I know it's not digital, but once you get used to reading it, you will get much better results. No batteries to fuss with and it does dual measurements. I absolutely love the accuracy of this caliper.

You can never have enough bits, i would go for the 60 degree bit because it gives a nice beveled edge. but why not both?
invest also in some cable-management, i used these but inventables also caries a differten kind, but i did'nt like those as much.
you also might want to get some files and sandpaper for finishing your projects and a good knife for cutting out your parts,

There is no substitute. Thin, rock solid holding requiring very little tape, and easy release with no clean-up. Pricey though. but awesome.

I have (regular access to) an X-Carve and own a Silhouette Cameo. The sticky mats for the Silhouette (https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B005VPVW3I) work well for card stock, but would be awfully expensive to shred through on a CNC unless you're using some sort of drag knife.
