Yeah I’m not a fan of teaching by discipline. My dogs actually have 3 different leads for walks, because things work for different types of dogs.

I’ve got one on a Gentle Leader. It’s pain free, and easy to use. The only downside was it rubbed the hair off one of my dogs, so we had to switch what he was on.

PetSafe Gentle Leader Head Collar with Training DVD, LARGE 60-130 LBS., BLACK https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00074L4W2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_ArVJBbSYWZN8K

I’ve got another one on the Holy leader. For some reason he was able to just power through the gentle leader like it wasn’t even on, but the Holt seems to work as intended. Same concept of forcing the dog to turn and look at you if he pulls.

He third dog, the one who has his hair rubbed off, is on the RabitGoo harness. It has a leash attachment in the front, to prevent pulling, a handle to grab onto if needed, and a back leash attachment. They run a little big, so if he borders between sizes get the smaller one.

I also highly recommend the Primal Pet Gear training leash too. It’s easy on the hands and fits perfectly when my dogs are by my side. My dogs are bigger though, so I’m not sure if that makes a difference.

I’ll look for my notes and post!

I don’t know where the other poster pulled 3600 from, but I still agree with his main argument that parking shouldn’t be subsidized as it’s ridiculously expensive to construct and takes up too much space in our urban areas. If your interested in the topic, there’s plenty of literature on it.

My friends run a great site called Put a Cup in It. They built an awesome quiz to help anyone who menstruates to find the best cup for their needs.

I’m 40 and I’ve had two babies and this is my go-to. It was designed in a partnership with the PACII ladies!

> Is your current assessment seriously that “people always vote for the most reasonable and prepared candidate but the parties just won’t put them out?”

Nope, I pretty much agree 100% with what you said. I would agree with the notion that the parties won't put out their "best" candidates, but it's not like I would expect the populace to vote for a candidate based on his/her merit anyway.

I've just started mixing Soylent with coffee for breakfast when I get up, the when I feel like it during the day at work. It's basically a hyper-nutritious mocha at that point that gives me everything I need.

Now I'll periodically make delicious complicated dishes when I feel like it, but the complete freedom to not have to really helps.

Why, you're more than welcome to point me in the "right" direction, since you're arguably feeling quite certain of yourself. Do be careful to provide reliable sources, though! :)

Incidentally, have you read "Days of Rage" by Bryan Burrough? It certainly doesn't reveal a particularly plesant modern history of the american left, to be sure.

For any one who likes West World and dense philosophy texts -- Jaynes wrote an interesting theory on how humans "evolved" the inner monologue: http://www.julianjaynes.org/julian-jaynes-theory-overview.php His book is great, but not for the faint of heart.

I am Mexican and learned English at the age of 7 i came from Mexico at that age and joined elementary. I was the only one in my class who didn’t speak English, so the teacher would always put me in a corner listening to English lessons thru a similar CD player like this she would spend some time with me making me repeat as much as I could.

During recess a Spanish speaking kid came up to me and began talking to me, we became close friends and introduced me to other friends of his, I wouldn’t really speak because i didn’t know but i would listen to them speak, for about 2 months of being in the corner and listening to my friends speak i began to understand more and more. Finally after 3 1/2 months my teacher gave me a test to see if I completely understood English. I passed it with an almost perfect score. The day after my test the teacher announced it to the whole class that I finally learned and they all clapped for me. It was a life changing moment for me.

I guess you can say if you are put in a situation where you NEED to learn no matter what, you will learn that language.

> All of that said, you can get small prep bowls and tiny dishes relatively cheap

I picked up four glass bowls similar to what they use for the smaller items for a buck at I think Dollar Tree awhile back. Not just relatively cheap but cheap cheap.

edit: They look pretty much identical to these. Incidentally they work great for board game night to organize little pieces, especially if you need to grab them frequently.

Perhaps you should consider becoming one, or at least a hobbyist. Or a symbologist. I'm highly interested in these types of things as well. Having a natural affinity for observing such things may well lead to the discovery of a new or latent passion.

Opportunity.

Nope, there's not. The money you have in your wallet is someone else's IOU. If all debts were paid back currency would cease to exist.

It's a complicated concept, but basically the banks are allowed to create money any time they issue a loan. The idea is summed up well by Robert Hemphill, a former credit manager of the Federal Reserve.

>If all the bank loans were paid, no one could have a bank deposit, and there would not be a dollar of coin or currency in circulation. This is a staggering thought. We are completely dependent on the commercial banks. Someone has to borrow every dollar we have in circulation, cash, or credit. If the banks create ample synthetic money we are prosperous; if not, we starve. We are absolutely without a permanent money system. When one gets a complete grasp of the picture, the tragic absurdity of our hopeless situation is almost incredible — but there it is.3

I'm an adult woman with small feet and as such can wear kid shoes. Last night I was wearing my light up unicorn high tops (like these ones but in grey) . As I walked by a family I heard the little girl gasp to her mom, "Is that a grown up wearing light up shoes?!" Well first of all I resent your assumption that I'm grown up, but yes, I am living the dream.

You should take a skim through Donald Shoup's The High Cost of Free Parking, and give a Google to "induced demand." It becomes clearer what the operating theory is.
