Rtings.com is a good review site to compare specific models.
IMO, you should get a TCL Roku TV if you are on a budget. If good HDR is important to you get the P series. The P series offers one of the best smart tv interfaces out right now, 3 HDMI ports, deep black levels (not OLED good) but good for the price. If you just want a good 4k set, and don't care about high quality HDR, get the S series. They are both good values at amazon right now with out a black friday deal. I'm not sure but I doubt they will be discounted much more. OLED is top of the line in terms of picture quality. Currently OLED is only made by LG and Sony. I prefer the LG mainly for its smart tv interface but both are remarkable. Perfect black levels are among the many positive qualities of OLED. Both the 2017 OLEDs I mentioned support 4k Dolby Vision and HDR 10 (so does the TCL P series.) Just be aware of burn in with OLEDs. Might want to get a warranty for your expensive TV. Good luck!

I love the T5i! It's a fun and quality camera that shoots pretty good video (as well as some great photo). In my opinion it's not as good as the D7100, but it's not trying to compete with that. The T5i compares to a Nikon D5100.

In any case, I think it's a great camera. For this deal specifically, the 18-55 bundle is good, but I'd get the bundle+free accessories and this lens; then you're all set.

I'll warn you though that there's a slight learning curve if you've never used a DSLR before - the folks (and sidebar) at /r/photography definitely can help you there!

If you'd prefer a much simpler, but quality camera I'd recommend looking into a mirrorless system. They're all the rage nowadays and are quite excellent for the "people who want good cameras but aren't photographers" group.

Bought it a year ago so can't find that exact one anymore, but you can find one with better specs (ex: a vega 8 or so) for like $450-550 pre-tax.

Looking up "vega 8" on Amazon showed this laptop for cheaper and it's objectively better - and that's just the first result.

https://www.amazon.com/ASUS-VivoBook-R5-3500U-Graphics-F512DA-EB51/dp/B07QQB7552/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?keywords=vega+8+laptop&qid=1574971922&sr=8-3

Again, first result I looked at. Can probably find better at that price if you look around. You definitely can do better than a intel hd 6000 with an 128gb SSD at $679.

This is better than the OP's laptop at $400...

Highly recommend the Xiaomi Mai Gen 2/Roborock S50. Not only is it cheaper than the Roomba, it cleans better and more methodically. Check out the COMMENTS section here: https://thewirecutter.com/reviews/best-robot-vacuum/

It is on amazon for $400 after a coupon now: https://smile.amazon.com/Roborock-Robotic-Connectivity-Navigating-Capacity/dp/B0792BWMV4

I have one and so far it has been amazing, it cleans thoroughly and has zero issues. The dust bin is always full when I empty it after the occasional cleaning, meaning it does its job really well. However, the company also does Facebook giveaways and promos - I got mine for $350 because of a discount code that I won by participating in a promo. For value AND efficiency, I really can't recommend this enough. But, do your own research as well - this is a big purchase. Don't just go with a Roomba because it's popular - the wirecutter article and comments, especially, are a good place to start reading.

Recently bought a self help book of sorts from a gentleman who writes amazing newsletter articles about organizing your life.

He covers alot, not just organization and beating procrastination; things like raising self esteem, and overall get-better/better-yourself things.
The writing is a perfect, as its foremost functional realistic approaches, sprinkled with self rationalized motivation, all wrapped in clear and concise writting.

So glad his first book was a big hit in the public eye.

Acer Nitro 5 GTX 1050 gaming laptop - $649 ($150 off)

Jacket from Sears - $36 ($24 off)

Overwatch game of the year edition - $30 ($30 off)

Elepawl mechanical keyboard with blue switches, free shipping - $35 ($15 off) (The deal is still going on btw https://www.amazon.com/dp/B073J7YCKZ. I just got mine today and it feels very similar to the Razer Blackwidow. I don't see why you need to pay so much for a mech keyboard. I'm in love with this one already)

Variety of smaller items from Best Buy, shipped for free - $110 (~$130 off)

Bought 5 Steam games that were 50% off - ~$35 (~$35 off)

Total spent was about $900 + warranties + tax. I saved about $400.

has anyone else noticed how some "deals" on Amazon are not really deals. Ive noticed a trend, specifically in headphones because that was what I was shopping for, where I will find a $100+ pair of headphones hugely discounted down to the $15-$30 range. However, reading through some of the reviews it is apparent that these are usually this cheap. I found the pair that ive linked which from just looking at it, it looks like an amazing deal. But one of the first reviews states that it is "the best earbuds under $50." Has anyone else noticed this with other products? it seems like companies are marking up prices then "discounting" them to make them more appealing. Why does amazon even allow this? https://www.amazon.com/Phaiser-BHS-730-Bluetooth-Headphones-Sweatproof/dp/B01C228T7E/ref=br_msw_pdt-3?_encoding=UTF8&smid=A2USI5V0UGHXEQ&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=&pf_rd_r=RZJFWZ3CMPERQ18WTAC0&pf_rd_t=36701&pf_rd_p=116d466e-b03c-41b6-a7b3-b7e1feb9b83e&pf_rd_i=desktop

We donate 10% of all net proceeds to Care.org and are offering 20% off tokens from Thanksgiving through Giving Tuesday.

Please visit our website at gratitudetoken.org/givethanks/ and share with us your stories of kindness and generosity.

We also sell them through Etsy and Amazon, if you prefer going through a known website, but unfortunately we don't have sales in these shops at this time.

So, 1) What I found was the $38.00 base price plus about $2.50 tax, it came with free shipping so about $40.50 per. There was a 2/per person limit though. You can buy them right now and get it shipped or you can pick it up, it seems like an all week sale, not just on black Friday. Modern warfare here 2) Yes, they send you a code through email, I found a sale which seems legit at $36.00/per, Here's a link that talks about it. If it were me, I would buy it through PlayStation. 3) It seems as if the black Friday sale price is $39.99. On the Playstation website, you get to select from twelve different colors and you get free shipping. 4) Black ops 4 is about $32.99 on Amazon with free shipping here.

I hope this helps if you need anything else, ring trashioli spicoli!

Well...I purchased something last night on amazon. Specifically this item:

https://www.amazon.com/Acer-Display-Graphics-Keyboard-A515-43-R19L/dp/B07RF1XD36/ref=sxin_3_ac_d_rm?ac_md=0-0-YWNlciBhc3BpcmUgNQ%3D%3D-ac_d_rm&gclid=Cj0KCQiAoIPvBRDgARIsAHsCw09sinDe3xhMOH0ek4QRn_utDC9ITtZIrW-JTy2mwGiqaQnwoUcUIDYaAl_OEALw_wcB&hvadid=323377936460&hvdev=c&hvlocphy=9004250&hvnetw=g&hvqmt=b&hvrand=2069404303140467969&hvtargid=kwd-387400947485&hydadcr=25648_10973432&keywords=acer+aspire+5&pd_rd_i=B07RF1XD36&pd_rd_r=957467c3-818d-484d-8cde-be0c1a0cd2bd&pd_rd_w=xWpFx&pd_rd_wg=qe28F&pf_rd_p=e2f20af2-9651-42af-9a45-89425d5bae34&pf_rd_r=ZT7X9XTX24ZKKM5FJX6Z&psc=1&qid=1575038297&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER

It was $50 more last night at midnight. I contacted Customer Service because the item hasn't shipped yet but I couldn't cancel it because it's just about to ship. It was already reduced. I didn't think it was going to be reduced more. Anyway, the CS rep promised me that they would give a refund of the $50 once I receive the item on Sunday but I didn't realize it was going to pop me out of the chat the second it was ended. I didn't get a screenshot. He said he made notes on the order that he promised me the price adjustment. Hope I don't get burned because that $50 can be used on a stick of additional RAM I need to put in the machine. Anyone have any experience with this? Hoping it works. I missed the cheaper price by like a few hours.

EDIT: Just want to update that it worked but I am fairly certain it's because I caught it before the item shipped.

u/XXMyNameIsPatrickXX · 2 pointsr/blackfriday

The shipping is $5 if you are not a member. Membership costs $5, so you might as well get a month membership for the same price as shipping. Membership gives you free shipping on all their items. this website has a new sale everyday, and I can say I'm addicted. Definitely a good website near the holidays.

here is the link to the breathalyzer on amazon, check out the reviews

I don't work for them in anyway btw. just a fan of the site

u/KnashDavis · 1 pointr/blackfriday

Yeah I definitely have a V1 or V2. If I really cared to look I could get under my desk and look but I don't really want to haha. That's too much work.

I've actually got the kraken on my list that I'm looking at. I've found some ok reviewed headphones for like $20. They're USB only though. Here.

u/Judge_Of_Things · 1 pointr/blackfriday

Have this TCL for a couple years now, absolutely no regrets. Sure it's not the same as a super upscale TV, but honestly I have never regretted my purchase at all. Pair it with a decent soundbar (this is what I have currently) and it's a great experience!

u/3DPrintedWaffles · 1 pointr/blackfriday

Looking for a high quality office chair at or below $150.

The biggest factor in my choice is the most healthy/ergonomic for long sits behind the desk.

I don't really like the look of the "gaming/racing style" chairs, but a little bit of a sporty flair to it is cool by me.

The best I've found so far are:

Thank you!
