I'm not a pro, but just give it a wash to see, shampoo/conditioner follow the directions on the bottle/directions or your wig on how to wash if it came with any.
You'll be able to tell the difference when it's conditioned, then you'll know what it looks like after its washed. For mine, I feel like the hair eventually gets kinda clumpy, and not as soft. It's synthetic, It starts to happen depending on how dirty it gets. Usually have to wash mine after like 5-7 wears, that's my preference though. I like how it looks when it's freshly conditioned, so I may be over washing it.

Also that aside, try lowering the hairline just a bitttt I feel. See how that looks. It's hard to posistion properly at first because we haven't had hair in a long time and you're probably used to the receeded hairline (depending on why you wear a wig) I have MPB so when I first started wearing my wig, I wore it a bit too high because I was just used to my hairline being raised. I kinda forgot where my natural hairline was haha. Overtime I feel like I just got used to it and lowered the wig hairline a bit. I could be wrong though. Wear it however makes you feel good, however you like it. :)

for reference, I tend to add spikes and stuff to it, I'll get a spray bottle with water and mist it a bit, and then I have this comb with a spike end on it. I use that to 'piece' the hair, gently, and twist the ends, just gives it some texture, (nothing wrong with using your fingers though, just find it a bit harder) and you can see where I place the hairline. Our heads are different of course, but hope this helps! Check amazon for some 'wig' combs, they have to be wig combs, so they don't rip the hairs out.

Hope that helps dude!

This is a human hair (remy) wig from amazon. Link. I actually ordered the longer style and I think they sent me the shorter one. It's not lace front - I thought it would be and it would have been my first one of that, too, so I'm a little disappointed. But after a bad haircut, I haven't been able to leave the house, so I got this so I could feel more confident when school starts. I went to a family event yesterday right after it came in the mail, and some people didn't know it was a wig - it took my mom a minute to realize it wasn't my hair. The hair is very soft and was easy to fluff out. The wig came with a bit of bangs but I cut them to be full straight bangs. Since the volume at the root is a little incongruent with my ethnicity (ash kenazi jewish) I found that pinning a bit down in the back or wearing a headband made this wig look more natural. There was also one curl clump coming straight out of the center top that made the volume look ridiculous so I straight up just cut it off. Honestly I didn't feel the need to pluck at all... I started pulling a little bit out at the hairline but realized it didn't matter with bangs. The part is sort of a circular center in the top of my head, so if you like to have a certain part this might not be for you but I think I'll usually cover that up with a headband or a small half bun.

I was very comfortable and confident in this all day yesterday, and I feel a lot more brave about going out now.

Idk if filters are allowed but I used the gingham instagram filter on this photo. The color is soft black, which I often dye my hair to.

That looks really nice on you! I suggest pulling it down a little more. It should sit at the top of your pointer finger if you put your pinky finger at the bridge of your nose.

Have you tried it with a wig grip? I find I feel more comfortable and secure when I wear a wig grip under my wigs. They are pretty cheap on Amazon. Search on YouTube on how to make a wig smaller/tighter. There are lots of tutorials that show you how to make them feel more secure.

Also, Amazon has some really nice, inexpensive wigs. I have an "It's a Wig" Konis or Justine that's really nice for $30.

This one looks similar to your picture and has good reviews.

This Amazon wig has great reviews and pictures from many women that have used them in their weddings as well. Congratulations and best of luck on your wedding. ❤️❤️❤️

I wear this one a lot. It doesn’t look like much in the pictures but I love it! It’s super light and natural looking.

Yes. Emmor Short Blonde Human Hair... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07KNHVBRF?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share. The photo in amazon isnt what if actually looks like but it can be styled several ways, it's very versatile. I have a small head so I thinned mine quite a bit so I wouldn't drown in hair but it may be perfect for anyone else. It really is great right out of the box.

I worry about Instagram cause people can delete negative reviews or comments and a lot of people advertise something because they got it for free.

I use Amazon. I just stick to the ones that have pics in their customer reviews. Even if a Wig is shit, you can work on it to make it better. Google YouTube videos that show you how to improve your wigs.

I only wear wigs occasionally so I don’t sew in or glue them down. I don’t need one to last for months at a time and stand up to washing but your needs might be different.

I ordered this $30 synthetic lacefront short bob. I wasn’t expecting much but was pleasantly surprised with the Bobbi Boss Wigs brand and will order more from them.

I also ordered this a $40 long curly lacefront by Joedir. I need to pluck the hairline but It was worth the money based on the length .

Both looked like the picture.

You might hate me for this but it’s from amazon. I liked K’ryssma wig’s Facebook page (the amazon seller) a while back and they made a separate “free wig” give away page that was active for about a month. They said they are done for now but if they do any more give aways in the future it will be on that page so might be worth joining! here’s the link if that’s what you wanted

most wigs should have a band inside of them that will attach to the back from your head. There is also no slip wig headbands on amazon. you can also sew in your own band if it doesnt already have. Tons of videos on YT. You can wash your synthetic wig with synthetic shampoo and conditioner or add some dry shampoo. Also pluck evenly the front as well as add concelar on the part (again TONS of YT videos)! my trick I have found is (on amazon) spray Nunaat Naat Brazilian Keratin Liquid Keratin Leave In Reconstructor on to the hair and then flat iron. Makes synthetic hair feel "real" but important to section, spray and iron very time consuming but worth it!!

Good Luck on your fight!

This was my first one:

K'ryssma #350 Body Wave Half Hand Tied Lace Front Wigs Heat Resistant Copper Red Long Synthetic Hair Wig 18 Inches https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00VUD3HBU/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_9h.MDbP1PM6B5

I’ve had really good luck with Kryssma wigs.

Have you considered something like this to dry them? I just bought a bunch of them for storage purposes and am pretty impressed. They're much sturdier than I expected and really hold the shape well. I have some of the freestanding ones similar to this that I'm not crazy about. They're rather flimsy and unstable - but these are terrific. Might be an option to look into.

Hope that works! I plan on restyling it and pulling out baby hairs - the roots are a bit too dark for me but I like it anyways :)

Pink Wig: PINK WIG

Platinum Wig: (Khaleesi): KHALEESI WIG

Red Wig: RED WIG

Short Bob Wig: NATURAL BOB WIG

Brunette Bangs Wig: purchased years ago- link not available. Similar types on amazon however.

Y’all I started wearing wigs for my occasional avant garde modeling photoshoots and then progressed to wearing them whenever I felt I needed a change. There are so many affordable options that can be revamped to look more expensive and realistic so I encourage everyone to check amazon out. I ALWAYS check the review section before purchasing to see customer photos of their wigs. That’s a good litmus test to see quality. 😉

I got it from Amazon! It's surprisingly cheap. Very soft and almost like real hair. Sheds a bit and smells kinda chemical-y but the smell has been fading. I'd totally add a review on Amazon if I could, but it won't let me review things for some reason.

Here's the link if you wanna get it.
