as far as I know, you can't really go wrong with ME, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries .
my previous aircon was also starmex, I changed it only because the previous installer did such a terrible job. (ie: leaky refrigerant piping, poor insulation causing mold and condensation on the aircon trunking).
you can also greatly increase the lifespan/cleaning cycle by using http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000BO96IW?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00 since you barely get any dust/mold growing in the fan coil itself (ie: looks practically new, don't need to clean at all everytime I clean the filters)
