My method for photography is pretty simple. Get two large white poster boards and tape them together, then tape them down to a chair (so the bottom and back of the chair are covered in poster board). Set that up outside on a clear, sunny day, in the shade. It helps to have a good camera of course, I was lucky to get one for free from a Lost & Found box.

In my experience it is imperative to increase the brightness of the photo, here's a simple guide for increasing brightness in photoshop.

I usually also increase the saturation a little bit.

I take 3-4 photos of each pose, from slightly different angles, and choose which one I like the best.

Here's the camera I use.

Please correct anything that you think I'm doing wrong, I'm quite the photography noob myself.

I'll edit this in a minute with a before/after brightness-increase.

Edit: Raw photo, enhanced photo. The second photo had increased brightness, slightly increased saturation, and a crop job.

Edit 2: If you do take photos outside, be wary of the clouds. If the sun is covered by a cloud when you take the photo, the lighting will be very blue. For example.

Sure.

Papercutz' mildly eye-searing official shop. Not completely sure they're still all in stock but I'm confident.

Volumes #5, #6, #7, #8, and #9 on Amazon, with varying degrees of availability.

Finally, digital versions with free previews on Comixology. Complete lack of volumes #5 and #9, defying all logic. Best go somewhere else.

So for whatever reason, on my computer reddit gives me an error page when I try to go to the /u/TheChiefArchivist's user page, and so I cant message him, and will therefore be posting here instead.

Unfortunately, I agree with /u/_802. While I don't mind streaming online movies, I am uncomfortable with someone on the sub hosting them, when they are still technically available to buy, or depending where you live, on services like Netflix. As we hope to be the 'official bionicle subreddit," I feel obligated to protect Lego's interest in this issue. Please remove the files within 48 hours or I will have to.

And while I do realise that some people do want to watch the movies, let me show you the way that I had to watch them. Stream them fine, but please don't host pirated content. Also, more people buying/renting Bionicle movies shows Lego that there is still interest.

If you ever want to make more transparent masks, I highly recommend Future...oh right they changed the name. [Johnson bought it off] (https://www.amazon.com/Johnson-Pledge-Floor-Multi-Surface-Finish/dp/B000ARPH4C/ref=sr_1_1_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1478320050&sr=8-1&keywords=Future+shine+floor+wax), but it's the same formula. What you do is pour a bit into a cup, mix in a little dye/acrylic paint to your desired color, and then dip the mask in and leave it in there. No chance of mask melting/deforming, and a nice and clean process.

I have the Official Guide to Bionicle. I can scan the pages tomorrow if you'd like, I know it isn't a novel, but it's definitely important. A lot of pictures in the book though.

It's from this really cool line of animal-themed figures from a couple years ago. This one is called Chi Razar. They're really cheap on Amazon, and their unique parts work so well with the huge Bionicle catalog. The lion and eagle characters are pretty wicked too.

If you're looking for a grammar guide, check out The Elements of Style by William Strunk Jr. and E.B. White. I found that my grammar improved significantly after reading this little book.

Are you sure? What's this then?

Actually, there are two Bionicle Encyclopedias.

Also, there's Bionicle World, a somewhat short but very in-depth book on the history, cultures, inhabitants etc of multiple islands and places within the Matoran Universe.
