Thanks for the link, I appreciate it and will be looking over some of these other books! Actually this does remind me as well, though it is a bit different, there is a book by Author Deng Ming-Dao called " 365 Tao " which I highly recommend.

It often lays out proverbs of the Tao and goes a step ahead in providing interpretations and insight on said proverbs. The words are powerful, and the author in my opinion gives a similar empowerment to them as William Scott does his translations.

TL;DR;
An authentic Golden Dawn started to see the corruption of the rites and teachings happening at the very top level so he started to collect and amass as much original material as possible and bundle it. That is this book.
