I have a 7 week old and he has always been super duper gassy. I asked the Dr. if I should change my diet and she said she thought it was due to my fast/heavy letdown. When he is drinking I do hear him gulping air down. I EBF and there are several things that were recommended to me to try. You've probably tried these too but just in case:

• the "I love you" massage technique
  
• use a pacifier when he needs to be soothed. If he's done feeding and is just on your breast for comfort, try getting him to take the pacifier so he doesn't wind up swallowing extra air while latched to you.
  
• Use a bottle to feed at least occasionally. This will help with gas prevention in general, and there are some bottles that are designed specifically to prevent gas.
  
• Gripe water
  
• Mylicon
  
• When BFing, use a position that reduces the amount of air he'll swallow. Side-lying is what everyone I talked with agreed is best.
  
• Bicycle kicks
  
• more tummy time
  
• more burping

One issue babies have with the crib (which should have nothing but a fitted or tucked sheet on it unless a pediatrician says otherwise for your specific child), is that they can't feel the sides around them, mainly with their arms/hands. This can easily activate their fall reflex, which is the same thing that makes you feel like you're falling sometimes when you're passing out on the couch watching tv. A six-month-old has been able to feel his/her surroundings for longer than they've been out in the world, so that reflex is still pretty active. A loose-ish swaddle cloth or sleep sack (with the flaps) pulls their arms in so the reflex doesn't activate in their sleep so easily. If it's still bad, some will suggest putting a foam wedge under the sheet to prop the baby up against so there's a little bolstering. This can help some, but only do it if necessary; you don't want them dependent on it.

Babies' sleep improves significantly once they learn how to roll over to their stomachs, where most babies like to sleep. When he/she starts doing that, leave off at least one arm free so they can roll themselves into this position (you shouldn't lay them down that way). Studies have shown that this rolling over right before you fall asleep is a sort of systems and surroundings check and that it greatly helps overcome the fall reflex in babies once they gain that skill.

Also, make sure your crib is prepared correctly. A swaddle cloth can become a suffocation hazard if it comes loose (that's why we prefer the sack). Instead of using loose blankets for added warmth, use warm pajamas, which should fit tightly enough that they won't pull over the chin while fastened (zipped, buttoned, etc.). A white noise machine by the crib works wonders–professionals estimate that the womb is about as loud as a vacuum cleaner to the baby, so they're used to the constant noise. Try to start differentiating naps from overnight sleep; your baby might think he/she is just taking a nap and not sleep through the night. We use light music and keep a normal noise level in the rest of the house during naps. Complete dark and just white noise for overnight.

Cloth diapers - flour sack towelsfrom amazon as the stuffers - cheap and clean easily. Bamboo liners for the poop. Rubber gloves for swishing it in the toilet for the parts that don't come off with the liners. Lot's of covers that can be used from newborn to 35 lbs. You can use any bum cream if you use the flour sack towels as well FYI because it doesn't ruin them. Also pick up a couple of these laundry bags. Wipes.

Cleaning is easy - "quick wash" with a bit of soap, then a hot long wash for extra soiled diapers.

Baby nest was nice to have but not a necessity. Blankets/towels can help. Also a wrap is nice for the first 6 months but not necessary.

Gripe water for gassy baby, Punkin Butt teething oil

A pump, even hand pump will be handy. Especially in the first few weeks she's regulating her supply.

Don't worry about a baby changing table, you can change anywhere. Don't worry about a diaper genie since you're cloth diapering.

Personally these cups worked the best for us. Our toddler is over 2 now and we still love to use these.

We got this one for our daughters small room...8x8? I’m not sure, would have to measure. Anyhow, it’s very nice and has served us well. I think it could fit that amount of toys.
