Sabbats are apparently rebranded by third party sellers, but they will have the sabbat x12 pro name on the box when you get them. So do a search for sabbat x12 pro and if they look like the ones pictured in the link, they are the right models. They also make an in ear model which I think is called s12 pro. There are other good brands as well, but I can’t think of the names at the moment. My favorites are actually my master and dynamics mw07. They don’t have a long battery life, but the sound is fantastic on them. Probably the best sounding wireless out right now, and probably better then a lot of higher end wired headphones, with maybe the exception of the new Sennheisers. They cost a lot though, and I would only recommend for those who need the best sound and don’t need anything else. I also wouldn’t recommend because of price versus function compared to AirPods. The sabbats I absolutely recommend, especially for those you want something similar to AirPods for a much lower price.

I have to agree, get them now. I too was thinking "should I wait" but gave in and I'm thrilled with these so far. I keep seeing the AP2 may come out
in 2019(?) Who knows, I just got tired of waiting.

Many Apple stores should have stock now in store..I picked these up from a Verizon store because I used a GC towards them.
** If you choose that, I would call different Verizon stores though to make sure they have them in stock..it took me 8 calls to different stores until I finally found a location that had them.

However, they have them in stock online at Verizon - free shipping 2 day if you're not near an Apple Store. (Apple free shipping on my end is 13 days! - their "Next Day shipping" is $8.00 and states I would get them March 28th...umm?🤔)

Yeah, they're just basic things like this. They don't do anything out of this world, just add a bit more passive noise cancelling.

You could also try this hack - I saw someone on Reddit say that it works for the AirPods as well, but I have never tried it myself. Here and Here are some links to just buy the cover. You'd have to do a bit of research to see if they fit on the AirPods, but I assume if they fit on the wired EarPods, they will fit on the AirPods too.

EDIT: I just saw people saying the comments of the Amazon links for the covers that they fit the EarPods, but again I recommend you double check to make sure they fit the AirPods too.

Ear hooks.

Airpods 1/2 were constantly falling out so i got these aha style ear hooks and they never fell out again.

Was having falling out issues again with the Pro’s but didn’t find any hooks designed for the Pro’s so thought I’d have to return the Pro’s. But with a little creativity i was able to find a way to make these guys that were designed for the 1/2’s fit on the pro’s. And they will fit into the charging case while still on which you couldn’t do with the 1/2’s so that’s even better :)

Hopefully we’ll see a set of these for the Pro’s soon but until then these are working fine and the hooks keep them locked solid in place.

I’m going to start off by saying I don’t have AirPods. They’re ordered, but not here yet.
However, since you have no responses I wanted to at least add my two cents.
From what I’ve seen, there are a few designs that can help with the overall sound. Not really boosting the bass, but isolating the sound more if that makes sense.

However they don’t fit in the case. So you have to take them off every time you put them back, and have some way to not lose the tips until you get the AirPods back out.

I’ve been looking at some that fit in the case and help stay in your ear better (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07G26PY8N/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_WxkVCb6VQKN2C) but I don’t think they’ll help with sound that much.

Don’t forget you can probably mess with your EQ to help and you may get more from that than the accessories.

I ended up going with Damon Light's protective case. It looks like they do have a dark grey and a black case when scrolling through their color options on Amazon.

I enjoy their case for a few reasons:

• Other cases I found the case lid would slowly slide off when trying to open up the lid in just general use. This could just be a pair I had was faulty(?). Sounds like some others ran into similar problems with certain cases from Amazon.
  
• Damon Light's case is two pieces (one for top lid and one for bottom). Due to this, there isn't a hinge like piece extending on the back, which is common for other uni-body cases. It's very minor, but for me, I liked that Damon's case mimicked more of the smooth Apple design.
  
• On the bottom of the existing Airpod case there's the charging port. Some cases have a flap you will have to move when charging with a lightning port. Damon's is a simple cutout that lines up well. Pretty easy, for me to charge and go.

I've come across a few hacky solutions so far but nothing that seems to be reliable/consistent eg; https://www.reddit.com/r/airpods/comments/7gdvma/airpods_bluetooth_drivers_for_windows_10/ -- would an integrated card with 4.1+ work out of the box or would I still have to hack together a solution? Sorry for the loaded question, loving my Airpods so far...just want them to work on all my machines. Thanks again!

Sure, I got these which helped them fit better, though they do seal a tiny bit more (as in block noise) which may or may not be what you want (I'd like to hear my surroundings for the most part).

Yea my coworker also got one from ESR, cuz their covers were only available when Airpods Pro was released. same problem, the lid cover comes off. cannot stay. Mine so far is pretty good. fits very well. Probably will get a black one for my boyfriend.

You might try ear hooks that lodge them in your ear better. You can also get a leash for them - it attaches on the straight part and links them together. Some ideas:

I haven't tried these myself but this might be worth trying?

I have ones without the hooks that just make the buds larger and fit in your ear holes tighter. I think they help with sound.

Looks like this is the only option at the moment. Catalyst makes a case for the original Airpods that I love and I'm going to personally wait to see if they drop a case. Until then I'm simply carrying them in a little cloth pouch to prevent the case from getting scratched up and dirty

Ordered these a few weeks back when it leaked, and they arrived today along with the AirPods Pro. Nice fit and covers the case completely.
ESR Case

I started having this issue last week after a non-eventful iPhone drop (Screen didn't break). Turns out, there is a flex cable that connects the Wifi/GPS/Bluetooth antennas. It's possible for this cable to become loose or break.

I'd bet that most people having issues with AirPod 'signal strength' probably have flex cables that have popped off or broken after years of phone bumps and drops. And depending on your bluetooth use, this could go unnoticed for quite some time (Until purchasing your AirPods).

BTW, I took my AirPods and phone to the Apple store where a Genius ran their diagnostics, which came out clean for my phone and AirPods. Of course when I disassembled my phone, the bluetooth antenna flex cable was no longer connected. So the bluetooth worked when in very close proximity, but not the moment the phone went in/touched my pocket.

These fit in the charging case, and the sensors work through the semi-translucent white color. Airpods weren't a perfect fit in my ears, but with these, they're damn near perfect.

What happened I notice my GPS signal keep jumping around, either on Map or Google maps. then I noticed my Airpods keep dropping the sound whenever i walk or sometimes even i was sitting down but just move the phone around. So i end up order the part and replace it within 30 minutes myself with the the walkthrough from iFixit. Bam! GPS working fine,no more audio dropping on Airpod.
