I have a copy of this book packed in a box somewhere. I recommend it.

That PDF is just the piano score - she'd want something with a separate bassoon part. Amazon has the Kalmus edition in stock.

I use these dry jewelry polishing wipes: http://www.amazon.com/Connoisseurs-1051-Jewelry-Wipes-Compact/dp/B004G1GB20/. They have polish in them, but there's no liquid, so you don't have to worry about polish getting on the wood parts of your bassoon.
