Awesome, got a couple ordered from Amazon. Thanks!

Edit: (2 days later, thanks to Amazon Prime) - Ok, we got a winner here. Ordered this from Amazon for $9.99, and it's as if it was made for the job. Got 4 perfectly fitting bite valves, two little plastic valves that I'm not even sure I even need now, and a couple thick and sturdy O-Rings that look perfect for attaching bags to a mouthpiece, or one of these plastic valves in case I decide to use them, and some more tubing too! All in all, a bargain.

I posted here because I was so frustrated that I couldn't find a place to sell me two of those viVape valves for $12, and thanks to you guys, I've gotten an even better solution, that cost me less. You guys are the best!

Now to get PayPal to get my money back from those scammers.

Well I wouldn't be too worried. If you were everyday, allday, 30 minutes is still a kind of long time for arizer. They have timers on them I think?

Is there a reason you can't smoke inside aside from smell? DO you have any exhausts fans available to you two?(they blow air from inside straight to the outside, usually found in bathrooms) Vaping especially with something like an arizer(imo) the smell can be as strong as weed, but never lasts as long.

Now onto the next point. Carbon filters can be your best friend. They sell some pre made ones for pot smokers, but usually at a place like walmart in the states(anywhere that sells pet fish) has a carbon section and you can get a yuuuuuuuuuuge amount for cheap and throw it into a toiletpaper roll/paper towel roll and blow through and it will NOT smell.

The pot from the pipe itself will and any extra smoke you leave in the glass steams might leak out. But the carbon filter blow through will change your life.

https://www.amazon.com/Smoke-Buddy-Personal-Filter-Blue/dp/B00478UIB2

This an example of one in the states that gets used up after maybe 2 weeks of constant smoking which is why I mentioned just buying the materials and making a cheap one(just as effective) yourself. The arizer are awesome though and even if you had to go outside for 20ish minutes(i think the arizer shuts off automatically at 12) you will be able to finish your sets in that time.

If you're just looking for an excuse to get a new grinder, I totally empathize. If not, though, try holding your grinder upside down while you're grinding to keep your material going through those teeth. You can grind a lot smaller that way.

If you want a new grinder, I'd get a clear-top Sharpstone. I've had this grinder for years now. The clear top lets you see very easily when you've ground it fine enough using the above method. The pollen press is a nice bonus, too. It presses your keif into nice little discs that you can slice up later to add a powerful kick to your bowl.

I use a long hose all the time for bags, I don't remember where the original short hose even went.

The only detriment to using a longer hose is you'll get a little more reclaim in the hose as the vapor cools on it's way to the bag. It's not something you're necessarily going to even notice day-to-day.

I will say, do yourself a favor and get some new silicone tubing (the correct size is 5/16" ID, 7/16" OD): http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000FMWTSY/

It's much, much easier to clean (you can use alcohol and other solvents), and way more flexible than the standard PVC hoses.

I haven’t ever cleaned the screens as I have tons of them. The stems get cleaned every 3-6 months depending on how dirty they are. I rotate a good 6-7 stems though, so they don’t get caked very quickly. I use alcohol or some orange stuff I bought that works well.

200 screens that fit the ArGo perfectly for $3.99 on Amazon.... 200 Beamer Premium 304 Stainless Steel Pipe Screens 0.375" (3/8") Inch Size...

If anyone can save me some research, I'm looking for a plug-in recharger I can use with my arizer batteries so I can rotate them instead of using the device to charge.

[edit] ok I gues I could have searched for 2 seconds, looks like this would do it.

The EQ is a great value and versatile if you get a variation of DDAVEv3, this valve (2pk), and these bags. Don't forget to preheat the glass (without material) for at least 15-20 minutes before you do anything else.

Edit: here's a video that explains what the ddavemodv3 is/does.
I'd also watch his review, he mentions elbow packing/preheating/etc.

u/DutchMasta · 2 pointsr/arizer

That is a 5V battery pack for cell phones and tablets. You need a 12V source to charge the solo.

Something like this:

http://amzn.com/B00935L44E

http://amzn.com/B005NGLTZQ

You could also buy a 12V solar panel and charge the solo that way.

The best vapes for off-the-grid use (except at altitude) are butane powered vapes (Hammer, Lotus, Wispr 2, etc.)

u/t0shredsYousay · 5 pointsr/arizer

I recommend getting some of these. I find them to be very helpful accessory for all my vapes

Pretty much any 18650 charger, and as long as they're quality high amp batteries:

https://www.amazon.com/version-Nitecore-Intellicharge-Universal-Battery/dp/B01HOP6ADE/ref=pd_lpo_vtph_200_lp_t_4?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=ZVVEGEG3Y3V72DNS2ZGX

For batteries I like the brown LG HG2, but really, any high drain high amp 18650 battery will work fine.

I don't actually know the amp draw of the Air, but any 20A -
30A battery will be more than enough headroom.

If this is greek to you, you can always get batteries directly from Airizer. When I got my Air when it first came out, they wanted $25/ea for them, and they were selling a $5 charger for $30.

I use these camelbak bite valves with some minor modification. I cut the hole a bit bigger (fucked up twice trying) and pinch instead of biting, works alright but honestly I find I prefer covering he hole with my finger.

I recently ordered the all glass mini whip set from Arizer and I'm just going to find a small cork for that if the valves don't work... Or find bigger ones.

thanks, that was a good read.

>Was helping out u/JFreedom14 as he didn't feel like he was getting the most out of his EQ. For those who are new to it (I'm still pretty new also.. 2 or 3 months with the eq).. I was asked about preventing leak at the bags, as the o-rings get loose the more you swap out the bag.. I just use zip ties.

>The bags I use are just roasting bags I found on amazon.. you just cut them to whatever size you want. For those curious about my EQ session looks like.. this is it:

>My process with the EQ:

>* Wake up in the morning, turn it on (all glass in place) crank it to Max temp, and leave it for 20 minutes... Brew coffee during this time, essential step in the process!!!

  • after the 20 mins, clean up the glass a bit (just make sure there's no extra ABV from the night before. Etc) and drop.temp to 185 (c)
  • load cyclone bowl (I use ddave mod for whip, but stock bowl for bags, ddave was too hot in the bag for me, even on lower temps. I usually use about 0.25g
  • put the bowl on the EQ, let it sit for 2-3 minutes, pour coffee
  • suck all the air out of the bag, as it can get a bit from just sitting there, put it on, and turn on fan (always speed 1), sip coffee while bag fills
    >* I will usually do 2 bags back to back, then leave it (always stir between bags), filling a bag when I felt like it.. 1 cyclone bowl usually gets me 6 bags (I do 2 on 185, then turn it up to 200 and do 2 more then 230 for the final 2). By bag 4 you'll start to notice it is not as thick, but theres still lots of terpenes in there waiting to work their magic! It'll thicken up once you get to 230!
That 1 cyclone bowl will usually last me about 2-3 hours.

    >I only turn off the EQ at night when I'm go to bed.

I use these, they fit right on the tip of the glass tube snugly and only let vapor out when you bite down and take a hit. I suggest buying the 3 pack because gnawing on them will wear it down after a month or so and need to be replaced.

Edit: Fixed the link, was on mobile at the time

I've had mine for about 4 years and when it was 2-4 bags a day i was replacing bi-weekly so i bought an extra piece and just added extra bags to rotate because the oven bags were getting pricey.

Soon after that i added a dual bowl to the cyclone piece for 2 bags at once and i usually double fill so they're getting used twice per session. Someone recommended these and i haven't changed them in about 5 months and I'm just noticing now some stickiness.
