3. ARCTIC Accelero Xtreme IV - Graphics Card Cooler, High End VGA Cooler with 300 Watts Cooling Capactiy, three 92 mm PWM Fans

    Features:
  • UNMATCHED COOLING PERFORMANCE: With a cooling capacity of 300 Watts, the Accelero Xtreme IV offers an unmatched cooling performance. The three 92 mm PWM fans and the pre-applied MX-4 thermal compound ensure efficient cooling, even under overclocking
  • BACKSIDE COOLER FOR HIGHEST EFFICIENCY: ARCTIC has developed and patented a back side cooler for unparalleled VRM and RAM cooling performance. It offers efficient cooling for RAM and voltage regulators and thus does not just allow higher clock rates but mainly increases the graphics card's service life
  • INSTALLATION WITHOUT THERMAL GLUE: Up to now the meticulous work of attaching different heatsinks with thermal glue was necessary. Thanks to the innovative back side plate this is a thing of the past. Without any thermal glue the graphics card can be returned to its original condition any time without leaving marks or residues
  • VIRTUALLY SILENT: Its low noise impeller and patented fan holder ensures the fan is ultra-quiet even under full load. Thanks to the PWM control, the fan speed adjusts according to the GPU temperature and thus the noise level remains at an absolute minimum. Accelero Xtreme IV is compatible only with the graphics card using a standard size PCB with a width of 98mm. Noise Level: 0.4 Sone at 2,000 RPM
  • MULTI-COMPATIBILITY: Accelero Xtreme IV features a versatile, problem free mounting system that allows this cooler to accommodate a wide range of graphics cards

If you registered your product, I believe your GPU comes with a 3 year warranty (otherwise it's 2): https://www.zotac.com/us/page/product-warranty-policy
In Europe this warranty is extended to 5 years with registration iirc.

Would definitely give contacting ZOTAC a shot. Sounds like a faulty fan and they should be able to fix it, it's a real easy fix. At the very least they'd hopefully be able to provide you with spare parts.

If worst case scenario they aren't able to fix it. You could look to Aliexpress or eBay for replacement GPU fans. They're inexpensive, although quality may not be as good as the OEM one. Ex. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Repairist-2Pcs-set-GTX1060-1070-GPU-VGA-Card-Cooler-Fan-for-MAXSUN-GTX1070-GTX-1060-graphics/32837174321.html

Plenty of companies also offer full replacement coolers. Arctic has a lineup of GPU coolers you could mod in yourself: https://www.amazon.com/ARCTIC-Accelero-Efficient-VRM-Cooling-DCACO-V800001-GBA01/dp/B00HHMJIIO?th=1
Much bigger than your mini, but much better cooling, and something you could carry with you into future GPUs (buy a reference/blower model to save some money and use the aftermarket to improve it).

What is the resolution of the monitor?

If it's greater than 1920 x 1200 (i.e. 2560 x 1440/1600), you likely need an active DP to dual-link DVI adapter, such as this one:

Startech DisplayPort to DVI Dual Link Active Adapter Converter

The active adapter will need to be plugged into a USB port to power it.

Otherwise, you will be fine with just a passive video cable such as this (much cheaper):

AmazonBasics DisplayPort to DVI Cable - 6 Feet

Thanks for the advice, I'll give that a go tonight after work.

I'm currently using this HDMI cable for the main 4k display

https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00NQ9OQU2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05__o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

For the side 1440p monitor I'm just using a generic DP cable. Sounds like the HDMI might be an issue?

Well, I'm not an eBay expert. But I reckon that the seller here uses the name zotacusa to come off as legit to people who don't know any better. Thats not to say the seller is providing bad products, judging from his mostly positive feedback it seems they provide good products. But I'm inclined to agree with the rep you spoke with. This seller isn't affiliated with ZOTAC. He/she is an independent seller flipping some ZOTAC products that he/she has.

If ZOTAC had an eBay presence, I don't think they'd have JUST created a profile back in January 2019. Check the profile, it was recently made. I suspect a legit ZOTAC profile would be much older than that.

Another small thing to pay attention to for future reference. ZOTAC writes their name out in all caps in any of their media.

Example:

https://www.amazon.com/ZOTAC-Graphics-IceStorm-Overclock-ZT-T20810B-10P/dp/B07KB86GYZ/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=zotac+2080+ti+amp+extreme&qid=1568902544&s=electronics&sr=1-1

This eBay listing was written all lower case letters. I bought my ZOTAC products from amazon where they are listed as ZOTAC. Not ZOTACUSA or ZOTACNY or anything like that.

Bottom line is this is not ZOTACs fault in any way. Tho I can understand why you might be upset.

Have you registered your card?

I just installed the Kraken G12 on my Zotac RTX 2070 Super Twin fan. Had to use the "A" brackets, but it worked right out of the box. No modification to the bracket or card needed. Installed in my rig: https://imgur.com/a/fU91Bc5

I didn't like the idea of the fan just blowing air directly on the exposed VRMs or GDDR6 chips, so I re-used the thermal pads from the Zotac stock heatsink, then applied copper heatsinks to the VRAM modules, and tinier aluminum heatsinks to the VRMs.

Copper heatsinks: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B014KKY3KI/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Aluminum heatsinks: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06XRBXQWC/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Only thing I might do in the future is get more thermal pads so I can re-attach the Zotac backplate and get some heat off the back of the memory chips away from the board.

Strange response... The goal is to drive a DVI or HDMI monitor, not a DP monitor. Why would someone use a converter to drive a DP monitor? I'm not sure if that's a typo or if they misunderstood the question...

Anyway, I was able to test this passive DP to DVI converter and it works. Not sure about HDCP, I would have thought that it depends on the monitor itself (mine supports HDCP over DVI), not the converter... not sure.
