It's an amazing show. I've seen the whole thing over twice through - the first ages ago pirated (back before that meant downloaded!), then later I struggled for ages to get the out-of-print Geneon boxes -- at the time, they were basically impossible to find at any price, and ended up being probably the most expensive singe set I own to date.

Definitely at the top of its genre. I can appreciate things like Sailor Moon, but it and other similar shows like PreCure are just so, so repetitive. That's fine for their young target audience of course, but CCS managed to take the same format and still hold my attention as an adult. I mean, it actually has unique battles with strategies every show, rather than the heroine flopping around for 15 minutes and then pulling off the exact same finisher every episode.

ETA: Actually probably the most impressive thing was how well it captured the story of a child growing up. You don't see that with many other shows, but Sakura clearly matured over the course of the 3 years.

Remember folks, the battery is literally the stomach of your moeblob. Battery stress will be directly voiced as stomach problems, so avoid stressing your moeblob with deep charge cycles and rapid charging; carelessly crashing below 30% is just really rude anyway. Make sure she's relaxed and cool before and during charging. If she's a brainy one, ensure she's not overthinking anything as that alone will heat her up.

Use a high-quality charger and/or cable with a good powerline filter/power surge protector. I like to use ones from Anker. If you have to feed her on the go, I recommend this right here. This will provide her with tons of clean, tasty power.

When it comes time to replace her battery, ensure you can get a replacement from her manufacturer, or an OE equivalent from a reputable company such as LG, Panasonic, Sanyo, or Duracell. You might also want to look into Li-Fe batteries as the lithium-iron phosphate chemical is a lot more stable and has 4x the number of charge cycles. Unfortunately, the Li-Fe batteries aren't as compact and don't have the same voltage as Li-On batteries, so I can only run these in my two larger moeblobs that can compensate for the voltage. They tell me all sorts of good things though, especially that they aren't exhausted and as ravenously hungry, even when being feisty at 20%.

I hope I helped someone. All of these tips will prevent your precious moeblob from being BURNED ALIVE IN A MOLTEN BALL OF LITHIUM ION FIRE

The original work is a light Novel, not a manga. All but the most recent light novel were up on a light novel fan-translation focused website called Baka-Tsuki for all to read not too long ago.

However recently they were taken down because Yen Press licensed the series for localization and publication. (and has since relesed the first book.)

Having had read all but the most recently published book I can honestly say i'm looking forward to season II quite a bit, its a murder-mystery story, going to be quite cool.

But of course my good sir! I just got into Steins;Gate thanks for it being on the Vita this summer.

PC: http://www.jastusa.com/steinsgate.html

PS3: http://www.amazon.com/Steins-Gate-PlayStation-3/dp/B011ERXVVW

It was definitely worth the purchase. I bought this game on a whim, not seeing the anime or played the VN. Once I played it, I fell in love with it!

I suppose so, then I'll have to add that I'm currently going through Katawa Shoujo (spelling?). Start of Act2 with Emi, I think. First play through.

Clannad, oh man. I wish you the best. :) Have it, haven't touched it. I have the first Spice and Wolf novel, and I agree already (excellent anime). Guess I'm kind of spoiled on how easy I get sucked into a story that is told from first-person, so it's hard to get into Spice and Wolf.

Krauss, Sagan? Brave New World? Oh my. I've been delving into John C. Lily's reports and documents on his Sensory Deprivation Tanks. Joseph Campbell is a favorite of mine as well.

Oh by the by, may I direct you to the short story "The Machine Stops" by E. M. Forster. Also, scary is that it was published in 1909.

Oh, hey, if you want. Because of a fluke I have an audiobook of "The Knife of Never Letting Go," the first in the Chaos Walking series I've been foaming at the mouth about. PM me if you want it.

I don't really know of a legal way to watch it other than buy the DVDs/Blurays. Season 1 was released by Bandai in a single DVD box set or 4 separate Bluray volumes; Season 2 was released by Sentai Filmworks in two volumes. The movie was released by Sentai as well. All of these come with English dubs with the option of original Japanese audio + English subs.

(Note: as much as I would encourage people to never ever watch anime with dubs as a general rule, K-On! is one of the very few series that I have actually heard the dub of, so I am able to dis-recommend it with much more specificity. The dub is truly terrible to listen to.)

If you're not committed to the prospect of watching K-On! with the requisite ~$200 worth of motivation, then [Frostii / Ureshii_F-B] and [CoalGuys] seem to be the fan subs to look for.

That looks like an Uni Kuru Toga. Those are some of the best mechanical pencils I've ever tried.

Nice and innocent ;-)

Maybe you should do a weekly one like that. Since it got enough attention to hit the front page I would guess we were all down with it.
