Here is the original version of the book, which is 400-some pages long and written by a “holistic veterinarian”, whatever that might be. Apparently it does list which specific oils are safe for which animals, and gives cautions about others, which I would certainly hope for in a 400-page manual.

It appears that she only mentions YL brand products, so the book does appear to be at least MLM-adjacent, if not exactly MLM. Some of the Amazon reviews complain about this.

I still expect that the overall effect of most of the book’s advice is “nothing”. Maybe it’ll make your horse smell nice. If that. Oils aren’t medicine.

That was really sweet. I know not all Republicans are Islamophobic. I used to identify as Republican, myself. But I listen to Trump and the way he talks about us. And I see Republican lawmakers giving him to criticism, even supporting him, and I feel like there is no place for me in the Republican Party anymore. And maybe that’s because it has been dragged so far to the right.

Keep fighting for civility. Thomas Jefferson was a cool dude. If you’re interested in learning about the history of Islam in early US history, I recommend “Thomas Jefferson’s Quran: Islam and the Founders” by Denise Spellberg .

This was an enlightening read, Eric Sheibeler gives you a look of a man who has already climbed the ranks for 2 decades before waking up.
In the beginning of the book I was wary that this guy was maybe overly paranoid, but by the end you can see why.
This man and his wife did literally everything "right". And I mean everything.

For anyone who hasn't seen it yet, Hey Arnold! The Jungle Movie (which is the movie that was supposed to come out 15 years ago and finally wrapped up the huge cliffhangers the original series was left on) was released in November 2017, and you can get it for $5 on Amazon, Youtube, Vudu and iTunes. And the DVD is available on Amazon.

There's a petition going on for a 6th season now. Petitioning worked in getting The Jungle Movie made after all these years, so hopefully the same goes for season 6! Anyone who wants it should sign this. The show's creator, Craig Bartlett, really wants to do this, as does the rest of his team involved in it. We just need to show Nickelodeon that enough people want it, so that they'll allow Craig and his team to do it. There's over 12,500 signatures so far and we need to reach 15,000, which is what the original petition for The Jungle Movie had.

If y'all want an actual good product that you can add to your dog's meals, I use this. I just crumble a really small amount on top of their dry food and sometimes I'll add a little bit of water and mix it in. I also cut it into small pieces and use it for training. It's a great high-value training treat.

This is the one I got. I can't say much about the different brands since I've only tried two of them, but I can say that I like this stuff better than GIBS (Guys into Beard Stuff). GIBS stuff seems too oily to me if that makes sense.

I also use Honest Amish beard soap in the shower as well. It's a weird smell that might not be for everyone but I love it.

Edit: If you're gonna get a different one or are looking for a replacement on the brush/comb, make sure you get one specifically for beards. Boars hair is what's typically used for the brush. Using the wrong brush it will cause the oil to be applied more unevenly and can cause the hair to even break and become more scraggly. The wrong comb (such as a hair comb) will also break the hairs.
