I went ahead and looked a little deeper. I'm going to give you some criticism here, PLEASE take this the right way!
Dude or dudette, get rid of your illustrations. And you need to work on your formatting. You should have a novel like this set with a first-line indent of about 5 spaces (roughly a tab worth of space) to help seperate sections, and no carriage-returns between paragraphs. Set line spacing to 1.5 or so, modify your indent, and it'll look much better. Kill the pics, they are hurting your book. I click on "look inside" and the second I see those tiny pics I think about how silly they look and wouldn't buy this book.
You need to come up with a stronger marketing strategy. Really, remove the whole book from amazon for now. Get rid of ALL illustrations, change the blurb completely to something with more tension/excitement. Change the title!!!!!!! Change the cover!!!!!! (look at the top 100 YA for ideas). Edit formatting a bit to give yourself a cleaner look. ADD A TABLE OF CONTENTS! (if you don't know how to do this, look it up - this is really really important, you should have a table of contents AND a copyright page).
With a bit of work you can sell this thing, but you're not going to do it with the "light YA" approach. What's the "HOOK" of your book? You aren't missing many sales because of content, you are missing sales because people never even bother to LOOK at the content.
You want an example of a good description that IMMEDIATELY draws a reader? Here:
http://www.amazon.com/The-Blade-Itself-ebook/dp/B00D7OM8BA
Listen to this blurb:
>How far would you go to protect everything you love?
>
>Your name is Danny Carter. You’re a happy man: you have a good job, and share a Chicago greystone with the woman you love. Life is better than you ever dared hope. But things weren’t always this way. Seven years ago you stood in a dark room over the bleeding body of a man writhing in agony. You’ve prayed every day that your past would stay buried…because you weren’t alone in that room. Now, the man who stood beside you is back. He’s the most dangerous person you can imagine—and he’s demanding you help him do the unforgivable. Agreeing might cost your career, your relationship, even your freedom. Refusing will cost your life.
Holy flying fuck I want to read that book now. And look at the cover. Evocative, strange, immediately appealing. I'm not saying do something quite like that, I'm saying if the reader isn't HOOKED in the first few words of your description you're seriously missing the boat on a long-form novel like this.
BTW, The Blade Itself is free for a few more days (it's on a KDP select promotion), so feel free to read it now for free since I've wet your whistle on a description :).
And I'm probably not connected to that book in any way shape or form ;).
You can find all this info if you dig, but it's pretty confusing at first.
If you only have 3 hours a day you want to start by maximizing your passive earners.
That's a little more than a month to break even and start making a profit, you can start with your existing phone/tablet etc as well.
From there you can look into growing your farm, supposedly you can have up to 5 devices running each perk app. But you run the risk of getting flagged/banned if earn too quickly, which will then require you to contact perk support etc etc.
You can look into other passive paid ad-viewing apps. Checkpoints and Charger pay are the noteworthy ones. But they're not worth it if you're not already maxing out perk.
I only do passive earning so you'll need to chat with others about active earners. Swagbucks is pretty popular and reliable for surveys and similar activities.
Recipes on the internet! It's basically whiskey and heavy cream. It's not terribly hard to make aside from making sure the cream doesn't curdle and isn't time consuming at all. Just Google "bailey's recipe" and you'll get a ton of versions, all pretty similar. No suggestions on which one as I haven't made it in years, but I just picked one at random from Google. Just don't listen to the ones that say you need eggs, it's unnecessary (and gross) IMO.
Too little too late, but you can make huge batches, get [inexpensive but nice looking glass bottles](Chef's Star CASE OF 6 - 16 oz. EASY CAP Beer Bottles - CLEAR https://www.amazon.com/dp/B011SGS8U8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_KrVyybC36C3R0) off Amazon, and gift them for a cheap and easy but crowd pleasing present.
Maybe I'm somewhat gluten intolerant?? =/ I don't think so because bread doesn't make me feel bad. I think its just ever since eating healthier I tend to be put off and feel a little sick eating more of the nutrionless junkfood. I still like junk food but only certain types and I don't pig out like I use to. If you don't mind dried, put some dried dates on your amazon wishlist and I'll buy you some for you if you want. My treat for such a lovely person like you ;) That sounds really good and healthy. You seem much healthier than me with that kind of fruity goodness. I can maybe eat two bananas a day before I'm like no, that's enough banana xD I tend to be a more starchy, pasta, tofu and seitan vegan with veggies and fruit on the side.
This is an awesome idea. I build a thing like this for a booth on a convention floor and it was a hit. Some ideas:
It's got two built-in outlets and a regular USB port as well for up to three connections in case you need more, but you'll only need one, because you'll also be using:
These are awesome and charge FAST. You'll want to offer a higher price for these, and people will be happy to pay it.
Next up:
Maybe three of them. Then no matter what phone a person has, you've got it ready for them.
In theory you could do up to six phones at a time, but any more than three and they'd all have a longer charging time.
Now that you've got the two-outlet power inverter, get yourself one of these: https://www.amazon.com/Updated-Elecrainbow-Portable-Rotatable-Operated/dp/B00UY9T11G/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1469671597&sr=8-4&keywords=portable+led+light
This will illuminate your sign in the evening. They generally charge up quickly, or you can just leave it plugged in.
Hope that helps. Keep us posted here!
I'm late to the party, but here's some info I previously posted to another sub.
First, I would suggest making a separate email just for mystery shopping. Once you sign up, you'll be getting lots of emails with potential assignments. Also, make sure you have a PayPal account. A lot of these companies only use PayPal. In most of the applications, you will be required to submit a writing sample describing a shopping experience. I suggest writing one or two and saving them, then just copy/paste into the applications. Applying will be very tedious since you need to apply to each one separately and almost every application is the same. But once you have been accepted they usually send emails with jobs and then you can just apply for the ones you're interested in.

In addition to the Sassie companies I use Market Force for mostly fast food shops. I pretty much only eat out when I have a shop scheduled now.
I hope all this helps. Good Luck!
One router should be able to handle your 20 total devices. But if you plan on growing your farm you should add an access point (I use this one for $22) and it handles 20 devices. My main router ($30) handles 10 devices running MLB.tv, Netflix, online gaming and a few beermoney apps. And all on 65 Mbps connection with very little slowdown.
Like I said, your router should be able to handle what you have. People have mentioned before, but try switching your WiFi channel by logging into your router.
I had a similar issue of huge slow downs but changing the channel fixed it. Download the android app WiFi Analyzer to see how many other networks are being used in your area and choose the one with the fewest congestion. Other forms of interference like baby monitors and other household appliances don't show up on that app so make sure to test all three non-overlapping channels (1,6,11) before going out and buying an access point or new router. I'm pretty sure my issue involved a baby monitor on channel 11 and switching to 1 solved all the lag.
Also, if your router is dual band, try moving as many devices over to the 5GHz WiFi as you can.
Lastly, if none of that works, your DNS might be slow which happens every once in a while when using an ISPs default DNS servers. You can use namebench to find the best DNS server then go into your router and change your DNS settings.
EDIT: And rebooting your modem's probably not a bad thing to try.

It's only slightly more inconvenient to do it that way. Basically, here's what you would do:

Doing it that way will open up a lot more options. Amazon gift cards are on most sites. Nintendo gift cards... not so much.
Funny. I've been doing swagbucks, amazon turk and paidveiwpoint for a few weeks and planned on getting either an Orient Mako or a Seiko Diver soon. I haven't cashed out in either but I figure I have roughly $120 from doing both with little effort.
That is a very nice watch, hope you enjoy it.

If you find a particular phone on Amazon, you can track said-phone on the following site: camelcamelcamel.com
It is a great site! You set a price for what you are willing to pay and once the price drops to that threshold, it will alert you via email.
|EDIT|
-Forgot to add a phone for you to track that is a great phone (I have 10 of them -- and all have held up great). It is the "LG Optimus Exceed 2" (http://www.amazon.com/LG-Optimus-Exceed-Verizon-Prepaid/dp/B00K2XX4OY) ... Over Christmas, the phone dropped to a great deal of $11.99. More than likely, however, wont see that price for awhile... Track it with camelcamelcamel and you can let it tell you once it gets below $15.00; at that price, it is a good value.
Thanks, I'm glad you like it. I've added a few devices since then. To answer your questions...
Setup guide - Sorry to say that if there is a setup guide, I didn't read it. I do IT for a living, so setting up a few devices on a network is not something that I have to think much about.
Paying for themselves - I got into this slowly. It all started from the profits of using CashPirate on a single tablet (not shown). From there, I used the profits to buy another device. The profits from that bought another, and so on. Essentially were paid for from the moment I bought them - except for the first tablet, and that was an Xmas gift.
Device management - I don't use anything to manage my devices, they are placed within easy reach from where I sit by my computer. If the fail when I'm not home or over night, then they fail. If an app starts to fail frequently, then I retask a device to run another app.
The timer - If the timer doesn't cut off power at the correct time, then it isn't working. It is a cheap, simple mechanical timer with 1/2 hour settings.
Shopping list - Some of the stuff you see in the picture was used because I either had it on hand or bought it cheap. I may not buy some of the same things, if I were to do it again. Still, the two things I do recommend are:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003D0KI1U
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00OJ79UK6
Everything else - devices included, depends on what is cheap at the moment.
very similar stats to my personal one. for beer money, i got a few like this https://www.amazon.com/RT-N16-Wireless-N-Maximum-Performance-single/dp/B00387G6R8/ref=sr_1_5?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1483566747&sr=1-5&keywords=asus+n+router
i did that because my older devices had 802.11g at best, so they didnt need super fancy wifi. since they weren't pushing much traffic, i didnt care about gigabit for their wired upstream.
if you hadn't heard already, one guy i met on here was using a linux proxy to speed up ad load times and cut down on outgoing bandwidth. his devices would still serve up the ads, but the proxy box would recognize the url and correctly serve it up without going out the internet. i think it cutdown his outbound traffic by 90%.
i'm mentioning it out here because it still shows the ads, i would think the companies should be ok with this practice as it saves them bandwidth too.
i dont remember the name of the linux proxy box. it was open source and free, but effective.
not that guy, but I use this and it works great! Most other beermoneyers I talk to use it as well
How does SBTV compare with PerkTV for you? I've used both, and IMHO SBTV is nowhere NEAR as good as Perk or Checkpoints, both of which are automatic.
If you need to know, I make about $1.50/day from 2 phones (an old iPhone 4S and an LG Optimus Exceed 2 that I bought for $15 new) running Perk and an old iPhone 3GS running Checkpoints. How does that compare with SBTV for you?
Just curious, trying to figure out the best way to handle this beermoney stuff. I'm relatively new.
People always recommend this:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00OJ79UK6/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s02?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I just got one and am very happy with it.
I've got 6 of these and I love them: https://www.amazon.com/Sabrent-Family-Sized-Charger-Technology-AX-TPCS/dp/B00OJ79UK6/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1484376823&sr=8-1&keywords=sabrent+10+port
I've been doing transcription for a number of years. You definitely need a footpedal to make any decent money. This is the standard foot pedal used. https://www.amazon.com/Infinity-Digital-Control-Computer-USB2/dp/B002MY6I7G/ref=sr_1_3?keywords=infinity+foot+pedal&qid=1572022737&sr=8-3
However, before making any foot pedal investment, if you haven't been trained or had any practice in transcription before, I'd suggest you listen to some transcription audio files (which you can get on the Internet, I'm sure) and practice typing what you hear.
I just bought a 10 port usb and a timer that's seems to be the most recommended.

.
this kind of information of watts and volts just goes over my head.
I also plan on buying another surge protector.
Get a USB powered hub, I use this one and it works fine. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00OJ79UK6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_DeCpybSJ0V1YY

Two of these hidden under the phones in the second version. The first version only held 18 phone and didn't quite fit the USB chargers.
