I sometimes get the the packs from the craft store (but have to take out the little ones because they eat them) but I found a good set on amazon that mine love. He likes to play fetch. And when he loses it, walks around crying until I find the specific color he wants. Nevermind the other dozen in the toy box.

I now have eight cats and 5 auto litter boxes. I use lightweight litter and buy maybe one 17lb bucket a month (~$20). Clean up involves emptying the little buckets like once a week. I built a little shelving unit to create a wall of litter boxes. Works great.
