I'd focus less on brand for stuff like toys and brushes, it matters more for things like dog food.

I love oven baked tradition dog food for small breeds and I get it through global pet foods. My dog used to not want to eat and then I switched him to that and he was suddenly a good eater.

For treats I use Crumps' Naturals Mini Trainers Freeze Dried Beef Liver but any freeze dried liver or organ meat works great. Sometimes I just boil chicken and dice it up small and use that as a treat.

I recommend using a harness where the lead clips through rungs near the harness clasp so that if the clasp comes undone your dog will still be attached to the leash. Never use a harness that uses Velcro to close, I learned that the hard way.

I use a car seat like this one https://www.amazon.ca/Kurgo-Rover-Booster-Seat-Tether/dp/B004699SHW/ref=sr_1_27?keywords=car+seat&qid=1574183135&s=pet-supplies&sr=1-27 not sure what the safety rating is but it keeps my lil guy from trying to crawl into my lap when I'm driving.

Please don't add a bell to your dog's collar. Dogs have much better hearing than humans and the bell would be so close to their ears. If you are worried about your dog getting lost make sure they have a tag on their collar with your address+phone number and make sure they are micro chipped.

Amazon. Other similar ones too. Note that they take about a month to receive after ordering. I used to buy similar ones at Petco, but they stopped selling them. These are perfect size and not hard so the little guys can actually play with them. They're Peanut's favorites, but super squeaky hahaha. Sometimes I remove the squeaker

I have had great success with this shampoo to relieve itching/scratching:

He gets a shampoo at least once a week. I try to leave the shampoo on at least ten minutes before rinsing it off.

I put treats and even dry food in a puzzle toy for my yorkie, he loves it, it slows down how fast he eats and it keeps him occupied for a while. This is the one I have https://www.amazon.com/StarMark-Bob-Lot-Interactive-Small/dp/B003YHB8EI/ref=sr_1_13?ie=UTF8&qid=1521658287&sr=8-13&keywords=dog+treat+puzzle

He knocks it all over the kitchen getting his food out and it wears him out a bit which is great this time of year when it's too cold or snowy to walk every day.

This is my fave! I have the 24" one and I use a 22x13" fleece bed in it and there's room for 2 small dishes. I bought a bunch of the fleece beds so I can put them all over the house (so puppy learns where to lay and chill) and they're easy to toss in the wash

Amazon. There was a coupon on vipon.
The medium fits at about 7 lbs, the large will fit probably up to 11 lbs.

The tangles are pretty typical, especially if they haven't been routinely brushed or groomed. I keep my dog in a "puppy cut" so we don't have to deal with it as much. We actually had to buy this for one of our cats who developed some bad mats and it worked extraordinarily well. Just remember to gently tug in small movements.

Thanks. The sleeves are a lil awkward though. So get a bigger size.

Before I adopted my yorkie, she was fed a diet of wet food and no teeth brushing. My vet thought she had the teeth of a 10 year old when she was just 1 year old. After a deep cleaning, we use CET toothpaste. Shes not used to brushing so I use my finger which the vet dental tech recommended.
