It sounds kind of useless, but it really isn't, at least for me.

I didn't have a mouse pad 5 years back, and 3 years ago I got this crappy mouse pad made out of hard plastic for like $2, didn't work too well. 2 years ago, having bought a really nice mouse & keyboard set, I went ahead and got a decent (and quite pricey...) mouse pad as well.

Best decision ever. It just feels so smooth, it's like you barely have to push the mouse around to move the cursor, it doesn't make your hand as tired and also helps with precision. I don't know if you play (online) video games, but in that case it helps even more.

Now, I'm by no means an expert on the matter, but in my opinion the mouse pad I have is really good, in case you're wondering this is it (King-size 3mm). There are probably better ones around, though that one is not too expensive, and is durable (mine is pretty much as good as new).

I know all those "tech" terms they use sound kind of shady ("Heat-blasted Nano Matrix"), and are probably marketing crap, but truth be told, it really feels like a unique sort of texture, the mouse pad has these small fibers that almost look like pixels when you look up close, it really makes for a very smooth surface, very different from a wooden table. It's hard to describe heh.

TL;DR: Get a decent mouse pad it's awesome!

I'm not sure how well received this will be, but I figured if you guys love the show as much as I do maybe it'd interest you. This blue rock candy on amazon looks pretty much just like the stuff they use on the show. And it's also really good. Here's the link to it on amazon

Really good work.

If I can give some suggestions, I know mechanical pencils are kind of ubiquitous in schools, but I would try drawing more with thicker leads. Wooden pencils, woodless pencils, or staedtler mechanical pencils will help you with form and depth. Also using different lead types can help you in the long run. You seem to have a heavy hand (or really dark lead, going to guess it's 2B), playing around with 2H lead might help you save more time of drawing and erasing. (If you want more info let me know, I'm going to stop here because I feel like I'm rambling).

Keep at it, and never fall into the trap of being insecure about your work.

It's funny because I was really into The Walking Dead and for years I put off reading Invincible. After reading Invincible I pretty much wish Robert Kirkman would devote more time to it.

The Invincible books have really nice binding and feel great after multiple reads, The Walking Dead have similar books.

There is the official BaD Tour from the ABQ Trolly Co. that is pretty good. Informative guides with anecdotes and fun facts from personal experience on and around set. They have trivia contests with goofy little BrBa or ABQ themed prizes. They also show some clips from the show that pertain to the set you are at.

There is also the Breaking Bad Experience tour that is run by The Candy Lady, the independent candy shop that made the original rock candy used for the meth in the show. They go to the same locations, however the major differences is that that tour is done in an RV that looks nearly identical to the one on the show. Weather you take that tour or not, be sure to stop by the shop to buy your meth as well as to look at the selection of unique shirts and BrBa merchandise only available there.

If you're not looking for an official tour and just want to do your own, Marc Valdez maintained a high detailed blog that maps out every location from small time placement shots to big event scenes. If you are feeling generous, or want a physical guide that doesn't require the internet, he also published a book of the locations.

Personally, if you are a extremely devoted fan, the self-tour is the best option. The official tours are fun, but they can get expensive for big groups and only take you to the convenient main stops. You also spend almost all of the time driving by in the trolly and not stopping. So if you want nice pictures that dont have blurry backgrounds and heads in the way, you'll have to stop yourself.

The Mezco figures are pretty nice. They barely move but they look good and they're super cheap for figures.

The Phoenix Wright games are pretty much a visual novel. The controls are point and click and the game itself is split into two mode: investigation and courtroom. In investigation mode, one will go to various locations looking for evidence and talking to witnesses, detectives, the defendant, etc. In the court room, one will be at the defense bench and find contradictions in the witness's testimony by using the evidence that the player has found during the investigation. It is a really great game and it is avalible for $5 on iOS and Wiiware. Good luck finding a DS copy though, the prices are ridiculous.

5", $2.48 with free shipping. Has good instructions and applies great. I haven't had anything happen and it's even been out in the rain a few times.

Chew definitely has a similar feel as well. Highly recommended to anyone interested in picking up a new comic or trade.

I bought each episode, one at a time as they came out, from Amazon Instant. But the season is almost over, and that means you'd have to pay $21+ total for the currently released episodes. Much more difficult to justify than the $1.99 a week I paid, but the videos are great quality (don't buy the HD episodes, there isn't much of a difference imo and it's a ripoff for a dollar extra), and you can download them to your computer and keep them legally. I'm not gonna judge if you decide to just watch the episodes on streaming sites, I'm just letting you know how I've been doing it.

You can buy it for $6.46/lb.

I realize that making something yourself is very satisfying, but in this case, I'm gonna take the easy way out.

Here's something that I found online that's similar to what you wanted, but there's a much better feature on that subject on the season four DVD!

I own Breaking Bad and Philosophy

It's a good read! Definitely recommend it.

Even more rare, the [Limited Edition barrel] (https://www.amazon.com/Breaking-Bad-Complete-Limited-Blu-ray/dp/B00PZ56WPW), signed by Cranston and Gilligan. Wow, that is not what I'd consider affordable.

u/hankscorpio83 · 2 pointsr/breakingbad

You can buy them even before they air. :)

Here or Here are good places to start.

Link for those interested. If you check out the "Customers Who Bought This Item Also Bought" section, I think you'll be mildly amused for 5 to 7 seconds.

I've been wanting to buy the LOST complete series but it seems to be out of print since the price is ridiculously expensive. Just like BB's special edition set with the gold barrel

u/laurandisorder · 1 pointr/breakingbad

I have 'Breaking Bad and Philosophy' a collection of essays. I haven't gotten around to it yet, but it looks promising. Published in 2010.

If you can be patient, the season 4 DVD ships on June 5th. Alternately, you can watch season 4 through Amazon streaming.

u/Lazverinus · 1 pointr/breakingbad

If you're not looking for a criminal download, you can get it legally at $2 (standard def) or $3 (high def) per episode on Amazon.
