From what your describing, you seem like you'd like simple, non patterned things that blend well and you can mix and match, which is very much what I go for. Black and white tees during the week and generally the same "look" every single day, I like to have something different when I am not working.

Id suggest getting some cheap Ts in "earthy" tones, like that army green, grey, browns, dark yellows, burgundy, etc. that you can layer underneath easily and compliment each other with your outerwear. Earthy tones are pretty in more "urban" and are easy to mix and match. From there you can use your outerwear to spruce up the look. A good muted earthy tone shirt with blue jeans and boots is a clean, classy look that I think you are going for. I also dabble in the "long line" shirts, and for bigger dudes I think they are a godsend. Sleeves that fit right and dont look like your wearing a shirt that 2 sizes too big, and I dont have to worry about the body length on the shirt letting my gut hang out, and that drop hem is in style as well. I have about 4 pairs of this shirt https://www.amazon.com/Aiyino-Hipster-Sleeve-T-Shirt-Zipper/dp/B01I56MRYM?ref_=ast_bbp_dp

For outwear, zip up sweatshirts and flannels are key for me. I can control my temp much easier (Im fat and I sweat, so this is key) and it lets me show the shirt underneath. I have a black and a tan zip up sweatshirts, and then like 5 flannels. Only like 3 of them are plaid, the others are generic like black, dark grey, and brown i believe. The flannels are awesome becuase they are in style and you can wear one plaid flannel with multiple different undershirts for different looks. Just look at the difference between someone wearing a white t and a black t under a plaid flannel and you'll see what I mean. I am personally a fan of the short sleeve sweatshirt this time of year, best of both worlds, and it is kind of in style at the moment.

For pants/jeans, I am a huge fan of the levi 541. Lots of options there and i wear them daily to work. I personally was a sneakerhead for years and was big into the joggers/chino thing. I still wear the chino joggers and sneakers at times, and to be honest I think you should look into them. If you are wanting to show your boots and footwear more, they give you that option and give you a tailored look if you find the right fit. The pair I get is from amazon and there are a lot of options https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0195U0PDC/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Photo attached I am wearing one of my favorite short sleeve sweatshirts, black chino joggers, and some yeezy's. Earthy tones, pop of color on the shoes and pants that don't hide the footwear. Personally one of my favorite simple fits. https://imgur.com/a/i24uQjh

Nice. I've almost never been able to wear chinos, but I've recently become a fan of Lee.

I ordered some jeans on Amazon Prime Wardrobe and one of them was the Lee's Modern Series Extreme Motion Athletic Fit. It is definitely more stretchy and softer than raw demin, but they actually fit and were soooo comfortable.

I checked out some more of their other stuff and found some khaki pants in the Extreme Comfort range that would be great if they were just as comfortable. Some may not like the stitching at the top though. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LHAJYHQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_ep_dp_Qe58Ab5Q7K371

Not too familiar with the difference between chinos and khakis or Lee's Total Freedom vs Extreme Comfort but could be worth a look next time I need.

Sorry if these have come up before, but I am new to this subreddit (where have you been all my life?). I am 5'11 and around 280 -- I have found the best jeans of my life within the last year.

Lee Men's Big-Tall Modern Series Custom Fit Relaxed Straight Leg Jean

They have a great waistband that has some flex in it for not only comfort but small weight fluctuation. But the best part is that they are made with a small amount of spandex so they are super comfortable (i.e. they don't smash my balls all the time).

Okay yeah if you're a 40 waist and a 2xl-ish in stretchy pants (boxers, workout shorts, etc), then you have NO reason to go to DXL. You'll get super duper price gouged.

It depends on your style, but you could really go...almost anywhere in a modern mall. Most go up to 38, but if you hit a department store like Macy's or Nordstrom or JCPenney they should go up to 42. Don't pay full price, look for things that are on sale/clearance.

It also depends on how much you wanna spend. You could do Target pretty well, they'll carry your sizes.

For shirts it's a little bit tougher, I'm also a 3xl in shirts and I have a hard time finding well-fitted shirts in mall stores. If all you need are simple, safe t-shirts, I'd consider using Amazon's Goodthreads line. I just got like 5 t-shirts from there.

I would bet you're actually more like an XL in stretchy shorts. If that's true, the one place I'd consider splurging extra $$ is on boxer shorts. I wear Calvin Klein Micro Modal, and honestly it's a game-changer. So light weight, but so comfy. Don't ride up. I usually wait until they go on sale, you can grab a 3-pack for $40 about once a quarter.

We are different ages, so I don't wanna go too nuts on telling you exactly what to buy, but if you're really in the game for $500-ish, you can make that go a LONG ways, as long as you don't go to somewhere like DXL and pay full price.

EDIT: I'll just add, if you're dead-set on DXL, sign up for a free membership and they'll send you a $20 coupon in the mail on your birthday. (hint: you dont have to put your real birthday)

You don't have to stop wearing t-shirts altogether, but get ones that are either solid or ones that have subtle, simple graphics or patterns. Avoid wearing t-shirts that are in any way related to your school - these shirts are typically a bit garish, and when I see people wearing college t-shirts it makes them seem younger and less mature.

To start, I'd suggest buying some solid black crew neck t-shirts that fit well, like these. When paired with jeans and decent shoes, it's an easy yet polished look. They also look pretty decent with flat-front khaki shorts (just make sure the shorts don't reach your knees). Another plus is that black has a somewhat slimming effect (after all, we are on r/BigMenFashionAdvice).

This is not to say that you should keep wearing t-shirts all the time. To be sure, if you're trying to dress nicer or more professional you should be wearing collared shirts more often.

I've had a lot of luck with the Amazon's Buttoned Down brand, surprisingly. The classic fit is nice and full across the shoulders and chest, and the Supima cotton is nice. Greatest quality? No. But quite good for the price. They've proven quite durable if you follow the washing instrux, as well.

I ordered this chair last year, and it's held up great. I was about 350 last year and am at 320 now, and it seems to support me fine. The frame is all metal, and certainly seems a lot sturdier than most other chairs I've tried. It's super comfortable to boot, and the adjustable headrest means I can actually lay my head back, which is a luxury I'm not usually afforded by a desk chair

> Where they do that at?

Any place that does alterations. Should be fairly cheap, I would say around 15 USD? You don't want football player-sized shoulder pads, just a thin layer of foam to make your shoulders stick out less than they do currently and make them look a bit wider. It is a common alteration for plus-size women. I am plus-sized too and had it done to many of my shirts to balance me out. Many women's shirts already have small shoulder pads sewn in to make them look nicer on a hanger.

If you are unsure, you can buy the shoulder pads online example stick them into your shirt to see whether it looks better or not and if it looks better (I can assure you it does!), you can attach them yourself with a few stitches.

>I’m also trynna find some decent blank long sleeve shirts and others with some designs on them.

If your narrowest part are truly your hips (hard to tell with these pants), you will always look your best with shirts that have some sort of elastic at the bottom.

I've had luck with these. And Goodthreads jeans as well. Nice slim fit and they come in 40/38x28/29. Also, nice stretch to both and free try on and return with prime wardrobe.

I have this in black cloth at work and black vinyl at home. Awesome chair, comfortable for long periods, good for my messed up back, and cheap. Can't ask for anything better.

Imma just add the fit. For those looking, I love the Yeezy’s but this fit could work with any white shoes.

Gildan hoodie

Levi 541, Got mines at DXL

Yeezy Triple White on the feet. Like I said I personally believe this works with any white shoes and it MIGHT actually look a little better with the Fila Disruptor 2 or maybe some Nike Air Force 1, MAYBE.

I'm 6'1 325 and this pack was the perfect size. It's actually pretty big and nicely made. It's lasted 10 years and was only recently replaced with a satchel.

i have several of these jeans. I love them. Best jeans ive ever owned.

These Dockers were surprisingly nice. Have a similar stretchy thing to the 541's. I wear the 42x32.

I'm not sure how accessible it would be in Sweden, but I got a hoodie Amazon's Essentials line last year, and it's been great. They have a whole bunch of plain colors and some stripes. No logo.

I typically wear a 2X in t-shirts and the XXL size hoodie fits me just fine.
