As others have mentioned, there really isn't much of a reason to buy an MMO specific mouse for Wildstar considering the limited action set. Assuming you mostly play MMOs and that a laser mouse will suffice (optical mice are objectively better for gaming), I would take a look at the Roccat Kone XTD - fantastic build quality and it has a tilt wheel in addition to the usual 5 buttons (including left and right click), and the software is excellent. I've used the XTD for months and it's been great the whole time.
If you also play FPS games, I'd stick with a good optical mouse such as the Mionix Avior or Naos 7000, Corsair M45, or Deathadder. The Corsair M45 is also one of Amazon's daily deals today for $40 - today only! http://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Raptor-M45-5000-Optical-M45/dp/B00IDWFN4U
I'm using the Nostromo, having purchased it earlier in Beta for use in WildStar. I picked the Nostromo for the mouse wheel and d-pad/joystick.
I removed the stick and use the d-pad for quick-tap movements and strafing, while using the mouse for the rest of my movement, including auto-run mapping to a mouse button.
I remapped the wheel to be V forward, and F back, easing the vacuuming of loot and spamming of F. I press the wheel for G. (My actual mouse wheel remains the default zoom, as I like to zoom in and out often.)
I use the buttons above and below the d-pad for sprint and jump, though I am rethinking that as it's slightly awkward to do both. I honestly don't use forward on the d-pad much, so I may try mapping that to sprint... (EDIT: While reading my own post, I realized that I need to try auto-run above the d-pad, and sprint on the mouse. So obvious to me now!)
So far I only have abilities mapped to the macro keys, and I have keys to spare.
Previous to gaming with this I've been using an old Merc Stealth keyboard. I'm addicted to having a pleasant comfortable layout for my left hand instead of a cramped standard WSAD. Now that I'm used to the Nostromo, I'm about ready to look for a small keyboard replacement.
While I've had my eye on gamepads like the Nostromo for a while, I honestly probably would have stuck with the Merc for years longer if not for WildStar's unique needs.
If you like Logitech have you looked at the G602? It's technically a MOBA mouse so a lot of people don't mention it, but with the LAS in Wildstar I think that may be a good thing. Doesn't have quite as many buttons as the Naga or G600 so you're less likely to hit the wrong button.
I bought one recently mostly for use in Wildstar and I love it. I have the two buttons on top bound to 1 and 2, then 3-8 are the 6 thumb buttons. Makes it so I never need to take my fingers off WASD while fighting. I pair it with a G13 keyboard and macro a couple secondary action bar buttons to keys around my movement keys.
Highly, highly recommend it unless you really want 12 thumb keys. Most comfortable mouse I've used.
Logitech G500, I used a few mouses but I just love this one even have a back up. It just works for me, I suggest finding a mouse you like and getting comfortable with it.

Step 1: buy from NCSoft
or from Amazon
Step 2: Use that 30 days to level up and enjoy the game, hit 50 and make/earn 10+ platinum and buy yourself some CREDD (current market price ~10Plat.)
There are many groups out there imo. Find yourself a guild or a group. Tbh, you'll probably be playing with only a handful of people in the beginner zones...but it's getting better. New blood is always coming in. You're probably concerned about the amount of players, but if you sub, you'll be helping your own cause.
Good Luck
Yeah, but the Razer Naga mice are too light for me. I prefer a heavy mouse, though. I usually use all the heaviest (4.5g * 6 for my current mouse) nodes on the adjustable weight mice. I currently have a Logitech G500s and I like it quite a bit. Unfortunately, I bought it like two weeks before they dropped the G502s which I think I would have liked better. You will typically get higher polling rates on wired mice, but don't avoid wireless mice just because they are wireless. The tech is up to the point where there is not really a discernible increase in response time (assuming normal condition, and you aren't using the mouse from across the house with 16 microwaves being used at once.)
Steelseries 6gv2
Very simple but extremely good quality mechanical keyboard, and not too expensive. It's definitely not designed for MMO's (imo, its not even specifically for gaming, even though they call it "gaming keyboard"), but that doesn't mean it's bad, I can really do everything fine. The only downside is that it doesn't have macro keys, which is not a problem for me personally because i have never used them on my old Logitech keyboard anyways.
This has honestly been one of the best gaming keyboards that I have used. I just bought the backlight Stealth to replace my 7 year old Merc board that had bubbles, soda, tobacco (I've since quit), etc all in it and it still worked.
My left strafing key Q kept getting stuck on the old board, so I decided to retire it in favor of the Stealth (backlit) model. It has two USB hubs, headphone and mic jack right on the board, media controls and brightness and changing color buttons.
Slight sidetrack. I was looking at getting the G600 as well, had the Naga before but didn't like it. Came across the UtechSmart Venus MMO Gaming mouse whilst searching, reviews look pretty good. Anyone tried it, if so, what do you think?
Uff, you both have suboptimal setups for playing 2015 Games.
For your Sisters Comp:
The GPU needs to be updated.
For Wildstar only I'd reccomend to get a Nvidia GTX 750 Ti or higher.
(Don't expect to go high in the settings with this card tho)
http://www.amazon.com/EVGA-GeForce-Dual-Link-Graphics-02G-P4-3751-KR/dp/B00IDG3PRI/ref=sr_1_1?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1450163566&sr=1-1&keywords=gtx+750+ti
This one does pretty much all games in Medium-High Settings nowadays:
http://www.amazon.com/MSI-GTX-960-GAMING-4G/dp/B00V4HY522/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1450163108&sr=8-1&keywords=nvidia+960+4g
Before you get a new card, check if the power supply can handle a bigger card.
You should also update to Windows 10 and make sure all Drivers are up to date aswell. (Chipset, Graphics)
If you want to play other Games with high Frames, you should get over to /r/buildapc and let them build 2 from scratch.
The Anker is, and definitely feels like a step down from the g700, but for the money I'd be ok if it got the double click of death at 6 months. It definitely took some getting used to.
Before I got the Anker, I tried the Corsair Vengeance M65 mouse, which I absolutely loved the feel and weight of but I'm an old fashioned mouse gripper from back when mice didn't have scroll wheels and use the "claw" grip as opposed to the palm grip where your middle finger is on the scroll wheel. That mouse is just a tad bit wider and it was painful for me to use. I would highly recommend trying that mouse before the Anker because it's much more sturdier.
It's still £4.85 at Amazon Played about 550 hours last i checked and loved it. Of course it's a personal preference if you like it or not. But at that price it's not like it's a huge investment.
lol okay. I enjoy it because it's a thing, not because there is a carrot on the end of a stick for me.
might I suggest:

You should be able to get a basic gaming keyboard with this functionality for $20-30. And yes, I believe anti-ghosting is the more commonly used term.
This is probably a good choice for your budget:

I always like mouse pads with maps on them. Maybe a big fabric one like steel series make with the world map dyed into it.
It looks like you can get it on Amazon for $20 still, which is the lowest I've seen. This sale was somewhat recent as well, so I would be surprised if it went significantly lower.
The 30 day sub item is (IMO) easily obtainable within a month or two of playing.
As far as I can tell this link still seems to be good, though I don't know much about amazon.

You should be able to run, but upgrades can't hurt.
As someone who owns a g600 (bought it FOR W*) I cannot reccomend it enough and it is worth the money. Having said that there are cheaper mmo mice. I nearly bought this one before the g600 went on sale last month
Amazon Prime has it for $15.84
