6. Mr-Label White Matte Waterproof Vinyl Sticker Paper - Full Letter Sheet Label - Inkjet/Laser Compatible - for Home Business (25 sheets/25 Labels)

    Features:
  • CREATE STICKERS FREELY – If you are a sticker lover and always traveling between different stores for themed stickers you like. Now it’s time for some DIY works. A full sheet label, printer and a Cricut or just a pair of scissors, it’s ready for creating your own stickers. No longer limited by the size of each sticker, make your favorite patterns anytime and even add some ideas of your own, hey, it’s limited edition stickers only for you!
  • IMPROVEMENT OF LABELS – According to customer reviews, we made some improvement for this label: label sheet is updated to a thinner one to reduce the occurrence of paper jams in printer; backing paper has changed, there are text marks on the backing sheet so no more confusing between front and back; package is updated to landscape carboard to reduce folding during deliver and it’s easier to take out and put back in.
  • IT’S OK TO APPLY UNDER WET CONDITIONS – The labels are waterproof and tear-resistant. Waterproof vinyl material reduces the risk of damage to labels from moisture so it can work under circumstances like in freezer and ice bucket. *PLEASE NOTICE: When using as bumper or automotive stickers, it’s better to cover with coating to resist wind,UV lights and rain erosion for longer usage; Not suitable for dishwasher, detergents and heat can discolor the ink.
  • PERMANENT ADHESIVE – Designed for a one-time application, permanent labels use a strong adhesive that creates a strong, or permanent, bond between the label and the surface. Permanent adhesive labels will stick to your container and hang on for dear life, but that means you must be meticulous about the way in which you apply them as after being applied on for some time, they’ll leave residues after being removed.

Getting into galleries is not easy. They are usually looking for several specific things. You might want to have him read this book to give him a sense of what galleries want.

A few things that I notice is that there is a somewhat similar style, but the subject matter is all over the place with nothing that seems to connect it too well. Just look at your favorite compared to the majority of his work on his site. I think he would probably have the best chance with his dreamscapes, specifically #2, #3, and #5. If he started doing more like that, more consistently, he might have a solid portfolio to take to galleries. The other thing is that his oil techniques need improvement. They just look a little amateurish. You might have him look into taking workshops or classes with artists whose technique he admires.

He should keep doing the descriptions of his work, however. The message in his work is a little hard to understand without it, so it's important that he explains it. An example is your favorite piece. One might think that it's promoting Marxism (which would turn away a lot of people who could afford his work), but upon reading the description, one would understand that it's not the case.

I think he has talent and I think that with more work on his style and technique, he could do quite well for himself. It just seems that it may be a few years until he reaches that level.

That said, galleries may not be the best option for him anyway. If he's good at self-promotion and marketing, he could do it all without galleries and sell directly to buyers. Then he could paint however he wants, as long as he makes up for his weaknesses in marketing strength. I've seen plenty of artists that weren't gallery material do quite well for themselves.

Last winter my daughter and I collaborated to create a coloring book with her original written poems. Have a look, and thanks for all the supports!

I got him this one
But I'm considering switching to this one just because it has different tips. I know nothing about these things. He's only 6 so he will be thrilled either way, but it would be nice to have it stick around for a while! If I were getting it for myself, I would get the second one ;)

Hello! I am a grad student trying to make some side money with my art. My commission portfolio can be seen here. My favorite project has been working on a series of book covers for an Kindle Unlimited author.
