21. Chios Mastiha Pack 25gr (0.88oz) Medium Tears Gum 100% Natural Mastic Gum From Mastic Growers Fresh

    Features:
  • Mastiha gum, Masticha, mastica, mastix or mastixa.mastic gum is unique in the world! Real mastic is only produced in the south part of Chios Island. It comes from the mastic tree. Chios gum Masticha is hand cleaned piece by piece. It is rare and unique, full of miraculous properties that made Hios mastic gum so much sought after.
  • Mastiha gradually loses its colour and after a long time it can appear yellowish or even yellow, something which is clearly due to its oxidation. Keeping it refrigerated (ideally) can slow down this process. But even when oxidized, it is absolutely safe despite being degraded.
  • The best mastiha for chewing is a combination of hard and soft tears that prevent it from being sticky on the teeth and make it agreeably chewable. It needs patience, though, because at the beginning the sensation is unusual and the taste rather bitter.
  • The summer months Mastic should be preserved either in a fridge, or in a very cool place where temperatures do not exceed 18ο C (64ο F).The mastic if exposed to high temperatures will stick together and become one lump, because the mastic is 100% natural mastic without any other additives.
  • If the mastic sticks and becomes one lump it does not lose any of its beneficial properties, or its taste..In this case,If the mastic is very much stuck (if it has been exposed to high temperature) then you might have to put it in a deep freezer for a few hours and then while it is still frozen break it into pieces and kept in the refrigerator.

HP likes an acidic environment. They are smart. When the environment is not to their liking there will dig holes in the gut and hide in them. They come out when it is safe. The holes cause a leaky gut which allows for a whole host of problems.

The baking soda tricks them into thinking its a good time to come out. The mastic gum kills them. Its a way to keep HP in check.

I use this one. It seemed stronger than others I bought...basing off the fact that when I would burp it would taste like the actual gums I would use. Both seemed to help.

I would just fill empty gel caps with basic non AL baking soda.

Have you tried any supplements?

I’m about 3 weeks into carnivore and week 2 was absolute hell on my stomach.

I did some research and added the following supplements and I’m back to all good. They aid with animal fat digestion. I added the iron because I feel it helps with PMS emotional symptoms.

I also did a 24 Hour fast with just bone broth, which helped too - a reset kind of. And 1 Metamucil tablet a day for 3-4 days.

lipase

ox bile

iron

Good luck!

Apple Cider Vinegar

Results may vary but it's been touted to help with GERD. Once I'm in better shape and at my target weight I plan on making the experiment to see if it works for me.

I'd recommend getting the book Processed Food Addiction

Processed Food Addiction: Foundations, Assessment, and Recovery https://www.amazon.com/dp/1498719961/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_vIqODb09ZD3W0

Yes, it's a textbook. But I've found on my journey that knowledge is absolute power. Reading it daily may keep you focused and you'll learn how to tackle it.

I'm fine without eating organ meats. I tried eating liver a few times, but I couldn't handle it. I did however buy these, and I feel good after taking them.

Here it is. If the problem is in the lower 1/3rd of the colon, this works. If it's higher up, no. The medicine has to get to the problem.

This. Magnesium citrate. Pill form. I use these. Start with 2 or 3 before bed AND then again in the morning to get you going. I’ve settled on 2 at night and 1 in the morning. Works wonders. Drink them with a full glass of water (magnesium pulls fluid into the digestive tract). Doctor told me it was fine to use indefinitely.
