Ive started using whipped shea butter with tea tree oil and it's worked wonders for my acne. Shea butter is extremely moisturizing and has a comedogenic rating of 0, meaning it does not clog pores. The tea tree oil is a great additive due to it's anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties which helps clear and prevent acne. You can add other good stuff to it as well like rose oil or vitamin E.
First I mix the shea butter with my regular hand mixer until its smooth and fluffy. Then I measure about 6oz of the whip and add in 10mL of 100% tea tree oil (about 1 little bottle). I only use this at night as it doesn't fare well under foundation.
During the day I use Gold Bond Strength & Resilience. It doesn't 'eradicate' pimples but it makes my skin smoother and keeps me moisturized without being hella oily.
For my severe breakouts I use 50/50 AmLactin and benzoyl peroxide cream as an overnight treatment. I dont recommend this because the benzoyl peroxide has the potential to exacerbate acne scars
