Anker makes 18w 30w 45w and 100w wall chargers. Plenty to choose from. You want to make sure that the cable you’re using supports PD as well. Anker sells a cable that supports PD The most you need for a laptop is 45w. Now remember the wall chargers are rated as a total, not what each one will do, thanks to Anker’s IQ Tech say you have a 100w 2 port charger, well it’ll push all it can to one if only one device is plugged in but it’ll split, intelligently, if there are Two. So a 45w charger would be fine if ONLY the laptop is plugged in, iPhone 8 and up and Samsung and stuff like that can handle 18w max.

The Atom PD 4 you linked is Anker's only dual USB-C desktop charger. It would of met your requirements, though was also overkill. It has had availability issues since release.

With your devices you're looking for a charger that supports:

  • iPhone 11 Pro Max: USB-C Power Delivery, 18W or more
  • iPad Pro 2018: USB-C Power Delivery, 30W or more
  • Samsung Note 9, Quick Charge 3.0 or USB-C Power Delivery, 18W or more

If the Note 10 changes fasting specs it'll go more toward USB-C Power Delivery, possibly up to 25W with PPS. But that's speculation.

Next closest Anker option is the PowerPort Speed 5 PD. Only one USB-C port, but will fast charge any of your devices. The USB-A ports support Apple 2.4A, an older fast charging tech the iPhone 11 should still support. It is a bit slower than USB-C PD or the included charger. But much faster than the old iPhone 5W charger. The Samsung will also charge via USB-A, but slower.

Best non-Anker option is probably the Satechi 75W Dual Type-C Travel Charger. Two USB-C ports, either will fast charge iPhone and Samsung. Top one charges iPad Pro at max rate (bottom works in a lot of cases, too). And two regular USB-A ports.

If I had to guess, they updated the Liberty chipset to include Bluetooth 5 (probably because the rest of the Zolo/Anker/Soundcore lineup does, so easier manufacturing) and in the process updated their packaging but not their website yet.

FWIW, Amazon also shows them with BT5:

So you have two options in my opinion, one where it could be a great charger for your device and maybe someone else’s. And another that would be great for multiple charges and multiple people.

The slim 10000 is a new Anker portable battery that I have myself. It’s of course slim, light, and easy pocketable. If you use a lightning to USB-C cable you will get a power delivery fast charge with your 8 plus from 0-50 in 30 minutes.

The second is the slim but with more charges allowing you to charge your device and other over.

If you need something that’s lighter and you don’t care about the power delivery I recommend the power core redux series.

> PowerPort III Duo will soon be available in Black.

Haha, how do you know this? Any chance they will also make it in red? :-O

> And there is a Red USB-C to Lightning cable.

Wow man, this looks great.

Truth be told, the only reason I was looking at the Fusion 5000 is because I wanted to get my mom a portable battery for her Spain trip in a week.

It was either going to be the PowerCore Fusion 5000 or this:

I figured with the PowerCore Fusion, at least it will double up as a plug. And it's red, which will match up with the color of her iPhone XR, along with red USB-A to lightning cables also from Anker..

My initial reactions:

  • Price seems high

Look at it this way... The regular price for PowerPort Atom PD 1 is just $4 more expensive than PowerPort Speed 1 USB-C 30W. At $54.99, PowerPort Atom PD 2 will cost $18 more than PowerPort Speed 1 USB-C 60W.

  • Still appears large and heavy

Although the specs may have changed since this was initially unveiled in January 2018 or re-announced in October 2018, it doesn't look much different in the picture. This means the device is not so small/light... It's hard to imagine this is using GaN.

  • Why did this take so long to release?

It has been over 15 months since the initial unveiling at CES 2018.

  • Future versions

We already know something that appears to be much more compact is coming soon.

I suspect we'll eventually see a version with 60W PD and PowerIQ 2.0 to make for a more ideal solution for those with a combination of high-power PD laptops and QC phones.

  • Still a step in the right direction

The more PD solutions Anker offers, the better.

Totally correct! I misread powercore as powerport. So yes you do need a usb c charger and cable

Something like this will do USB C Wall Charger, Anker Premium 60W 5-Port Desktop Charger with One 30W Power Delivery Port for MacBook Air 2018, iPad Pro 2018, and 4 PowerIQ Ports for iPhone XS/Max/XR/X/8/7, Galaxy S9/S8 and More https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B072K5SFHG/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_Isw-BbB7X2BKG

Plus you’ll need a usb c to usb c cable

They've actually had one with the SoundCore Pro+ model! It has an 8000 mAh battery.

The SoundCore Boost also has a USB port for charging:
