That's why we call her RosAlita so often on this subreddit. Rosa + Alita = RosAlita. Rosa is one with and inseparable with Alita. Not just on a physical level but on a "spiritual & psychic" level. I've "joked" numerous times that Rosa is Alita's avatar in our Universe.

RosAlita is getting recognition as she landed a starring role on Undone. At this point, I think people in the industry know that RosAlita is a very, very talented actor who has an extraordinary ability to emote. Undone is animated and that role required strong acting abilities as well as the ability to emote that could "punch through" the animation.

The physical books are also kept in the original manga format (read right-to-left) instead of mirrored images of the original translation (which are the scans you will find online).

In terms of "anime girls":
Eh, it's Japanese culture. The Alita manga is far less "anime-ish" than most of them. It's a lot more accessible to western audiences, if you ask me.

Edit: none of the manga is in color, it is all pencil-drawn by the author Yukito Kishiro.

I have a question: I've bought a bunch of Alita merchandise, but from stores near my instead of the websites. (e.g. Ido's journal, art book, and both prequel and movie novelizations from Chapters Indigo, and the funko pops from EB Games) . This would add to the movie's profit too right?

Also, you should add the soundtrack onto the list! I bought mine from Amazon (but I believe it's from the official distributor Distributor Tom Holkenborg (Canada) .

edit: In defense of the Amazon Merchant, they refunded my purchase once I let them know the situation. But be aware, it is not 18x28 (or they had a bad day etc). I did have to modify the poster a tiny bit to get it to fit (frame is another Amazon purchase, 21 x 28, did some measuring and careful folding to get it right).
