till I was about 13 or 14, so there’s a big gap I’m consistently chipping away at bridging (for instance, just started giving Gang Starr its due [beyond knowing some of their classics]).

Just listened to “Girl You Know”—love the sample & the breaks & the prowling beat, and Scarface’s lyricism & flow are tight as all hell. Definitely going to delve into his stuff more. Thanks for the rec, & yeah this jam could auto-play every time we drop into this sub lol.

I found and bought a book called The Anthology of Rap in a used bookstore, which takes standout lyricists as well as iconic MCs of all the eras up to when the book was published and has at least a couple of each artist’s songs’ lyrics to be examined like poetry. It’s one of my prized possessions. Would highly recommend for anyone generally interested in hip hop. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/0300141912/ref=tmm_pap_title_0?ie=UTF8&qid=&sr=

Thanks again for the rec my G.

The surprisingly interesting book Everything But the Coffee said that Starbucks' biggest home-run was their Frappuccino, combined with their ad campaign telling women they deserved one as a treat for themselves. So instead of "hey, please buy our sugary drink--you'll like it" their big insight was to tell women to buy it as an affirmation that they were worth it. Which I guess ties back to the old L'Oréal ad campaign as well.

This always makes me think of one of the most eye opening books on coaching football I have ever read: The Hidden Game of Football. The authors analyzed the statistics of more than four thousand professional football games and discovered some harsh truths. For example, going for it on 4th and 3 or less is worth 2.4 points statistically per game. Punting in the same situation is only worth 1.6 points. Therefore it makes sense to always go for it in that situation as the cost of not getting a first down is outweighed by the reward for doing so successfully.

Along with that, one statistic they presented was that coaches who bring newly drafted quarterbacks along slowly lose games and those quarterbacks are almost never worth the time and energy put into their development. New quarterbacks who will become franchise players (Brady, Montana, Marino, Elway, etc) Are generally on grass within five games of their entry to the league. If they are not capable of leading the team after that, they should be traded for draft picks.

To translate: maturity is a myth in professional football. Either a player can play from the outset or they can’t. Statistically speaking, if they can’t, cut them after five games and move on.

Same with women. If she can’t hit the seam and read the zone blitz by game five, cut her ass for draft picks.

If your degree ends in "A" (Arts: BA, MA) it is worthless.
If your degree ends in "S" (Science: BS, MS) it is valuable. Likely pays $$$ well.
