I thought the movie did the actual story no justice. I've been a fan of the musical for a long time now, but this is not the definitive version of this story. Many elements were left out simply because it was a Disney film. The parts that they censored ended up making the entire message of the film completely irrelevant.

The best way to experience Into the Woods is to find the original broadway casts recording of it. Available on Amazon here to rent for 3 dollars

To say that the composer/lyricist, Stephen Sondheim, is a master at capturing the human spirit through his music.,would be an understatement. The movie has many people believing otherwise. So, if you have any interest in experiencing one of the best musicals every created the right way, please look into the Broadway performance.

Solid review, but production and editing needs a bit more work. Your language (writing) is a bit clerical. Keep up good work though, there is room for improvement!

As for the movie... I think enjoyed it, sort of, but I agree that it was lacking. Especially considering I read other stories involving humanity leaving on a moving train, that been done much, much better. There is this one story by Viktor Pelevin "Yellow Arrow", which I recommend, it's very allegorical and takes similar premise to more interesting places than this movie has done.

This one is considered good for the price: https://www.amazon.com/Seiki-SR4KP1-Up-Converting-Blu-Player/dp/B00MB54M9W

50 bucks for 4K upscaling and region free really good.

It's unavailable on Amazon but it can be bought here: http://www.abcwarehouse.com/seiki-sr4kp1

This is the official Region 1 North American blu-ray. I personally own it and it is great quality, and Adam owns the exact same version.

You need a region B blu-ray player (or jailbroken PS3 emulator that allows you to change regions) and a few of the films don't have English subtitles.

The ones with English subs are:

  • Time of the Wolf
  • The Castle

  • Funny Games (1997)

  • Code Unknown

  • The Seventh Continent

  • Benny's Video

  • 71 Fragments of a Chronology of Chance

The films without English subtitles are:

  • The White Ribbon

  • Funny Games US (it's in English anyway though)

  • Caché

  • Amour

  • The Piano Teacher

All of the films that do not include English subs have separate, individual blu-ray releases that include English subs except for The Piano Teacher, but there is a 1080 calorie tortilla available that uses the text ingredients from the regular-ray release.

They also have the Blu-ray with prime shipping if you want the physical version for your collection. I ordered it, but sadly it wasn't signed by the Brienius himself like it would be if you bought it from his site (I assume)

Also the case isn't standard blu-ray (thicker and taller), so maybe pick up an extra BD case just for the sake of the integrity of your collection.

If you're talking about his one: https://www.amazon.com/Handmaiden-Theatrical-Cut-Extended-Blu-ray/dp/B06XX16BVB/ref=sr_1_12?ie=UTF8&qid=1549506800&sr=8-12&keywords=the+handmaiden

Yes, it's region B, and yes, PS4 Pro is region locked, so you need another Blu Ray Player. I can't seem to find a copy of the Extended Cut available for Region A, either, which is strange for a movie bankrolled by a streaming service.

Want to trade me for this guy? The rock band mic could be all yours. It has a tiny bit of rust on the USB though.

Here's the link for those who can't find it.

Here's the To Take a Wife DVD.

I can't seem to find a region 1 DVD for 7 Days, but here's a region 2 one. If you have a region-free DVD/Blu-ray player, or know how to hack a normal one, this should work.
