Most of the monitors here are free sync and I would say have good implementations however I will include a Gsync category.

I would not recommend 4k for the 2080. It would be able to run games around 60 fps at 4k however refresh rate will make things more enjoyable. Also, 4k high refresh rate monitors are currently very expensive.

Good value companies to look at:
Viotek
Pixio (Did not list since availability issues but worth looking at)
Nixeus

More established companies to look at:
Acer
Asus
Samsung
LG
Gigabyte (They have one monitor on the market)

TL;DR of VA vs IPS
IPS has slightly better viewing angles than VA.
IPS has slightly better colors VA.
IPS has better response time than VA.
However, VA does not have defects like IPS glow and much better contrast, so much better blacks and such.

TL;DR of TN vs IPS
IPS has much better viewing angles than TN. TN will color shift if looked at straight on.
IPS has much better colors than TN.
TN has the best response rate.
TN is basically worse in every way than VA and IPS except for response time.

No need to apologize. I certainly haven't owned every board out there, so the best I can do is take a look at reviews to feature set with you.
So first, let's decide some things.
Do you want a backlight? If so, does it need to be RGB?
What size board do you prefer? I would suggest going no lower than tenkeyless if you're using it at all for some professional work, only because it could temporarily slow down your work rate because some keys will be in different positions or missing entirely. This may take getting used to. If you're up for that, that's cool too. Full size boards have a numberpad, some are larger with "macro" keys. There are variations with fewer keys, that maybe don't have arrow keys etc. and are slightly smaller. Then there's tenkeyless, which has no numbpad, and then smaller variations often with no function keys or arrow keys, with their functions require key combos.
We've got a price range, and we're going for mechanical, but I'm wondering how much branding and brand names matter to you. There are some boards out there with big logos, and they can be ugly as sin, doesn't affect functionality, but cosmetics are worth considering on something you look at daily. Next, do you need a brand that's "famous?" It may be hard to find a RAZER, Corsair, CoolerMaster, or other big names in the industry under $40, depending on your required feature set.
Finally, that brings us to switch type. There's a lot of brands of switch style, and if I had to guess, you're probably gonna have trouble finding Cherry MX, the most iconic switch type, in this range. That said, some of the "copy" switches are nearly identical and have pretty solid build quality, differences only noticeable by the most sensitive of typists. So here's a quick break down of the most popular switch types:
Blue: Tactile Bump during actuation, can feel it and hear it(loudest switch, clicks on bump, clacks when the key "bottoms out" or is pressed all the way down)
Brown: Very light tactile bump(I don't really feel it if I've just been typing on my blue or Razer green switch board), makes a sound when bottoming out. This is considered the happy medium, somewhat silent, can be made very quiet with an accessory, still had tactile feedback.
Red: Silent, linear switches. Not whisper silent, but much quieter, no noise or tactile bump when the keypress is actuated. I really don't think you'll be able to snag a new board with these.
Black: Silent, almost exactly like reds, but require more force to press down, they're not too popular as people complain they make their fingers tired. However, I see them a lot under budget boards.
The Blue, Brown and Reds are the most common. There are more switches out there, and some brands use different colors to associate the style, but the styles are largely the same.
I'm gonna link(not affiliate links) some boards, just to show the styles and backlighting options off, these are mostly a bit out of your price range, but this should give you a general idea of what they look like, and how much extra things like RGB cost:
Pretty standard tenkeylessboard: https://www.amazon.com/TOMOKO-Water-Resistant-Mechanical-Keyboard-Non-Conflicting/dp/B01DBJTZU2/ref=sr_1_31?ie=UTF8&qid=1520206833&sr=8-31&keywords=rgb+mechanical+keyboard
A compact board, I believe it's a 75% variation: https://www.amazon.com/Element-Mechanical-Keyboard-Waterproof-Anti-Ghosting/dp/B01FXF7HFC/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1520205858&sr=8-4&keywords=rgb+mechanical+keyboard
Tenkeyless RGB: https://www.amazon.com/Keyboard-Mechanical-Redragon-illuminated-ABS-Metal/dp/B019O9BLVY/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1520205858&sr=8-5&keywords=rgb+mechanical+keyboard
Fullsize board, the standard: https://www.amazon.com/Element-Mechanical-Programmable-Waterproof-Anti-Ghosting/dp/B073QPDZHQ/ref=sr_1_45?ie=UTF8&qid=1520206906&sr=8-45&keywords=rgb+mechanical+keyboard
Now, these are mostly "cheap" brands, in that they're not ultra famous like RAZER, or Corsair, etc. But, these are some of the more highly rated boards. Of course, you absolutely do not have to buy from amazon either, and these are mostly out of the range, so please get back to me on the style and backlighting options you'd like. I think one of these "knock off" brands will be your best bet, particularly if you want backlighting. Other users are of course free to offer advice too.
Once you tell me, generally, the size, and switch type we're after, we can try to find some boards that are on sale, not just the stuff I quickly found that was relatively cheap and well reviewed. Sometimes you can get something that seems a decent price, for even less if you watch and wait. So that might be worth considering too.
Please let me know your preferences, and I hope my explanations were somewhat clear.
Yes! Let me help you as I was just helping another friend pick a laptop for the same reason.
So these are the best ones I found using that ebay deal:
Then there are some other options on Amazon that are in the same price range. I suggest purchasing the used versions through Amazon Warehouse for a huge discount (that's what I did and it was in perfect condition).
These all have similar specs but vary in terms of hard drives and processors (like i5 vs i7). The first one here is actually the one I bought a year ago and currently using it right now. I haven't had any problems with it yet and it has a fantastic battery and it's really easy to upgrade parts. It comes with a 256GB M.2 SSD and also has an empty 2.5" HD slot so you can just toss in an extra HD.
The second one comes with a drive in the 2.5" slot but you can still add an M.2 drive as well. The difference being the 1st one has an i5 with 4 cores and the 2nd is an i7 with 4 cores+Hyperthreading (so more powerful as a workstation). Same battery, graphics card and screen though.
This last one is another Asus through Amazon. Similar specs as others but it has a really big SSD, although it doesn't come with a second HD bay for additional storage and instead has a CD drive.
Hope this helps!!
Here's a Ryzen 5 2600 for just $150 w/ free shipping (and inc. stock cooler obv, even if the Stealth is nothing to write home about), which provides simlar perfomance (and superior IPC if you can believe it, with Zen+ edging out both Haswell-E & Broadwell-E) stock vs stock to an i7-6850K in both single & multi-threaded workloads (unless it's something extremely memory bound, that can properly take advantage of X99's quad-channel DDR4), but running cooler, quieter, more efficient, and for just 1/2 the price for a brand new chip that's on a current AND future-proof platform with great boards available for just $70ish.
AM4 has pretty much made every single pre-X299 Intel HEDT platform essentially obsolete for those that don't need it's expanded I/O & memory sub-systems (which Intel would still gimp to varying extents on all but the flagship SKU anyways), and for those people that's what AMD's X399/Threadripper platform is for (which beats X299/ Skylake-X|Cascade Lake-X across the board on both those fronts).
And if your workload priorities happen to lean towards the multi-threaded side, 1st Gen but 8c/16t R7 1700's (which will lose on ST, but dominate on MT vs an i7-6850K after both are reasonably overclocked) are a similar price new as the 2600, and w/ a bigger, better included cooler (Spire RGB vs Stealth).
Literally Intel's only remaining purchasing arguments are for those few who want the best single-threaded perfomance available, totally irregardless of cost/value (see the i9-9900K), and those unlucky few whose workload(s) leave them dependant on Thunderbolt support (which is exactly why freely licensable USB 3.1 Gen 2 [10Gb/s, aka 1.25GB/s, or equal BW to TB1] compatible devices should have been widely available like damn yesterday).

I just got this Pecham XXL mouse pad on Amazon for $10 about a week ago, I'm super happy with it, although I wish they would have put the starting/finishing point of the edge stitching at the top-left instead of the bottom-left.
It's half the price, great quality and seems like it'll last me forever. I've only ever owned a wristrest from Glorious (given free for review) and I really wasn't thrilled with the quality of it especially considering the retail price.
If you're looking on the budget end, these keyboards will all be on sale tomorrow:
The first 2 are pretty regularly posted on this sub. The 3rd is highly recommended on /r/MechanicalKeyboards as a good budget board (though the more expensive Gateron keys are preferred). I'm not familiar with the 4th, but it looks like it could be the same as a MechanicalEagle with a different badge.
Here is a link that finds all of those keyboards except the Qisan (#3), which is filed under "Electronics" and "Video Games > Accessories" rather than "Computers & Accessories". It should also keep populating in case more keyboards show up, since deals are only posted 24 hours in advance. You should be able to change the price range, but I don't remember seeing any mechanical keyboards for $50+. You can also "Watch" the deals from that link so you are notified when they go live.
Hope this helps, and good luck finding a board!
Sennheiser HD558 is just outside of your upper bracket by $2.99 on Amazon right now. I've never heard them, but having heard the HD598 recently, the HD558 should be a great candidate for you. The only downside would be these are open-back headphones, so they will leak a bit of sound and you can hear everything as if you don't have a headphone on at all.
For a closed-back headphone at that price range, lots of people recommends Creative Aurvana Live!, Sony MDR-V6, and Jaycar Pro Monitor Headphones (which is the same as this but less expensive). If you're into modding stuff, Fostex T50RP is considered one of the best headphone for modding and there's plenty of documentation online. Granted it is a tad over your upper bracket as well, thank the modders for that :D
Hm ok. I would recommend you go to your nearest Microcenter/Fry’s/other DIY PC store and test out what types of switches you like best.
OR
You could order a cheap mech kb with cherry clones from Amazon to try out for a while before splurging on an expensive one. Most of the highly reviewed clones on Amazon are Gaterons, Outemus, or Kaihls.
Here’s a blue clone (unsure of what type exactly) that some of my friends have used with good reviews
Thanks for the response! Much appreciated. Any thoughts on how it might compare to https://www.amazon.com/d/Monitors/27-Inch-Monitor-Samsung-FreeSync-GamePlus/B078P57ZWL/ref=sr_1_19?ie=UTF8&qid=1543191479&sr=8-19&keywords=freesync+monitor+144hz ?
Are MSI, Acer, ASUS, Samsung and ViewSonic typically considred better buys than companies like Pixio, Nixeus, Visiontek etc...? just curious and asking questions ha ha
Glad to hear it! Hope you enjoy it, it's really cool! If you run into tracking issues with the controllers I definitely recommend these two things (and using them in a USB 2.0 slot if possible):

For home use only (or on-the-go if you're brave, these all leak sound):
Sennheiser HD558
Sennheiser HD518
AKG K240
Audio-Technica ATH-AD500X
Grado SR80e
For both at home or on the go:
Shure SRH440 *
V-Moda Crossface M80
Sennheiser Momentum on-ear
Sony MDRV6 *
have longer cables.
It's not so much a durability thing but a usability thing. You won't to hear everything going you in the subway while listening to music, and the people around you don't want to hear your music either. So that is why I recommend open headphones for home-use only, and closed back if you need pair for both applications.
For the most these headphones are easy to drive, and you should be able to power them straight out of your phone or computer.
I highly suggest reading reviews for all of these as they are very different from each other. My personal* picks for each application:
At home:
Grado Sr80e
Both:
Sennheiser momentum
Also check out /r/headphones and head-fi.org, both are great resources.
If you're in need of a mic stand to go with it, this seems to be a popular one
Edit: So I've set it up and tested it and the mic sounds great. It doesn't pick up any of my key presses or mouse clicks although you just have to mess with the thresholds and gain a little to suit your room and whatnot. The Neewer stand is nice also; easy mount and easy to move around
Do you know if you like blue style switches? If you have a Microcenter near you you can test the switches out.
IMO, blue style and brown style are the most "normal." I have Cherry MX browns in mine and I love it. When I tested the blues, I liked them as well, however, I wasn't a fan of the click sound.
Having never had this keyboard, $20 isn't a bad intro, but I wouldn't expect much. It would be a good way to see if you like mechanical keyboards or not.
Here's one that's been recommended by Linus for $30.
Round-up review of cheap mechanical keyboards by Linus.
Edit: Another $30 keyboard on Amazon
You seem to be pretty knowledgeable, so maybe you'll have some input for me. I jumped on this yesterday as my girlfriend really wants to start making videos, but doesn't have a clue what she needs as far as video/audio recording etc. Anyways, I bought this setup to attach to my desk and use as a recording station. I don't know much about boom arms, or windscreens (and the quality thereof). I've just seen them used and Amazon suggested them and they seemed like a good deal so I jumped on them. Was surfing around after making the order, and was seeing some much more expensive boom arms, etc.. Got me to thinking maybe I bought something junky, as I have a huge pet peeve of buying quality if it's worth the extra few dimes.
Anyways, sorry for the wall of text, was just wondering what people think of this setup, given everything i just said about what I'm looking for;

This board is a decent deal mainly because of the keycaps. I'd say if you want a cheaper entry level, go with one of these with blue switches: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01DBJTZU2/
Build quality is there, you're just getting the Outemu switches . I personally think they're better than Cherry. IMO, the better deal is to buy that board then look into buying a set of PBT keycaps that appeal to you.
I think the Caps/Num/Scroll lock LEDs look terrible on the Cooler Master board, but it looks like its LED backlight-bro lighting is pretty good if that sort of thing floats your boat.
This mic was probably my favorite purchase. Friends comment that the voice quality is stunning. I would recommend getting the Neewer mount for about 15 dollars if you're on a budget, this mic does pick up a lot of vibrations with the table stand it comes with. Also, purchase a metal 5/8 to 3/8 mic adapter if you do order the Neewer mount, the plastic one that comes with the Neewer mount is a piece of shit whose threads strip like nobody's business.
Edit: provided links
Link to Neewer Scissor Mount $12.50
Link to 5/8 adapter $4.95
Link to Rode PSA1 Mount if you have money to spend $98.79
EDIT 2: u/Mebbwebb stated the Neewer mount might not come with the tightening knob for the Mic. In that case you would have to use a wrench to tighten the mount where the Mic attaches to the arm. The Neewer mount I have has a tightening knob. He has linked an offer that includes a tightening knob plus the mount he linked is cheaper and comes with a free Google Cardboard promotion.

Your computer already has a perfectly good DAC, all you need is an amp like this that is strong enough for speakers.
https://www.amazon.com/SMSL-50Wx2-TDA7492-Amplifier-Adapter/dp/B00F0H8TOC/ref=pd_cp_107_1?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B00F0H8TOC&pd_rd_r=9J1EVP1WJ1JDT55R1HG5&pd_rd_w=adQdf&pd_rd_wg=H6jUP&psc=1&refRID=9J1EVP1WJ1JDT55R1HG5
I paid $260 for the 1440p version of this. I would have definitely went with this one if it was such a good price a week ago. It's probably not worth returning my current monitor to save $80...
Your post is one of the best deals this sub has seen on a cheap 144hz monitors
For smaller monitors their 17-27" model is really good, on sale for 21 right now: https://www.amazon.com/North-Bayou-Monitor-Computer-14-3lbs/dp/B01AI2YGK4/
Obviously doesn't compete with high end mounts. Maxes out at 9" over my desk with a 24" monitor, which I wish was a little higher, but it seems like most issues people have with these are with obtuse instructions. Considering it is made in china, and sold by unknown brand, I was pleasantly surprised by it's sturdiness.
Yeah man, no problem.
I hate myself for getting into things AFTER the sale is over. But think of it this way - the BF bundle had white M50x's. I personally don't like the white M50x's, especially because they get dirty easily. I know there were other deals like giving gift cards and such, but I can't recall exactly.
Nevermind, the best BF deal was the white Blue Yeti + the black M50x's for 159.99.
Now I hate myself a little more.White ones suck anyway. In any case, today, I ended up getting the blackout edition Blue Yeti for little over 100 from Amazon, and the HD 598 from Amazon for little over 150 (I, again, missed the BF deal for 100).
If you only play games in your room and like to watch movies and listen to music on a headset, go for a USB mic like the Blue Yeti and an open headset. The M50x's are closed, so you should be better off with the HD 598's, or even the HD 558 that is on sale right now on Amazon for 80 bucks.
I have these speakers, they are amazing. Blows any logitech or computer speakers out of the water in every way possible (quality, clarity, etc.) in my opinion.
Here are what you will need to connect these speakers to your PC.
AMP, copper cables, banana plugs, and RCA to 3.5mm cables.
I recommend this amp since I am using it myself: https://www.amazon.com/SMSL-50Wx2-TDA7492-Amplifier-Adapter/dp/B00F0H8TOC/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1482259592&sr=8-1&keywords=SMSL+50
Feel free if you have any questions.
Yes, it's the [G502] (https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Proteus-Tunable-Customizable-Surface/dp/B00IRHE892) for a little less than the [G502] (https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Proteus-Tunable-Customizable-Surface/dp/B00IRHE892) you can pick up a [Logitech G600] (https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Gaming-Backlit-Programmable-Buttons/dp/B0086UK7IQ) with more buttons and 3 modes and ability to have 2 layers on each of the three modes.
The [G502] (https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Proteus-Tunable-Customizable-Surface/dp/B00IRHE892) has something the [G600] (https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Gaming-Backlit-Programmable-Buttons/dp/B0086UK7IQ) doesn't though, the [G502] (https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Proteus-Tunable-Customizable-Surface/dp/B00IRHE892) can have the weight changed, and also can go from click to click to "hyper-fast" on scroll wheel.
The [G600] (https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Gaming-Backlit-Programmable-Buttons/dp/B0086UK7IQ) I personally can vouch for being a great mouse, according to others the [G502] (https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Proteus-Tunable-Customizable-Surface/dp/B00IRHE892) is good, however the left-click goes out fairly often apparently.
Currently I'm using this which is overkill for these speakers, but I got it for a good price and I wanted something that could comfortably power beefier speakers down the line.
The old recommendation was to get a Lepai 2020a, but since those no-longer use the Tripath chips, I'd go with something like the SMSL SA36 or SA50.

I think that's what's in the Redragon and they seem fine to me. I find the keyboard very pleasant to type on. My son plays CS:GO a lot and he says that KB is great for it.
Again, I don't use that one daily, it's on my son's PC. My own 2 keyboards that I actually use have Cherry blues and browns.
If you do need a new SSD you'd be better off getting 1TB instead:
Samsung has the 860 EVO M.2 1TB for the same price as two of these.
Same with Microcenter (in-store only) but with the SATA III version.
Amazon for $168.
To be honest, you might as well wait two months for Black Friday. Chances are if they're this low now, especially given how many places have them on sale for this price, it'll be much cheaper on Black Friday.

I have two of these and they're great. Looks overall very similar to the Rosewill model, except this one supports up to 14.3lbs, whereas the Rosewill only supports up to 13.2lbs. This one has gone on sale for $20 pretty regularly -- I bought both of mine at this price on separate occasions.
Yes, you will need a separate amplifier, as well as speaker wire and banana plugs (banana plugs optional, gives a cleaner look). One like this would work well:

This was good for MMOs and replaced my deathadders:
https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Gaming-Backlit-Programmable-Buttons/dp/B0086UK7IQ
I bought this also to replace my G600 for a deathadder feel that was raved about online but it was too small for me. It's got amazing reviews online for any gaming though.

I have been recommending this to friends. I do think people should wait another 4-6 months for cheaper laptops with 1060/1070 in them but if you are okay with a 960m(overwatch high/GTA 5 medium high) this laptop is at a historic low according to camelcamelcamel $700. My wife has had it for about a year and a half and it has run fairly well. Will probably need a bios upgrade if you experience issues. But it is the best thing under $1000. If you can jump to $1300 + go for something with a 1060 in it. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B015PYYDMQ/ref=mp_s_a_1_8?ie=UTF8&qid=1480297924&sr=8-8&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=gaming%2Blaptop&dpPl=1&dpID=419DWJfUXuL&ref=plSrch&th=1&psc=1

Is what I use, works great. I've had to go through a few bluetooth adapters and this has been the best one for keyboards/mice/controllers for me. Works fine with the XB1 controller for me.
A lot of the other ones would drop keyboard input or want you to install some software crap. This is just plug n play.
I just got this. I got tired of my G930 always disconnecting, so I'm going the good headphone + good microphone route.
I use it with Discord mainly, and I just up'd the threshold where it picks up sound. No push to talk necessary.
I also scooped this up. https://www.amazon.com/NEEWER-Microphone-Suspension-Scissor-Stand/dp/B00DY1F2CS
It says it's not compatible with the blue yeti, but the attachment has a converter that threads with the blue yeti. It's a little tricky to wiggle it out. So far, it's hanging fine.
Hope this helps someone.

I use this mouse, and bought it for a good bit more a couple years ago. Great mouse if you are into buttons.
Same price with prime,
I just bought this. With nothing to compare to I love it.
Setup trouble shooting, none of this stuff takes longer than 5 minutes a piece to google(except maybe #2) but I just set it up yesterday:
I bought this one for the price it's at right now. It seems to work fine with the controller posted here. Zero issues with some of the games I've played so far with it and the controller posted here: Dark Souls, Rocket League, Super Meat Boy, Don't Starve, Binding of Isaac, Bastion, Bit Trip Runner.
> But to eacg their own.
That reminds me of the time I tried blank keycaps :)
MagicForce68 was my first Massdrop purchase and I found the smaller format required too much hunting and pecking due to change in key positions and f-layer use. I bought a cheap (~$25) Tomoko87 on Amazon and loved it enough to buy a couple more to try modding different switches (haven't gotten around to it yet) and for my work computer.
This is a pretty good one if you like brown switches:

Please do not downvote me just for being unfavorable toward this otherwise great deal. I have provided objective reasons for why I feel this way. Please hear me out.
I guess it's better than a rubber dome + membrane keyboard, but if you have even $15 more to spend on a keyboard then don't get this (cheap mechs on amazon are better).
Romer-G switches are really no fun. Their primary design goal was to have even lighting. They do that well, but don't type well as a result.
EDIT: Here's an review covering this. A key issue with Romer G tactile switches is that the tactile bump is so weak, that the switches are nearly linear.
You might have good luck with pricing in your area, but under $500 for just three parts would be quite easy. r5 2600 + msi b450 tomahawk + Corsair 16gb 3000mhz comes out to <$300.
If you prefer 3rd gen ryzen: r5 3600 + asus tuf x570 (wifi) + same Corsair ram comes out to <$450.
Your mic stand snapped? I'm pretty sure you got a defective product. The mic only weighs 1.2 pounds without the stand...

There's a very good dongle (was very popular for the Raspberry Pi 2) that works flawlessly and is cheap. Never had an issue with Win10:
Plugable USB Bluetooth 4.0 Low Energy Micro Adapter (Windows 10, 8.1, 8, 7, Raspberry Pi, Linux Compatible; Classic Bluetooth, and Stereo Headset Compatible) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B009ZIILLI/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_dv-9ybGM1N3Y9
I think the standard (none Bluetooth) ones come with a radio adapter bundle if you wish. I don't believe there's a bundle with the controller S and a Bluetooth dongle officially. I can say that this was the dongle I purchased for my PC and it works great with the controller. No issues as of yet. I did make sure I went to the website and downloaded the correct drivers manually for it. I'm on Windows 10 build 1703.
I got this mouse pad not too long ago on sale for like 7.99. Its amazing! Its soft enough to cushion when I pick up and put down (slam in frustration) my mouse and its HUGE it fits my entire G910 Spectrum with room to spare for my mouse. Plus this has stitched edges and the logo came off easily with rubbing alcohol if you're into that. And as of posting this its only 9.99 so its even cheaper than the corsair.
Edit: one thing worth noting is that the texture is just a liiiiitle rougher than I was expecting. It feels good with the mouse but your wrist may not like rubbing against it very much.

/u/rendabs offered a better option:

25 inch 240hz 1080p ≠ 27 inch 144hz 1080p
Pixel density would be superior on the AW.
If you are going 27inch, 1440p should be a minimum.
Dell S2719DGF goes for the same price frequently which would be a better buy over Acer.
Still two completely different monitors. Atleast link another 240hz
Have you used the Outemo blue/brown switches before? Just curious.

Found 3 at good price with good reviews. I would personally pick the Redragon if I were buying one.
Editing is crap cause I'm on mobile. Sorry for the mess.
Can anyone speak to the quality difference between this and the S2719DGF? I know the 19 is newer and has FreeSync instead of G-SYNC. I have an Nvidia card for what it’s worth but as I understand it those can also use FreeSync
It’s $320 on Amazon so if the screen quality or something is significantly better I’d rather go for that
Not this specific one, just bought a Viotek 1440p 144hz monitor though, got it 2 days ago. Pretty impressed with price/performance compared to other monitors (no g-sync tho).

I don't know much about monitors, really, but I've been meaning to get one for a while now since I have an old generic 1366x766 60hz one from like 10 years ago. Would anyone please tell me what makes this one better than this one. It's A $20 price difference which isn't that much and they both have similar specs.
I have the IPS version of this monitor, and while the stand isn't bad, I ended up grabbing one of these desk mount swivel arms and absolutely love it. Can't beat the price either.

Owned boards from all of the series above. Highly recommend looking on your local Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace, or /r/hardwareswap for used keyboards. Can easily get them for half price from keyboard addicts such as myself who have too many ;)
I also have this desk. This is my setup at full height:
Monitor Arms: North Bayou Arms
Monitors: Dell U2417H 24" monitors
Keyboard: Ducky One Side Print 100% Keyboard
Mouse: Logitech MX Master (Meteorite)
Mouse Pad:PECHAM Extended Pad
Speakers: Logitech Z313
Chair: Amazon Basic Mid-Back Chair
Lamp: Desk Lamp
Drawers: IKEA Alex
Plants: Random succulents from Trader Joe's
Wallpapers: Studio Ghibli Wallpapers (1920x1080)

Cable Management: involves the cable raceway attached below the desk using Command Strips from Wal-Mart. The cord management sleeves came in 4 pieces and I used that to organize all the wires. I have the speaker remote attached next to the lifting mechanism under the desk which is nice for quick volume control. The sub-woofer is placed on the desktop due my preference of having the fewest number of cables coming down from the desk. The one cord that hangs down is the power strip that runs to the outlet. The power strip is placed within the c-clamp of one of the monitor arms.

Price: I was able to get a lower price in September 2018 at Office Depot using a 20% off coupon that was in general circulation. The final price with taxes and shipping to store was $149.90. But, I would gladly pay the $159.99 listed here.

Overall, I love the desk. In fact, I bought another one for my wife. The ability to switch between standing and sitting with the lifting mechanism is well worth the low price I paid. The setup requires minimal effort to lift - I personally use two hands for stability. I do think that an addition of a computer tower on the desktop will make it difficult, but not impossible, to lift. There is mention of wobbling in one of the review videos on YouTube, but it is barely noticeable on a day to day use. I will say that my only complaint is the desktop is not solid wood and I have experienced a bit of surface lift after a cup with condensation was left on the desktop overnight. I recommend using a coaster if you plan to having drinks on your desk.

So, looking here at this: "Used - Very Good
Item may come repackaged. Minor cosmetic imperfection on front of item (less than 1/4"x1/4"). Minor cosmetic imperfection on top or sides of item (less than 1/4"x1/4")."
Would this just be a new pair that had a cosmetic defect? Because if so, I'd grab them in an instant. I've never bought from an Amazon warehouse deal.
EDIT: There's also this: "Used - Very Good
Item will come in original packaging. Packaging will be damaged."
Is that just damaged packaging, or a returned item in damaged original packaging?

I own one of these monitors and put it on this ...works great!
Lepy 2020 is basically the cheapest worth bothering with.
I've got an SMSL SA-50 and I really like it. Feels nicely built and such.
It'd be cheaper to just get a Bluetooth adapter on Amazon while you're at it. At least then you can use it for other things as well.
One like this. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B009ZIILLI/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_J4ZPyb23DGPF1
Velocifire VM-01, Drevo Gramr, Nixeus Moda for browns. If you have a bit more money, though, I would go for a board from cooler master. I have one (with browns) and it's functional as well as RGB backlit without looking too "gamery". Hope this helps!
You can get these factory refurbished on Amazon for $63. I have purchased three of them and they all came in flawless condition. I'd say it's a good deal.

The silicon power p34a80 nvme drive is comparable/performs better in certain cases than the 970 evo and it’s cheaper than the sx8200 at $130 1TB
Silicon Power 1TB NVMe PCIe Gen3x4 M.2 2280 R/W up to 3,200/3,000MB/s SSD (SU001TBP34A80M28AB) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07L6GF81L/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_HQI1CbGD332PF
M.2 is a different connector and form factor that requires an m.2 slot , the drive uses the SATA standard to communicate with the computer but doesn't use traditional sata power and data cables and instead plugs directly into the motherboard.
They make adapter boards for m.2 if you don't have it, both sata for sata m.2 and pci express for nvme m.2 drives, but with the traditional 2.5 inch form factor 860 evo being about the same price you would be better off getting that one if you really want an 860 evo since that one will plug into regular sata data and power without the need to buy an adapter. there's not really any reason to buy an m.2 sata drive if your motherboard doesn't support it, unless you plan on upgrading soon to something that will have m.2 slots
Quite a few in this price range, probably can't go wrong with any of them. You'll be ecstatic about any of them compared to what you're using.

Compared to this monitor do you think this is a better bang for your buck or is it relatively the same? I’ve personally never heard of AOC and don’t want to stare at a crummy monitor to save $15.
Anyone know how the HDR is on this monitor, not a deal breaker but a buddy needs a new monitor and I showed him this viotek one but this looks like a good deal https://www.amazon.com/GN27DB-27-Inch-Monitor-FreeSync-GamePlus/dp/B078P57ZWL/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?keywords=viotek+monitor&qid=1569337181&sprefix=viotek&sr=8-3
for about the same price, I cannot recommend the Sennheiser HD558's enough
they don't need an amp, are very neutral (though some find them "boring"), and are the most comfortable things I've ever placed on my head
$122 on Amazon right now http://www.amazon.com/Sennheiser-504631-HD-558-Headphones/dp/B004FEEY9A
I've been eyeing http://www.amazon.com/Dell-Inspiron-i7559-763BLK-Full-HD-GeForce/dp/B015PYYDMQ with amazing specs for the price. Seems comparable to the XPS 15, who needs i7.
It dropped down to $750 during BF.
FWIW: Amazon currently has the same price as this link now:
https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-Electronics-Wireless-Controllers-XE800ZBA-HC1US/dp/B07HS7R1RT/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=odyssey+%2B&qid=1574452514&sr=8-1.
This might be enough to push me over the edge and buying it. 5% cash back with Prime Rewards Visa brings the price down to less than $220.
For $5 more if you want red backlighting you can get the Red dragon keyboard with the same switches. That one is pretty solid too but the Aukey is still not a bad buy at $25 if you don't wanna get into the $50 range for keyboards

Ever so slightly slower but double capacity. Faster than the popular 660p.
How smelly is this? I bought a PECHAM pad but had to return it because it made my house smell like a tire factory.

just pick a cheap one with good ratings from amazon imo
ex; https://www.amazon.com/Plugable-Bluetooth-Adapter-Raspberry-Compatible/dp/B009ZIILLI/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1468003622&sr=8-1&keywords=bluetooth+adapter
If you have prime this might be a better choice. Although Dell doesn't do the full three year warranty if it comes from amazon. You should also see what kind of warranty is available for this acer (it is refurbished so their might not really be any).
Probably the $72 Orb Audio Mini T or the $68 SMSL SA50. I read reviews on the Lepy amps on amazon and they seem not-so-good even though it's a tempting $40. So I'm looking in the ~$70 range. Leaning towards the orb audio since it has a 3.5mm for convenience sake (and a subwoofer connecter, idk if that's useful for miccas).
This or the VIOTEK GN27DB 27-Inch?

I don't know if I would enjoy curved, never tried it.
this would be pretty overkill for a 1060 3gb you can buy a 2600 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07B41WS48/ref=ord_cart_shr?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER here for $126 should hold you off until you get a better gpu but if you want to "future-proof" a little you can buy this instead
You can get it on amazon for 105 so id go that since shipping is probably faster, returns easier and 1 buck cheaper https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07RCM6DXK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_5Ns8Cb94V70XW
These coupons are literally not worth it UNLESS you can't be asked to wait for online shipping or you are purchasing way above the coupon minimum.
Lets take a look at their Ryzen Line.
https://www.frys.com/product/9522092?site=sr:SEARCH:MAIN_RSLT_PG 200$ for the 2600. With the promo coupon 160$
However online
https://smile.amazon.com/AMD-Processor-Wraith-Stealth-Cooler/dp/B07B41WS48?_encoding=UTF8&%2AVersion%2A=1&%2Aentries%2A=0&ie=UTF8&pldnNewCustomer=1&ref_=smi_ge_cnf_cnf_smi
The same cpu is 164$.
But here in lies the issue. Now the cpu is 160$ NOT 199. Therefore you have to buy something else in order to get the coupon.
Lets take a different item.
https://www.frys.com/product/9339760?site=sr:SEARCH:MAIN_RSLT_PG the i7-8700k is 370$. With the Promo its 296$. Which is amazing! Only problem its out of stock pretty much everywhere
https://smile.amazon.com/Intel-i7-8700K-Desktop-Processor-Unlocked/dp/B07598VZR8/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1550638139&sr=8-4&keywords=i7+9700k
online its $360. So you are getting a massive discount, provided you are well above the minimum purchase for the most part.
TLDR: Coupon is only really vauable for items with a high coupon margin or if you cant be asked for shipping on low coupon margin
If you're interested the 1TB is only the cost of 2 of these + $7 on amazon.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B078DPCY3T/ref=psdc_1292116011_t1_B07D998212?th=1
It says it's machine washable. I have 2 XXXL Pecham mats (~$8 when on sale), they do fine on normal cycle/warm water. That will get the chemical smell out pronto, but it will take all day drying in the sun or indoors with a fan blowing to dry it.
How would this compare to the Silicon Power SSD? I'm trying to replace my laptop's current m.2 ssd. I use it for light gaming and college work ,but I would like the option of transitioning it into laptop for professional workloads without dropping major budget on a Samsung 970 evo.
I think the one off of Amazon is a much better deal if you're willing to pay at 799.99 since it has a 256GB SSD instead of the 1TB HDD.

The Viotek GN27D, right? It's $229.99 on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/GN27DB-27-Inch-Monitor-FreeSync-GamePlus/dp/B078P57ZWL.
There's some reviews floating around and some from users on Reddit like this one: https://www.reddit.com/r/Monitors/comments/b8f9t6/viotek_gn27d/.
There's also a TN panel, the GFT27D, which is priced at $249.99.
Looks like Amazon just matched Walmart's price for those who prefer to order there: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07B41WS48
Inland is pretty close in performance and this is $25 more for 1TB on amazon
The Inland Premium 1TB is only $10 more and is better than this one, I'd pony up the extra cash for that if you can.

If you don't have a lot of desk space just get an arm microphone mount.
Just attaches to the very edge of your desk, you can stop putting the condenser mic away, and it's easily movable.
Going to need a better stand than that one I linked for the real heavy mics however.
For all my UK friends, here it is for £125.

Trying to fill a 2.5 inch storage slot. Is the Samsung SSD 860 EVO 1TB still worth double the price of Seagate FireCuda 2TB Solid State Hybrid Drive Performance SSHD on sale for $60?
I took a chance with a Redragon k552 from amazon for $40 shipped. It's a tenkeyless mech with blue outemu switches and feels pretty solid so far(only had it for a few days so who knows if it'll have switches fail later)

Not that good of a deal unless you really want a non-overclockable i5 for some reason.
Case: https://www.newegg.com/p/N82E16811356008 $39.99
Ryzen 2600: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07B41WS48 $117.68
ASRock B450M-HDV R4.0: https://www.superbiiz.com/detail.php?name=MB-B45MHR4&c=CJ&cjevent=e8c79fa208cc11ea82d2016d0a1c0e0c $64.99
Total: $222.66 and you have better upgrade options.
I have this arm for my yeti NEEWER Adjustable Microphone... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00DY1F2CS?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share and you can choose any of the cheap pop filters and it would be good
I also have a couple Pecham pads, work great, no physical flaws after years of use and washing. Only gripe I have is the same as /u/aCoolUserNameDur in that it just looks dingy.
The Pecham is $8.35 at the time of writing this comment.

i have 2 of these. one for me one for the GF. they are great. Also the PECHAM logo is not nearly as big as it looks in the listing picture. ive had mine for a month she has had hers for about a week. no issues yet.
Would this one be better? It's 1440p144 and VA for $250 https://www.amazon.com/GN27DB-27-Inch-Monitor-FreeSync-GamePlus/dp/B078P57ZWL/
Same price on Amazon with infinitely better CS/Shipping
This one is better

Thoughts on this compared to the VIOTEK GN27D 27 Inch 1440p 144hz Curved Computer Gaming Monitor Samsung VA Panel Freesync? The Viotek uses a Samsung VA panel. The main reason I am considering this is GSync, but it sounds like the Dell's picture quality isn't as good. I'd be using a GTX 1080, and I question if G-Sync is worth it especially at it sounds like I'd be getting a worse picture.
anyone know if you can mount this on something like a NEEWER Scizzor Arm Stand?
I just bought this on Amazon Prime Day:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B016MAK38U/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
How does that compare to the Enthusiast here?
This one is goin for just $9.99 on amazon. I have it and it looks as addvertised and has held off well for a couple of years so far.

You can get a 256gb SSD with 1080p IPS and the i5-6300 on amazon for $660 as well.
https://www.amazon.com/Dell-Inspiron-i7559-2512BLK-Generation-GeForce/dp/B015PYYDMQ?th=1
It's going for the same price on Amazon as well: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B078DPCY3T/ref=twister_B079P94LLX?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I’d argue that the inland premium is the best value.
I bought this for it, Really like it for streaming and recording gameplay stuff.
Do you guys think this is a better deal or the Redragon K552? I am looking to buy a keyboard for my nephew whom just turned 12 and is getting into computer gaming.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B016MAK38U/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=AXZ7TDMJNMJSZ&psc=1
EDIT: If you have a different suggestion, then I am open for it as well!
There's also the scissor arms that attach to your desk. They're not very durable, but fine once you get the microphone set up. Just don't expect to be moving the mic all over the place.
These work great for my yeti:
Shock mount: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B073Z9NF3Y/
Arm: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00DY1F2CS/ (will not fit the yeti without the shock mount)
Crappy pic of it all
Currently I am looking at this Bluetooth dongle: https://www.amazon.com/Plugable-Bluetooth-Adapter-Raspberry-Compatible/dp/B009ZIILLI/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1498333653&sr=8-7&keywords=bluetooth
It specifically said W10 anniversary edition update and above so I got worried.
I remember seeing a sale for Xbox One controller many months ago and some people recommended dongles there. Trying to find that post right now.
Edit: In case someone in the future have same question as I did and came here searching for answer, you can't use bluetooth connection if you are using anything other than W10. This is where I got my info from: https://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-on-windows/accessories/connect-and-troubleshoot-xbox-one-bluetooth-issues-windows-10
If you want to use wireless functionality, you have to buy microsoft wireless dongle ($23 on amazon as of today). I actually found bluetooth usb in my room and W8.1 was already giving a problem so I just freshly installed W10.
Buy an additional mic stand like this or just a tripod
Blue Switch TKL for like a dollar more if you need them clicky switches.
Decent drive but a QVO not EVO which is much faster and be had at Amazon for $139 now if want a faster drive.

Samsung odyssey plus in like new condition for around $230:

The ex920 or any of the E12 drives like Silicone Power or Sabrent etc. I just ordered this guy yesterday; https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07L6GF81L
Any reason to go with this over NVME? Seems like this is only for those that can't use NVME with the price being so close.
https://www.amazon.com/Silicon-Power-Gen3x4-000MB-SU001TBP34A80M28AB/dp/B07L6GF81L/
Bought this the other day from a post on here.
What's the difference between this one and the inland pro people recommend?
